Really liked this accommodation. It was really clean, sheets and towels changed regularly, bins emptied also. The pool was a real selling point also. Loads of sun loungers never had an issue getting them (group of 9). Food in the pool bar was great and staff were very friendly. Location was great. Supermarket/car rental/ beach all very nearby. Near loads of watersports, lovely restaurants, and a beautiful island that you can swim to, something for everyone right on your doorstep. We only had breakfast there one day but everyone in the group was happy with it. Accom was good value for what we paid, will definitely try to return!

Nothing really, if i was pushed to give an answer I would say the prices of soft drinks/ice creams and a plate of chips at the pool bar. All other drinks and food were good value though, so you could pop to the supermarket to stock up on icecreams and soft drinks if you needed.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Great pool. Great location, not far from beach and the supermarket close by was very handy. We needed the air conditioning in the August heat. The knives provided were fine for cutting (some reviews mentioned they weren’t). Fridge & freezer were useful (Tea towel provided. But no sponge/brush or washing up liquid). Also washing line and pegs on the balcony were very useful. My daughter loved all the kittens and cats around the place. Don’t miss the amazing Sykaminia restaurant close by.

Not much not to like. As others have said - the shower curtain falls outside the shower basin so the water drips on the floor (there is a drain there). You can arrange the curtain so it drips less though. Lots of hot & cold food choices at breakfast (including homemade jams & juices from fruit from the hotel garden). As long as you’re not comparing it to a German hotel breakfast it was fine. For me personally another hook or two in the bathroom and bedroom would’ve been useful.

Our room was fine. Well equipped kitchenette, enough to accommodate parents and cook for a baby. Bathroom with a bathtub. We had a quiet back balcony with a view to fields. Everything was clean and neat. Breakfast was satisfactory. We liked sitting by the pool on the sunbeds. There's a bar there offering drinks. The location is great, 5' walk to some nice organized beaches, a small supermarket on the way. There were also restaurants and cafes pretty close and also a stop for the local bus. Very friendly and helpful people!! They did their best to make us feel comfortable and we really appreciate it!

You have to pay 7€ per day if you want to use the air-conditioning. Coming in mid September and being lucky having the room in the back with less sun, we didn't need it though.

Close to the beach, everyday we’ve got a clean towels, comfort beds, very nice terrace.

Little children who screams and running by the pool until midnight, so if you looking for adults only hotel this place is not for you because you will not get rest.

Our host was extremely welcoming, approachable, kind and helpful, making sure we had all our questions answered, that we were made aware of all the facilities at the hotel and any local activities/venues to enjoy. Our studio room was ideal for a travelling couple with a very comfortable large double bed, big tv, balcony, kitchenette, shower and toilet. The plentiful breakfast buffet was delicious and great value at €6 each, and the cost of our room was also very reasonable with just a small optional charge of €7 per day for air conditioning which was very effective. The swimming pool was extremely refreshing, the poolside bar offered any drink you could ask for and lots of food options, there were rubber rings to float on plus a pool noodle and even a playpark so perfect for families too. There was a supermarket open until 1am and a bus stop towards Kos town 2 minutes walk from our room as well as a bar showing sports and plenty restaurants with great food. We really couldn't have asked for more and have nothing bad to say about our time at Chrysoula Hotel, we will most definitely be back and hope that whoever reads this is compelled to stay there too.

Not a thing.

Nice inexpensive family-friendly hotel not far from the airport of Kos. It has two playgrounds for kids, two swimming pools for adults and kids, a lot of fruit and olive trees on the premises. A pebble beach is 5 minutes walk away. A nicer sandy beach with shallow waters is located further 200 m away, just opposite the Kastri islet. A small supermarket/convenient store is also near. One can have decent meals in the snack bar next to the swimming pool. Some reviewers wrongly claimed that the swimming pool is open only until 18:00. It is untrue, they should better read what is written on the signboard. Namely, the lifeguards are on duty until 18:00, but the swimming pool is actually open until 21:00.

The kitchenette had no frying pan. There was no WiFi signal in the room. To get some signal, I had to put my mobile phone next to the window facing the pool area.

The apartment was comfortable and the fact that they are separated into smaller building with just a handful of apartments in each was much nicer than a large apartment block. Being so close to the pool was great. The pool bar was well stocked and the food was really good and good value too. The staff were all super friendly. My only comment would be to add more cutlery, a good knife, a chopping board etc to the apartment kitchen, but still we managed and it did not detract frm our stay.

Nothing. We loved the apartment and complex and have no complaints at all. We would love to return one day.

Location though far from the port it felt like a hidden gem beautiful hotel grounds the pool area was great short walk to the beach and shops

Only stayed 2 night booking .com hotel description was misleading as it was 40km from the port the description stated 10km if we had known it was that far we would have stayed longer and hired a car. I do suggest that booking .com give accurate distances from ferry ports and not just airports as many enter the greek islands by ferry.

Amazing staff and being this close to the beautiful Agios Stefanos beach (several people outside of the hotel say they think it's the best beach on Kos) is a thing of luxury on it's own. The room, while fairly basic, had everything we needed. The beds are very firm, which we don't mind, but if you prefer a soft bed they may not be for you. The hotel itself is in a quiet area but only two minutes from a small supermarket and five minute from the beach. The breakfast was good and had enough choice to not get bored after a few nights. In summary, a good and affordable hotel with great staff and a lovely beach nearby.
