The room was very comfortable, great size and clean. Everyone I spoke to on reception were friendly and helpful. The hotel was a short 5-10 min walk from the train station which you can get to the main city centre easily from (takes around 40-60 mins)

There isn’t anything in the area around the hotel so you do need to get the train elsewhere for restaurants and shops. The hotel doesn’t serve meals other than breakfast. Gluten free options at breakfast was only toast, cereal and small muffins, would’ve liked to have had a few more options but it was good to have something available.

The place was perfect for tourists who want to skip the low carbon emissions, parking hassle and just stay somewhere use the train back and forth reaching the hotel comfortably. Personally I liked the location, for first time visitors because driving in Barcelona is a hassle due to the low carbon emission zones/registration etc. The hotel was perfectly situated only 8 minutes walk close to the train station that takes you directly to Placa Catalunya where you take the red/blue line hop on hop off buses just 1 mins walk away from the metro station. I am travelling with my 73 year old mum, so I am rather happy without being overly stressed 😃

They do not have fridge in the rooms.

Quite area, everything clean, police was patrolling the area every night, staff was polite and always willing to help, great stay and BEST Value for the price we paid !!! A nice bonus was the free parking on site ! Breakfast needs some vegetables !!!

Lack of vegetables at breakfast, and the size of the room, it was really small for 2 adults and 2 kids, also it would be nice to have a small fridge in the room, but considering the size of the room I can understand why it was not there, everything else was better than we actually expected ! A great holiday for a great price !

I thought that the fact that the hotel premises take seriously fire emergencies was a great added value. Two stairways from either side of the bedroom aisle and optic fire detectors in the room along with the many other systems in place were excellent (fire extinguishers and ventilated emergency ways). Also, very clean and tidy facilities all around. The bed was very comfortable as well and breakfast was very decent! Staff at the facility were professional and kind to their costumers. Definitely a place I would go back!

Nice hotel close to Sant Joan S2 station. Very good connection to Barcelona Pl. Catalunya. Nice breakfast, but not so varied. We had the same food for 6 days (3 type of ham/salami, 1 type of cheese, boiled eggs, some sausages, 4 type of gem, and some patisserie), although good. The room is rather small with very small closet. But for sleeping after long days of walking in beautiful city of Barcelona it was OK. :) Compliments to reception girl who, at 5am when we leaved for airport, packed us croissants, some fruits and juice. TIP: travel from hotel to airport took us 1H and 20 min, using S2 to Provenca->Diagonal, L5 to Collblanc and then L9s to T2 Airport.

Great value for money. Modern and lives up to Holiday Inn brand. Friendly and helpful staff, superb cleaners! Everything hotel related was easy. Room was nice, air con worked, beds were comfy. Breakfast, although quite mediocre, was a nice bonus to start off the day.

We would've loved a mini fridge in the room to keep some food cool, as it was so hot. This was really the only thing that was not good at the hotel. Smaller annoyances - location is a bit unfortunate, even though train is near and easily gets to Barcelona centre. Also, what's up with elevators breaking constantly?

Good value for money. Close to SFC line single ticket cost 2.5€ to take to city center, where you have to buy another ticket if want to use bus/tram within city. Clean and hygienic. Breakfast was the same for all 4 days we stayed but was fulfilling and good. Airport was far away and taxi took 40€ to reach there.

Nothing, bed could be more cosy and soft. Bathtub was not allowed to use due to shortage of water in Catalunya. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

Room is clean, modern, comfortable, well equiped. Breakfast included is a plus, not spectacular, but good and not too crowded at rush hour.

My room was on the street, and the window is not very sound-proof, it looks like seals could be fixed or changed, and that would be much better. TV is small and a bit old. A smart tv with youtube/netflix would be great.

I like that it was very close to the train station with direct access in Barcelona center, the customers service was excellent, breakfast was decent but coffee could have been better, however happy with the overall experience.

Room is quite small for 2 adults and 2 children. I think I was expecting a bigger family room. There is no fridge in the room, so nowhere to keep a cold drink in, in particular in the hot weather.

The hotel staff, led by Mrs. Carla, was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of food and drinks. Very good access to the center of Barcelona (30 min.) thanks to the nearby Sant Joan train station (500m) on the S2 route (Plaza Catalunya - Sabadell).

Less space in the room after the extra bed is set up.
