A nice property at a traditional building in Assergi, I stayed there while visiting LNGS but it can be an excellent base for trekking on Gran Sasso. The owner is very friendly and serves a nice breakfast every morning. The room is as in the photos, quite spacious for 2 people and despite the cold weather, it was quite warm!

Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful! Starting from giving us tips about where to hike, Giving us a ride to the starting point, Packing a small lunch, And even lend us a jacket for the hike in the mountains! We appreciate the help of Ermanno and Josepe

It's true you can hear the other rooms but considering it's an old house that was beautifully renovated it was worth it!

Lovely old building close to the village center, but easy to reach even by car.

Custom control of the heating by the guest would be nice. The overall heating was completely OK, just a bit of more control would be beneficial.

The hospitality of the owner is what made the experience great! Very prompt in answering our questions even before our stay. He offered us coffee and biscuits from when we arrived and also recommended place for dinner. Room is clean and warm even during winter. The bathroom is complete with towels, soap, and with hairdryer. The water pressure from the shower is also good. There are complementary sweets as well. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy breakfast but we had to leave early morning. Would recommend this place!

Nice historical building and very friendly owners. I liked the breakfast. You have to park the car ca. 100 m away, but this is unavoidable in a historical village.

Ideal location right at the foothills of Gran Sasso. The apartment was nestled up a tiny street in a lovely little village. The host Peppe was very friendly and provided a lovely breakfast. We chatted about the mountains and he advised on some of the best hikes in the area. Parking was a bit tight and the streets were quite narrow so be weary if driving anything larger than a Fiat 500!

The location was amazing and the host was great. He prepared the breakfast in the small cellar which was super nice.
