Would definitely recommend staying at Nevins...the staff were all so friendly and helpful, the owners take the time to welcome you too which was very nice.. the breakfast was very good, served quickly, we had dinner here on both evenings which was very tasty...we stayed in the lodges the room was newly decorated and very comfortable... seating area outside was very nice....although they do provide music at the weekend so we were happy not to venture out. . We will definitely return

only con is thats its a short drive to nearest town so you would have to get taxis if you were having a night out.. obviously, this is not the owners control..

Four of us stayed in the holiday home, about 3-4 minutes drive from the the pub/restaurant/inn. It has a standard bathroom, as well as an extra toilet, handy for 4 people. We made breakfast for ourselves in the kitchen. The place is fine for 2 nights. We had dinner each evening in the restaurant. Highly recommend the lamb!

There was no key/lock to lock the toilet door, which was unfortunate. There was a key to the main bathroom. Otherwise, pretty good deal. Wi-fi very poor, you need to go to the pub. Even the internet on the phone was poor, you need to walk 50 metres up to the main road to get a good signal! Not a big deal though, you hardly come here to check your social media accounts! The heating didn't work, but it was May, so again not a big deal...

The breakfast was excellent, really tasty and piping hot. My morning cappuccino was also nice too. Well worth popping over for each morning. We stayed in the self catering cottage about 3 min drive down the road. The cottage was amazing in a lovely quiet position with a lovely view; very well equipped. It was about a 7 min drive into Mulranny. We also had evenings meals at Nevins which were fabulous! There’s even a robot bringing your food to you!

Friendly staff, beautiful location, nice pub.

Needed better black out blinds for blocking out the pub lights and triple glazed windows for the noise. Needed bigger beds as double too small. Needed to have more information on check in as didn’t give any details so had to keep asking for basics like breakfast details etc. Also self catering cottage was far away and resulted in a lot of lifts and not a safe walk along a 100km road on a night. Could have been detailed better as wouldn’t have booked if known how far it was for main pub.

A beautiful property in a stunning location. The room was very comfortable and had great views. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. They were all so lovely. The breakfast was delicious. There was a good variety. The full Irish definitely set you up for the day.. The food in the restaurant was incredible, especially the Irish stew and the burger. The adjoining pub was frequented by locals and there was a great atmosphere and sometimes live music. Will definitely be back

Warmest of welcomes at this beautiful Inn in a stunning location. Staff are warm and friendly and service very professional. Food delicious with a varied menu to suit all. Special mention to our waitress Katie who went out of her way to accommodate our requirements. The accommodation was excellent. The room was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. Bed extremely comfortable and the bedding luxurious. Highly recommend.

The Cottage was situated in a beautiful location. The beds were extremely comfortable . A Freshly cooked breakfast was available each morning . We dined with friends midweek at Nevins Inn . There was a comprehensive Dinner Menu - something for everybody adults and children alike .The Monkfish & Prawns were exceptional as was the Salmon, & Chicken Curry enjoyed by our group. We had a fantastic week made possible by a thoroughly professional , diligent & hard working Nevins team . Mayo Go Deo !!! Paul , Grainne , Finn, Tilly .

We stayed for just one night here on a road trip. I must say the rooms look nicer than in many 4 -5 ⭐ hotels. Clean, cosy, comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast in their pub downstairs and it was amazing. Lovely staff, prompt service, couldn't find fault with anything.

Our room (106) was the corner one and on the exterior wall of the building there were two huge vents coming probably from the kitchen which we found extremely noisy, and after a long journey on the day, we had trouble falling asleep...the noise did however cease around midnight when kitchen probably closed for the day resuming around 8 am next morning. If you are a light sleeper, this might be annoying.

We stayed for the weekend as we were attending a wedding in Mulranny. Nevins was fantastic, the accommodation in the lodge was amazing, it exceeded our expectations!! The rooms are newly renovated and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, freshly cooked and served to the table. We also had bar food one evening which we would definitely recommend. Thank you for great accommodation!!

Had a great stay here for one night in March as a solo bike traveler. It's in a fairly remote part of the country surrounded by quiet countryside. The room was very clean, warm, and comfortable with a modern ensuite bathroom. The two staff I spoke with at the front desk were extremely helpful, going out of their way to show me how I might get the bus nearby if I needed to, and the restaurant downstairs served a terrific variety of tasty dinner and breakfast options. I would've taken advantage of the outdoor pub space but it was a bit too cold to enjoy it properly at the time. Really appreciated my time here!

No real complaints to speak of; the only issue I had was with the price which was due to being billed for the price of two people and I was alone. This may have been a result of booking through this site and not selecting the "right" room in the process, but I don't fault the B&B for it (they actually alerted me to the issue and tried to rectify it).
