Casa Luciana is located in a very tranquil corner of La Condesa, one of Mexico City's upscale neighborhoods. There was no problem with noise and after a long day of walking around Mexico City, we knew that we had a refuge to return to. The staff is friendly and well trained. The breakfast was outstanding - authentic "chilanga" cuisine!

My wife commented that there was not enough light at Casa Luciana. I did not notice but my wife is much more perceptive than I. My wife's comment was not a complaint but merely a comment.

Very friendly. Great location and beautiful room. Overall a delightful place to stay.

The setup downstairs meant it slightly lacked a sense of “service” having to lean into the kitchen if you needed anybody. Someone to help with heavy bags would also have been appreciated especially with no lift.

Everything about the property was 10 out of 10 the service the location, the rooms the staff I really felt like I was being taken care of in a private villa. It was just amazing.

Absolutely nothing was wrong with our stay

Wonderful staff. Great location. Beautiful warm modern style with high end finishes. The terrace on the roof is beautiful. A few seating areas, a bar, bathroom. I would go down to the breakfast room around 7 am, ask for coffee and the take it up to my room or the roof top. Or they would bring it up if it was for 2. Beautiful street. Quiet Note—no elevator. Stair steps can be a bit dark. There is about a 2-3” step down when you enter the room. I trained myself. Also the bathroom area is a step up. I travel with a small nightlight which I put on the bathroom area to illuminate the area for night time.

Casa Luciana is quite small and cozy, with only a few rooms, situated in a very green and beautiful neighbourhood. Rooms are quite small, but they are comfy. All showers come with a ceiling shower, which I hated but we then realised that everywhere in Mexico is the same, no idea why. We loved the breakfast - really tasty, some days better than in others but it's not the same person cooking everyday. The staff is kind and always tries to accommodate your needs, but they are missing a few things - like adaptors, for example, if you come from Europe like us. Or an evening snack, if you need to eat something fast before an event (which was our case, before a wedding). The rooftop terrace is like a cocoon, filled with plants and with a small fountain that soothes your ears. We loved getting our coffee up there every morning, before heading to breakfast. We spent 4 days in Mexico city and we think we picked a very nice hotel. However, if you're looking for room service or any other kind of service, I don't think this small boutique hotel it's a fit for you.

I really liked the location of the hotel, it was in a great neighbourhood and near a lot of bars, restaurants, shops etc it was really easy to walk around or order and Uber. The room was great and really liked the tv in the bed with access to Netflix etc it was great that you got a free drink on arrival and free coffee/water everyday. Liked that the maid service cleaned mid afternoon so never disrupting anyone. Didn’t realise breakfast was included until we arrived but we were out most days, this was an added extra.

There was no lift! As we were away for a number of weeks we had really heavy luggage and it was a real pain carrying this upstairs to our room. WiFi wasn’t always great but this is minor

the hotel and rooms are stunning and I thought the free drink on arrival was a really great touch. the rooftop terrace is a lovely place to chill in the mornings and evenings. location of the hotel is close to condesa & roma. all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful if I needed anything.

there is no reception so you spend a lot of your time waiting for staff to show up. I had to let myself into the office to get my suitcase because I needed to leave and no staff were around for over ten minutes. another thing was that the glass shampoo bottle slipped off the side of the bath and smashed and they charged me £48 for this. I understand this is the price of the shampoo bottle on the product’s website but I thought it was a bit unfair to charge me for a full new bottle when I hadn’t smashed a full bottle of shampoo. the wifi barely works.

Everyone was so nice. The room was cozy, loved my balcony view from the third floor! The breakfast was satisfying and near many bars. The spa was so cute and I enjoyed the massage. They even did a bag storage for me! Loved how small the hotel was, no elevator so pack light. Asked for a mezcalita and was pleasantly surprised! In California, mezcal is way too harsh and Smokey, here in CDMX the mezcal is so smooth. The aromatics of the products in the bathroom and spa were so relaxing but still energizing? So earthy I loved it and would be psyched to return.

The bathroom had a moist smell? But I just opened the window and it was fine. A little bit pricier than I thought but overall a great deal.

Perfect location, beautifully decorated and the most comfortable bed ever! Hot tub on the terrace with a margarita was just perfect!!

Sadly the breakfast wasn’t great - we were spoiled with our meals in our Mexico trip, and surprisingly this was possibly the worst! It wasn’t warm, tomato sauce was very watery and there was no flavour at all. The breakfast service was all just a bit awkward/ confusing - another guest gave us the QR code menu, and it took sometime for our order to be taken. There were 3 members of staff on and 2 tables occupied, but the tables weren’t cleaned after they had been used. Signs saying water, tea and coffee were available at any point and to contact on WhatsApp - had contacted in the morning for a coffee to the room, but it never arrived. Not a huge deal but just the small things that made our stay feel a little less special.

Wonderful Mexican breakfast every morning, which started our day off right; decent proximity to attractive neighborhoods and the city park; attentive staff willing to go the extra mile; serene rooftop terrace with complimentary water/coffee/tea service, perfect for an afternoon siesta.

There's not much to critique of this pristine property, so I'm nit-picking here: Condesa is a hip neighborhood but a bit rough around the edges in terms of architecture, but Casa Luciana is beautiful to look at (to clarify—the neighborhood is incredibly safe, I'm just making an aesthetic/construction remark); it's a boutique hotel built into a large home, so the rooms still feel a bit tiny.
