The staff made us feel very welcome despite both nights being very busy with social events. The rooms were spotless It is not an overstatement to say this place offered exceptional breakfast choice. Great quality and ample servings too. The dinner offerings were again very good quality. When travelling we generally prefer to eat dinner at restaurants outside our accommodation but we made an exception to eat both nights in Nevins. Lots of pubs now calling themselves Gastro Pubs but Nevins lives up to this billing Staff were very attentive and we got a table very quickly on Saturday when it was full. I suspect John the manager may have accommodated us quicker when he noticed we were resident at the property.

There is a busy road outside and it’s not in a location you might like to go for a walk. It’s out of town.

The location is brilliant and its really peaceful even with the pub downstairs. The room was massive and the bathroom was big too. The best part was the late check in as we were on a costal drive of Ireland, we arrived quite late and the staff were really helpful for everything. We did communicate the late checkin beforehand which made the experience smooth and hassle free. Will defiantly visit the place again. Plenty to explore as the property is in a very scenic location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nevins. It was very clean and the staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful and the owner made sure to welcome us and make sure we were enjoying our stay-he even met us before we left and thanked us for our custom. The breakfast was delicious as was the dinner and even though it was very busy the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

We have no negative comments to make about Nevins.

Would definitely recommend staying at Nevins...the staff were all so friendly and helpful, the owners take the time to welcome you too which was very nice.. the breakfast was very good, served quickly, we had dinner here on both evenings which was very tasty...we stayed in the lodges the room was newly decorated and very comfortable... seating area outside was very nice....although they do provide music at the weekend so we were happy not to venture out. . We will definitely return

only con is thats its a short drive to nearest town so you would have to get taxis if you were having a night out.. obviously, this is not the owners control..

Four of us stayed in the holiday home, about 3-4 minutes drive from the the pub/restaurant/inn. It has a standard bathroom, as well as an extra toilet, handy for 4 people. We made breakfast for ourselves in the kitchen. The place is fine for 2 nights. We had dinner each evening in the restaurant. Highly recommend the lamb!

There was no key/lock to lock the toilet door, which was unfortunate. There was a key to the main bathroom. Otherwise, pretty good deal. Wi-fi very poor, you need to go to the pub. Even the internet on the phone was poor, you need to walk 50 metres up to the main road to get a good signal! Not a big deal though, you hardly come here to check your social media accounts! The heating didn't work, but it was May, so again not a big deal...

We stayed in one of the two rooms in the lodge next door to the main hotel. The room was spacious, clean and the decor was of a very high standard. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was simply delicious. We only wish our stay was for longer. We would return in a heartbeat as it is a beautiful part of the country

Nothing, even the wet weather on our last day wasn't enough to dampen our spirits.

We stayed in a house that is currently being rented by Nevins and is about 400 yards down the road. it was a beautiful house, clean and a perfect location as you can see the sea from inside the property.

I didn’t like that the house was not walkable from the main restaurant/bar. Not for the distance but because the main road does not have a footpath and cars drive fairly quick down there.

The wife and I were attending a wedding with the hotel fully booked we were so lucky to find this gem of a place. John and his staff were so helpful and friendly we couldn’t have asked for more. The front bar is so cosy with an open fire and the locals more than happy to have a chat. The place is absolutely spotless from top to bottom and the food is top notch. The room we stayed in was very modern and super cosy, brilliant value for money.

The breakfast was excellent, really tasty and piping hot. My morning cappuccino was also nice too. Well worth popping over for each morning. We stayed in the self catering cottage about 3 min drive down the road. The cottage was amazing in a lovely quiet position with a lovely view; very well equipped. It was about a 7 min drive into Mulranny. We also had evenings meals at Nevins which were fabulous! There’s even a robot bringing your food to you!

Nothing had a really great time.

A beautiful property in a stunning location. The room was very comfortable and had great views. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. They were all so lovely. The breakfast was delicious. There was a good variety. The full Irish definitely set you up for the day.. The food in the restaurant was incredible, especially the Irish stew and the burger. The adjoining pub was frequented by locals and there was a great atmosphere and sometimes live music. Will definitely be back
