The place the room was fabulous 👌

My room being locked at 11.20 while I went for breakfast, at 10.55, then be told that we had to check out that's why it was locked, even tho check out wasn't until 12.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The gym is well-equipped but could do with a little heating at this time of year, especially in the early morning.

The breakfast could be better. The scrambled egg is rubbery and the fried eggs are slimy (sorry to have to say). Perhaps add boiled eggs to the selection? And add options for people who prefer to avoid carbohydrates at breakfast, such as cold meats (in addition to the smoked salmon).

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Every meal we had—whether it was breakfast, dishes from the Mulberry Restaurant, or casual bar food—was absolutely delicious. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the rooms spotless. Summer activities were a highlight, with something for everyone to enjoy. The restaurant and lounge feature tasteful, inviting decor that adds to the relaxed ambiance. The spa and pool area is serene and beautifully maintained. We especially appreciated the resort’s thoughtful sustainability efforts, including a charming chicken coop and a flourishing vegetable garden. Outdoor facilities are just as impressive, with crazy golf, a fun playground, and scenic forest walking paths that invite exploration

Large property set in beautiful location. Amazing breakfast with great variety.

Sadly woken at 8.30am on first morning with very loud drilling due to work being carried out in the property. 8 month old grandson was unable to sleep during the day in room as drilling was horrendous and continued during the day. Leisure pool, baby pool and changing rooms were freezing, especially baby pool. Was far too cold for baby’s and infants. Due to a second day wedding party booking out a large section of seating area we were unable to access a quiet seating area and had to sit in a bar with very loud music on first evening. Not suitable with young children. Reception area full due to other residents looking a quiet area to sit and relax.

Beautiful building & grounds & really friendly helpful staff- went out of their way to make customers happy. Lovely buffet breakfast & hot dishes cooked to order for breakfast - I tried the waffles one morning (😋) dinner in the hotel bar was fabulous also! Lots of things to do for younger kids - we swam everyday & played crazy golf & walkies their mapped out property walks!

Didn't realise that they don't service the room unless you request it outside your door in the mornings - so had to ask separately for fresh tea/coffee & cups. You definitely need a car unless you don't plan on leaving the resort- it's a good 10mins drive outside the town!

Superb stay with lovely hotel set in acres of well maintained parkland. Staff were super helpful, spa facilities were excellent and the food is some of the best you will encounter in aa reasonably priced wellness-hotel. Chefs both evening and morning really know what they are doing, sympathetic use of fresh ingredients and nothing processed or brought in pre-made or in packets. Bravo.

Steam room and Sauna area could do with separate open-shower area. Little point in insisting on all patrons wearing a swim hat for hygiene if sweaty steam/sauna patrons then dive straight into the Pool or jump in Jacuzzi without trudging all the way back to the changing room showers to freshen up. Jacuzzi also very cool temperature = heating broken?

We were upgraded to a wedding suite as it was our anniversary. The room was amazing it had a beautiful bathroom and a spacious bedroom area.The staff in the hotel were so lovely from check-in to check out.The leisure centre was very nice it wasn't too busy .We had beautiful food in the bar in the evening .The weather was so warm we sat outside and had a few drinks while listening to music.The atmosphere was lovely everyone was enjoying the hotel.The service at the hotel at breakfast time was so good also and the food is of high quality. We loved our stay and we will book again.

We should have booked two nights!

We stayed for a family function, other family living in the area. I’ve stayed a many hotels worldwide and this ranks up among the best of them, their staff being the best. Mairead you are a superstar! What a beautiful setting, absolutely stunning views both inside and out. Magnificent food, all of our party agreed-as did our local family members. The afternoon tea was absolutely superb. We all loved the pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. My husband tried out the gym, which he said was good, but none of us had any time for spa treatments. For those who felt their rooms were too warm-all you need to do is open the windows and the temperature is perfect. I cannot say enough good about the staff-they really make the place the best. Every staff member we interacted with was most friendly, welcoming and helpful. We will be back!

I honestly say we loved everything but leaving!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel during our trip to Mayo! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home from the start. Our room was spotless and the beds were super comfortable—exactly what we needed after a long day of exploring. The leisure centre was a great bonus too—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a bit of relaxation. The only downside for us was the food at the bar. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations—bland and lacking in flavour, which was a bit of a letdown compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, but we’d probably skip the bar food next time.

Safe , hospitably top class from every dept . Mairead duty manager - so so helpful , Adrian also very chatty and breakfast so plenty full and food to suit everyone ( we even stayed with a child with eating disorder) the variety and selection for breakfast meant it suited everyone . We are a large family and finding one room for all of us was a blessing in disguise. Beds for so comfy , spacious rooms, leisure staff very friendly and so were accommodation, front desk have great knowledge and teamwork is evident throughout the resort .the food in the bar was delicious and everyone had something to eat different so suited all Ages. The grounds of the hotel so vast I hope to go back again to explore more. It prob the on my place I’ve stayed as a carer that I’ve felt relaxed.
