We stayed at the hotel the night before our flight. When we came back from visiting the city centre, there were around 50 people all checking into the hotel and the lifts were packed. We were staying on the 4th floor and I am currently pregnant. We asked staff where the stairs were, and the lovely man who was working in the entrance to the restaurant/bar that night really kindly showed us a quicker way. Later that evening we realised we only had one small pillow each in the room. This wasn’t ideal for sitting up and reading, nor was it ideal for me sleeping whilst pregnant so I went down to reception. It was still busy, but the same nice man noticed I was waiting and asked to help. He went out of his way to go and find another pillow and brought it to my room. He was brilliant and kind

It's the old school comfort, in the best sense of the word - big wardrobe, shelves, drawers, coat hangers, enormous desk. I spent a week there and felt like at home. When I compare my several recent experiences from different "boutique" hotels where I had a net of neon lights on the wall, but no hook to hang a towel on, this hotel is of a "boring" design, thanks god! The staff is kind and discrete, and it's impeccably clean throughout. The bedding is excellent. I also find the location excellent for meetings in the north-east area of Brussels, as it's just outside of the densely packed city, allowing easy morning commuting, and still not in a corn field. Multiple public bus options are at the doorstep, as well as some bars, restaurants and shops. In the evening, city centre is just 20 minutes' ride (compared to one-hour in the morning rush hour).

Some proper coffee machine at the breakfast room would be a treat.

Hotel is situated in Paduwa neighborhood, a quiet and safe area. It is around 30 min to city center by bus or 50 min by foot Also you can take an UBER for an average of 16-18 euros to and from the city center. Great staff, professional and helpful in all aspects. Good room. large enough for 2 persons. Didn't booked breakfast, preferred to eat in city. Great place to stay if you want to stroll around the city for more days or just a quick visit Close to bus station, and found a good range of cafés and restaurants in the area.

Nothing other then my own biased preferences - (pillows were too soft, i need a rock like pillow to enjoy sleeping )

Perfect location. The bus stop for bus Nr. 66 is right opposite the hotel door and with just one vehicle, in about half an hour, you can reach the heart of the city (central station). An excellent breakfast buffet with a wide variety is available for an additional fee. It is possible to reserve a parking space for an additional fee, and a direct connection to the hotel is used for luggage and access to the parking lot. The room was spacious, with a large and very comfortable bed.

The water in the bathroom did not have enough flow. The shower screen was not large enough and when taking a shower, a lot of water splashed onto the floor.

Top notch for a near-airport stay. The shuttle to/from nearby airport was very convenient and a welcome service.

There was a woman behind the desk who seemed like a scold regarding expectations about the airport transportation. (We had scheduled an 8 am airport transport but upon learning that our flight was going to be delayed, we decided to delay transportation by a couple of hours and relax in the room). She could have handled it more professionally (and warmly) in her delivery of information instead of her forceful , “you cannot just expect for the van to be leaving every hour because it needs to be scheduled…” Well, ok lady … chill out ;-) … Her gentleman colleague however was warm and helpful in contrast. Otherwise, it’s an excellent hotel in a good neighborhood with lots of eateries nearby. Very highly recommended.

The room is large enough and well organized, allowing for 2 people to do different activities (eg one sleeping and the other working on a computer). Decoration and whole feel is dated and old fashioned, but the bed is large and comfortable. Personnel were helpful and clever (to immediately understand what you were asking for). Free shuttle to and from Brussels airport a huge plus (not available during weekends). The location was convenient for my needs and parking was easy enough and cheap (I had a car and parked in public spaces) Also very good value

The initial feeling in the room is a bit gloomy and definitely dated, old fashioned. But once you get used to it, the room is actually quite good, well organized.

This felt like a typical business hotel to us. The facilities are mostly targeted at business travellers rather than family or leisure visits. The room was quite comfortable and spacious; truly value for money. It was really clean on arrival. There are several facilities at the hotel, like room-service, airport transfer, that we did not avail. The neighborhood is nothing special -- it is a little far from Brussels city center, and mostly residential. Public transport connectivity, however, is convenient to reach tourist/business destinations within the city. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The breakfast could have been a lot better, in our opinion. It is definitely not value for money. However, there are not too many cafes or breakfast places in the neighborhood -- so it is convenient to have the option in the hotel.

The room had a good size, the bed was comfy, everything was clean and there were fresh towels everyday. The breakfast had an abundant choice of foods. The location is a little outside of the city center but there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and the bus (line 66) takes you within 25min into the city center, depending on traffic. Another bus (line 80), the bus stop is around the corner, takes you directly to the European Quarter. The shuttle to the airport was also great. When we arrived, we called as advised and they said they didn't have a driver, so we should pay a taxi and they will reimburse us. To get back to the airport, they have a shuttle every hour, you just tell them what time you have to be at airport. We loved to stay there and would stay again if we visit Brussels again.

We needed a room in Brussels for 1 night in view of an event we were attending, so we weren't looking for anything fancy, just an affordable room with good public transportation connection to the city center. With this purpose in mind, the room and hotel met our expectations. The hotel felt a little dated but was clean and comfortable overall. Friendly staff. The hotel offers a (paid) parking space.

While the room rate itself was affordable, the additional costs for parking (21 euros per day) and breakfast (22 euros per person) really ramped up the total price. The 22 euros per person for breakfast is exaggerated considering the rather standard selection offered. Admittedly, the scrambled eggs and the breakfast sausages were good, but for that price I would have expected e.g. more fresh fruits, some smoked salmon, ... Coffee served at the buffet was terrible (although the staff would bring better coffee on demand). Overall, I would recommend to pick up a coffee and a croissant or pastry in one of the nearby bakeries instead.
