We had a fantastic leisure stay, the receptionist was most welcoming on our arrival and most pleasant on our departure. Dinner last night was very relaxing, waitresses were so helpful and kind, lovely atmosphere, refreshing drinks, tasty food, the view was magical. Breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble for the friendly waitresses, service was more than efficient. We slept soundly both nights, it was so quiet and peaceful. All in all it's a wonderful hotel with large and airy bar, lobby and restaurant. Hotel bedrooms are spacious and airy also. Thank you all.

I would like new beds in the rooms and new decor in parts of the hotel perhaps.

A lovely hotel with welcoming warm staff, and a great atmosphere in the bar. Clearly the locals like this place as Saturday night was a cheerful affair with the mix of them, visitors like us and a wedding in the private function room. Our food in the bar was filling and tasty, in fact we had to take half away with us as the portions were so generous! Our room was airy and warm with adjustable heating. Free parking overlooking the bay. Breakfast was a fresh buffet with cooked food and cold food (fruits, cereals etc). Perfect visit, thanks everyone.

Everything was fine but please note that the radiators take 30 mins to adjust to a new temperature and 5 is very very warm!!

We stayed here for one night in our trip along the wild Atlantic way. The room was large but the bed far too soft for our liking. Personal preference though. Breakfast was buffet style but there was plenty of choice. There was plenty of parking and the hotel had a fitness centre although we didn’t have time to use it.

The food at dinner wasn’t great - it all seemed a bit too convenience food - deep fried and microwaved and way too salty. The hotel felt impersonal and more motel-like and really just set up for large functions.

Breakfast standard mixed buffet Dinner so fresh and always hot on arrival at table. Quite big portions so would not choose starters dinner and dessert. Location stunning, excellent local natural amenities. Town 3-5 minute walk

No sheltered outdoor smoking area for guests. It really is becoming a bugbear of mine. I am doing nothing illegal yet spend a portion of my stay in my coat outside in the elements. Not the only hotel I might add.

Rooms were large and comfortable. Staff were very friendly.

The hotel was different to what I expected - much larger and more 'corporate' - not that this in necessarily a problem, but personally would have preferred something with a bit more character. (I think I've been spoilt by some of the other places we stayed in Connemara & County Mayo which have been quirkier and had amazing views) But if that's what you want, it fits the bill - I can't fault the comfort, facilities or staff who were very friendly. We didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on the food.

The location is a 15-minute walk to the main square, and that suited me perfectly. It was so quiet at night, which aided a restful sleep. Breakfast was the usual hotel buffet but was served with a smile and a chat from the lovely Ann. All the staff were lovely and they answered my many queries. The Tidal Pool is a must if you visit. It is a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk away. I had a great stay, and I look forward to returning again.

Nothing.

The Broadhaven Hotel is situated just outside the town of Belmullet. I am a slow walker and it takes me about 20 mins to walk in and out of town. It is possible to arrange a taxi and if you are willing to take your car it is a few minutes drive. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and the staff are very approachable and willing to help. I had a comfortable stay at the hotel over Easter. I would recommend this hotel.

Geraldine and her team were amazing. We were welcomed in every interaction. The hotel was spotless. The food was amazing. There was a full vegan menu. It was worth every euro. Fabulous place to visit as a couple. There is plenty of sightseeing. Family cycling, surfing, and rock climbing. Thank you to Geraldine and her team for a fantastic visit. We hope to be back soon.
