Excellent location, great food , staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for the guests. Rooms are very spacious, bed so comfortable

There was a very noisy fan on the roof outside our window, coming from tbe kitchen i think.. The room was very warm and had no air-conditioning and we had to open the window for air, the fan was running from 10 30 in the morning till 11.30 at night. It was difficult to sleep with the noise. Our room number was 102

Breakfast was really nice, lots of choice. The location of this hotel is excellent - everything is within walking distance which is so important when only there for one night. Special mention to receptionist Raphella who sorted out a small issue I had with my room on checking in and moved me to another with no fuss. Had another nice chat with her on Saturday morning when going down to breakfast. Friendly and helpful - all you look for in front of house staff and she is a credit to the hotel.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean. We especially liked the armchairs which were ideal for senior citizens. Great bathroom and lots of hot water for showers.

Having stayed in the Wyatt several times and enjoyed the food we were a bit disappointed with breakfast. As we don't eat black or white pudding we ended up with small helpings and the eggs were not freshly cooked. Would have expected better breakfast variety eg cold meats and cheese.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Westport. Car park full on arrival and the receptionist said not to park on road as residents would not happy, which I understand. We were directed to the local SuperValu for free parking. Room was very comfy and clean. Only quibble was at breakfast, despite informing The Wyatt twice that I was vegan, once beforehand via email and on arrival, breakfast was a bit of a nightmare. On arrival the receptionist did ask if I wanted faux vegan products as they would go out and buy them but I don't eat that sort of processed stuff. Just some decent veg and bread would have been nice. Hey ho.

Breakfast

Location was perfect, right in the heart of town - walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes. The room was quite big with a very comfortable bed. Staff we encountered (particularly in restaurant, front desk and breakfast) were excellent.

Bathroom design a little awkward, but it still worked well enough. Breakfast was just okay. In fairness, the other properties we stayed at during our trip had phenomenal breakfasts, so this one had a very high bar to measure up to. It was my least favourite of all the breakfasts on our trip (found it to be greasy) and with a poorer selection of homemade goods than other properties we stayed at. Overall though, a very good experience and the things I didn’t like didn’t overly affect our enjoyment of the property.

It was a very well run hotel. All the staff were excellent, very friendly and professional. The room we had was comfortable if a little small. The hotel is bang in the middle of everything which was great as there are loads of bars and restaurants. We found out late but there is a facility to use a local swimming pool for free. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff very quick, friendly and efficient.

Originally our room was quite dark and a bit stuffy at the back of the hotel we did ask for another room which was arranged.

The Wyatt is perfectly situated to enjoy the best of Westport and stay out as long as the pubs are open as it's a short stagger back to the hotel. And then, the morning after, you can sit outside the hotel sipping a coffee and looking on at the passers-by around the Octagon, take a stroll around town for a bit of shopping, or turn right outside the hotel and nip into the tranquility of Westport House. Rooms were more spacious and more modern and comfortable than I was expecting and the team at reception were charming and super helpful.

Give me a four people room for two people. Then another four people room for the other two people. Did not give parking info, we have to go back and ask and get prepare ourself. Will not recommend any local restaurants and ask us to just eat in the hotel. I ask “Do you recommend any local restaurants around here?” The hotel answer: “No, we don’t recommend any”. I am like really??? Pretty strange :) Location is great but the woman who check us in is really strange. Also charge my credit card twice instead of once … mmmmm

The staff were friendly and helpful but I specifically want to mention Kevin, the breakfast manager. I was aware that breakfast didn't start until 730 but we needed to leave the hotel about this time for a flight. Kevin advised that if we came down after 7am he would ensure that we could at least have a basic breakfast. We had juice, cereal, pastries and hot drinks. We were so appreciative of his efforts, he could so easily have declined our request. On the subject of breakfast I thought that breakfast staff were very efficient.

We were in room 206 and there was a noisy fan on sometimes (think it was from the kitchen).

The hotel's location is perfect for relaxing, whether you're staying for a long or short time in Westport. All amenities are within walking distance, making it convenient if you're enjoying a night out with a couple of drinks after dinner. Very pleased with the room, spotless double deluxe, bed so comfortable, didn't want to get up in the morning. Breakfast was delightful, a very big selection to choose from, continental or cooked breakfast. Thank you so much to all the staff who made our stay delightful.
