Very friendly and in a good position.

Although the food was very nice, I thought that the system of serving people requesting takeaways before diners wasn’t very successful. We had to wait an hour on average for our food and a lot of people more than that. We saw a table of three get up and go and others complaining. It’s a shame because as I repeat the food is delicious and the pizzas very nice.

Large pretty property, though hard to tell from the outside because of the renovation work currently being done. Good-sized bedroom, comfortable bed, tasty and extensive breakfast, and an excellent and very well-priced restaurant. House wine was pretty good, as was the range of draft beers on tap. Food was a highlight of my stay, along with the helpful staff who provided lots of tips for hiking in the Grand Sasso area and provided detailed maps as well. Definitely a place to stay if you are visiting the Grand Sasso area.

Nothing. Some have noted that breakfast was served from behind what seem like Covid shields. It did seem a bit odd at first, but on the other hand you get personal service instead of a self-serve buffet. It’s not a big deal.

What a gem of a hotel to find in the middle of the Gran Sasso national park. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely interested in making guests feel at home. The room was a great size and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. The area around the hotel is just beautiful with gorgeous views of the mountains, and it has maintained its authentic, Italian charm. Thankfully it is not overrun by the masses (and I hope it never will be!). The breakfast in the morning was delicious and more than I expected. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The only incovenience was that the hotel was undergoing rennovations while we were there, but I think that is a good thing that shows the management is dedicated to keeping it beautiful and comfortable.

Great people,excellent room with character not a standard appearance, breakfast excellent very high quality food. The hotel restaurant is excellent and both the interior and exterior areas are lovely.

staff were excellent Sarah was extremely helpful with ideas for visits and very friendly . Danny gave great service and suggestions in the restaurant .The food both for breakfast and evening meals was delicious and very reasonably priced .

I do think that we should have been advised that the hotel was under refurbishment . It was difficult to see on arrival if it was even open at all . I think this was reflected though in the very reasonable price.

The place is quiet and relaxing with wonderful mountain views. The staff is very nice and respectable. They are family and they treat you as a family. Furniture is classic and a bit old but clean. The restaurant is perfect with delicious food.

Some construction was going on and it was a little bit disturbing but it was temporal

Exceptional staff, so friendly, accomodated our ride back to Rome.We had exceptional dinner and good selection for breakfast! Room was impeccably clean and had very comfortable bed. View from the window was picturesque and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Large room with fridge and small terrace overlooking the mountains. Whirlpool bath was a bonus. Ample on-site parking. Restaurant on-site was good with great local wine and used by locals. Breakfast quality ok. Small lift available but no stairs from 1st floor to ground.

Locanda del Parco Hotel, Ornano Grande, Abruzzo. Oct 25th, 2022. A beautiful mountain view location. Hotel is equipped with a lift and has a good restaurant with excellent local fare! Abundant breakfast served neatly by the staff. The bar is available for coffee, other beverages and snacks. Room: panoramic view of amazing mountains! Good beds, decor and bath. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Be sure to pet the sweet, black and white cat, who patrols the grounds.
