Fun fact is I'm technically reviewing the hotel next to them since I was told at one point they overbooked this hotel and they would place me at a similar value hotel next door but in reality it felt is the same owner/company. The one I stayed in did look like the "cheaper" version of the two and the room I had booked looked a bit nicer than the hotel I was placed in but its not like it was a horrible downgrade just noticeable enough. I liked the location since is fairly walkable to the old town while also not being in the old town itself plus is next to a really good restaurant around the corner and not far from the train station. The staff was friendly though and since all our stay was good, the small downgrade was not enough to sour the experience at all.

I wished we were notified of the changes of being overbooked with plenty of time in advance because when notified I was already on my trip so I had no time to research anything else and my main real choice was to trust in them having space on the other hotel which luckily did work out. Also, same issue as with EVERY hotel I had in Uzbekistan which was the whole play on their credit card machine not working but once they realize we don't have cash and we won't pay otherwise than by card then magically the credit card machines do start working properly so stick to using your card even if you have to play that game.

Staff was very helpfull.

The final price was 10% higher than in my booking confirmation. They said there is extra tax to pay, but I dont know why it was not mension in Booking.com

I loved everything about the stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. The location was a 5 mins drive to the old city or 20 minutes walk. The breakfast spread was amazing and honestly one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel in Uzbekistan. The staff was friendly and so helpful especially the two male receptionists. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in khiva. You won't regret it. The staff helped me book my flights back to Tashkent and honestly went above and beyond to help us.

Everything was perfect.

I like the position, really close to the railway station and not so far from the eastern entrance to Khiva old town. the room was very big - comfortable and the bathroom was big too. Good service at check in and plenty of vending machines in the hall for water or snacks, but you can go out and there are a plethora of groceries, restaurants - even a big lunapark! My room got also a terrace with a view on communal pool. Big breakfast hall.

I can suggest to improve air conditioner power , and offering a continental breakfast like in central europe - plus croissant and coffee like in Italy or France.

I had requested a ground floor room as I have a leg and back injury. And I was allocated a wonderful spacious room with beautiful rugs on the floor. So far the most comfortable place I've stayed in Uzbekistan. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A wonderful spread for breakfast in a dining room beautifully designed with ikat weaving for decor. Just visually fantastic. Good walking distance from Itchan Kala.

We liked everything about our stay at Khiva Palace, including the location, breakfast, and comfort of our room, but especially the hospitality of the staff. Mr. Ulugbek Salaev provided all the necessary information before our arrival in Khiva and supported us throughout our stay with sightseeing and dining recommendations, explanations, and an amazingly convenient airport pick-up service, both before and after our stay. We can highly recommend staying at Khiva Palace to anyone visiting Khiva.

Great location within walking distance of the old city and a couple of outstanding restaurants. Less than 5 min. to walk from the train station. The manager (Timur) was very helpful and made sure our stay there was enjoyable. Rooms are spacious and the room service was great

Breakfast buffet was good, but lacked a couple of 'European' choices, it was maybe due to our stay being in the off-season.

The crew was incredibly helpful and committed to their work. They helped us with any problems during our stay. Breakfasts are adapted to the needs of guests - a special questionnaire is filled out upon arrival. The hotel is very well located - right next to the station, shops and bank, walking distance from the old town. The hotel has a nice patio and a swimming pool, which is a great respite on hot days.

The aircondition might be more effective.

Amazing hotel, magnificent outdoor - Pool, very spacious rooms, quiet location (no traffic Noise), really excellent breakfast (fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, pancakes, cheese). Design is a bit oriental-retro, but beautiful. Shower curtain has to be optimized-water Runs into the bathroom. The staff is very welcoming and professional. Historical City Centre (about 5 min) by foot. Voxal=Train Station is less than 5 minutes by foot (no problem Even with heavy baggage). i love the most swimming in and sitting at the pool after returning from Sightseeing - the Pool is in a kervanseray-style courtyard. BTW: best Restaurant in Khiva is Restaurant Terrassa (West Gate).

Hospitality was great, very attentive to our needs. Hotel let us check in at 0700 after the overnight train from Tashkent and prepared a breakfast for us at our last minute request. Great location walking distance between station and the old town and next to a good restaurant.

Empty swimming pool meant a very long fall for our toddler who runs a lot without paying attention...... So constantly trying to stop.him running around whilst having breakfast outside.
