The bed was so comfy. Best night sleep on our trip. The room is reasonable in size with also a reasonable sized bathroom. Very clean. The breakfast was very nice with lots of options and the host was very friendly. There was parking on the property which is always good. The property is in a quiet lane outside town but only 10 min from restaurants etc.

The bedroom whilst it didn’t have a television had access to a good sized sitting room if you wished to watch.

We travelled as a group of four. We all had a wonderful stay in Lurgan House B&B. Christina and Gerard are excellent hosts. Very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious especially Christina's freshly baked scones. Such a treat! Lurgan House B&B deserves 10 out of 10! Thank you!

We have no complaints only that we had to leave to return home. We definitely would recommend Westport and surrounding area for a visit made even more enjoyable by staying in Lurgan House.

We loved everything about Lurgan House. The location just outside the center of town but within easy walking distance along the Greenway was perfect. The sheep outside the front door were very special! The home is beautiful, warm and comfortable with plenty of space in the room and shared space in a living room for guests. Ina and Gerry are wonderful hosts and could not have been more charming and attentive. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of fresh fruit and the pancakes were a welcome break from lots of traditional Irish breakfasts including eggs!

There's not a thing not to like about Lurgan House. It is traditional Irish hospitality at its best in every way.

The Lurgan House is a beautiful house with the feel of home. Ena was so welcoming and her breakfasts are the best. The scones, oh the scones. I ate three in one sitting they were so good. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable in a lovely setting.

We liked it all. The one thing was that it was a little walk to town without sidewalks but we had a car so no problem. There really wasn't anything we didn't like.

This beautiful house is spotless and very homely, with a great view of Croagh Patrick from the Mountain View 3 bed room. There’s a beautiful garden, shower gel dispenser in the en suite hot shower and very comfortable beds. Easy walking routes in to town or beyond and the breakfast was superb, saving us most mornings! Ina and Gerry made our trip really memorable. They are brilliant hosts and even better people, would not hesitate to stay here again next time I’m in Westport. Thank you for a fantastic weekend from all three of us!

Hospitality from the owners was exceptional. I was travelling alone but I felt like I was staying with family, so welcoming. Room was beautiful with own ensuite.

The property is within walking distance from the town (about 20 mins), but no street lighting once you leave town for some of the walk. It's still very handy, but would recommend a taxi if having a drink and staying later in town if its dark.

Even before we left home Christina was the vest hostess. She worked with me so a birthday package would arrive before we did. Then on sight she was super nice. The breakfasts were by far the best we had on the entire trip. She offered to drive us to town. Totally recommend staying here you WILL be treated like welcome family.

There is nothing we didnt like. Everything was perfect

It was a beautiful B&B, very peaceful, and we felt at home. The hosts were wonderful and made it a point to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious and made to order by the host, and we had access to a comfortable living area to enjoy wine and watch the rugby World Cup.

The only complaint was the twin room beds were very hard, but it’s somewhat normal for european hotels/B&B’s.

Not an issue, just a heads up...our wonderful pivate bathroom was just across the hall, so not directly connected to the bedroom. Not a problem for us, just remember to bring all your clothes/ toiletries with you :) I think most of the other rooms are ensuite though.

Amazing hosts, clean comfortable room which was tastefully done. The bed is the comfiest and fresh breakfast is cherry on the cake. I will always remember hospitality of the hosts who were generous with their time, tips and great recommendations. If you get a chance, definitely stay ! :)
