Location is superb, being right off Highway 401. Tim Horton's and a Harvey's right there. Room was very clean. Bathroom and shower great. Room temperature was excellent all night. Staff really accomodating.

The door lets in a lot of light at night. The TV system needs a lot of work. The TV itself is a nice, big, newer flat screen. However, it's 2024 and I get better reception with a pair of rabbit ears. The signals were marginal at best and we tried to search channels for Over the Air, Cable, and From the Wall Cable. There were a lot of channels, but they were all snowy or had a marginal in-and-out signal. Again, in this day and age, really poor. Also, I sent two messages to the property about being late and the property never replied to me. I had no idea if they had received my messages. I guess I could have phoned but my point is they didn't respond. Very rare for that to happen.

Room was clean, maintained well and good size.

The hallways leading to the rooms smelled musty and could use a super cleaning! Think it was the carpets. Was locked of of our room and had to go to the front desk not once, but twice! Super annoying!!! They expired our key cards a day early. Staff needs to pay far better attention! This has happened to me before when coming in late, 3 AM. at 3 AM no body wants to go back to the reception in order to get into the room. Also, felt the price was a little high for such an old property!

Breakfast was great. Good variety, healthy choices, great waffles. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will, definately, go back. Beds are very comfortable

There were a few very minor things I pointed out. The staff explained some of them and was receptive to my suggestions. As I said, we'll be back.

The breakfast was very good - the whole dining area was immaculate - the Lady in charge was very helpful. A major gas station next door and easy access to 401 makes this hotel ideal for short stay travellers. Also easy access to downtown Port Hope.

Not anything worth mentioning-

We booked our stay last minute as we were on the road all day. While the hotel is dated and needs minor repairs aesthetically - it is clean and comfortable Free parking - gas station and Tim Hortons are right next door The breakfast is excellent with lots of choices. The front staff are friendly and hilarious - we needed a 30min later check out as my visit with relatives went longer than expected!

Enjoyed the breakfast with more options than other hotel buffets. Crisp bacon, mini danish and a waffle maker. Our room had a king bed and a couch as requested. It allowed a more comfortable setting for a visit with family.

That they have an elevator. The people are very friendly, especially the lady who runs the Breakfast area.

That they have a bathtub (bathtubs are dangerous for Seniors) in the washroom. They should have showers stalls instead.

entrance door is uneven, hard to open/close and the fridge smelt discusting. i opened it and it smelt like hot garbage, brutal. the room was very comfortable, terrible Analog tv, spend some money and at least go Standard Digital tv.. location was great.

Stayed here with my son for a local hockey tournament. Staff was friendly, beds were comfortable, breakfast was well stocked and staffed. Facilities are a little run down, but for a short stay at a reasonable price this hotel provides the basics.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean. Breakfast was good. Room was clean with brand new tub/shower, tiles etc. Overall it was a great experience for how much it cost to stay there.

Carpet needed to be replaced. Side door didn't work with room key. Would have been handy for room location and parking.
