The hotel is very close to the city center. It has a very nice internal court with restaurants, so you can eat or drink outside being close to the hotel. Below the court there is a large covered parking, so you can park your car at the hotel. Staff is nice and welcoming. Our room was big, with 2 beds. The bathroom was big and clean. There was a very good wifi connection. The staff was coming 2 times each day to check the room, and in the afternoon they were leaving small chocolate (very appreciated). We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, it was good. We had also dinner once in the hotel restaurant and it was good as well. Overall the hotel is very good.

In our room we had 2 beds. They were big enough so we slept together in one bed, however they were not really big, compared to other larger bed I had in other hotels, and they felt a bit short for me. I can't say they were not good, as the beds were of course very good quality, but I was not fully comfortable when sleeping.

The facility was greatly located and we appreciate the free parking on-site. The breakfast was an added bonus! We had an issue with our first room, and staff were so quick to respond and switch our room. We were really impressed with the customer service. All the staff were absolutely lovely!

Unfortunately, as many have stated in other reviews, the building is very warm, including the rooms. They do provide a fan to help cool down the room, but it still is very warm. Unfortunately, in Europe, AC isn't something they have because temperatures never get that high, so we understood that we just had to accept the fact. It was fine, and not horrible.

The hotel was excellent location. Very clean. Very well looked after both inside and outside. Thr breakfast was very very good. No complaints about the hotel at all. Would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately the one thing that let it down was the staff. Some could have been friendlier in general, however, our check-in experience with Adrianna let it all down. She was rude, not at all friendly or polite when speaking to us. When we asked her questions about the town and places to go or see she couldn't be really be bothered to tell us. She provided no to little information, no directions or anything. If it wasn't for our experience with Adrianna it would have been amazing in every aspect. I would absolutely stay again. However if Adrianna was on check-in I would wait for another member of staff!!

We had a four-poster bed, which was a touch of extra luxury, and it was 6 foot wide. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast choice was broad and varied with all the classics you'd expect from an Irish hotel breakfast, and delicious. We loved the various artwork around the hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly at all times at all interactions. Great location, just a 3 minute walk to the main street. My husband loved the Japanese style toilet.

Nothing to dislike. If I was being picky, just the cold call a few days before my reservation to confirm we were still coming, from an unregistered number was unnecessary. If that has to be done, it should be a registered number.

We enjoyed just about everything about the hotel. Breakfast was great. You order the main course and have yogurts, cereals, fruit and pastries to choose from. Great start to the day. We ate at Porto one evening. We enjoyed our dinner and our server, Shane, was great. We had a beautiful carved four poster bed with lovely bed linens and very comfy bed and great robes. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel is also in a great location, close to shopping, pubs and restaurants.

The towels could be better. They just were not the quality you expect with everything else offered. The car park is not great. Parking is located underground and the only access is outside and down a stairway. The parking places are very tight so it is difficult to park. If it is raining you have to cross the driveway and maneuver the stairs. Handicapped individuals and older people would not find parking easy. Valet parking was not offered to us.

The hotel 's location is perfect for Westport and also conveniently located for any place you want to explore in beautiful county Mayo. The staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. We had a lovely room with a fourposter bed, the room was pristine. Breakfast was cooked on demand and the food was really of good quality. We did not use the restaurant so we cannot comment on the lunch/ dinner but if it is anything like the breakfast- it will be amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. PS. The mattress is the best one I have EVER experienced in a hotel. So comfortable, I even asked for the brand so that I can buy one for my home.

It's a beautiful hotel, very luxurious. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast was great, staff on the ball. We had dinner in mays bistro and it was 10/10. Very chilled, loads of places to sit and have a coffee and relax. We loved the courtyard with the coffee van. The staff were all nice. There's so many. You're never waiting, like most places. I'd definitely go back.

The room. Well the view actually. The window was completely blocked by a roof, which is right up against the window. I'm a bit claustrophobic, so this spoiled the experience a bit for me. Especially as we were staying 2 days. So, make sure you're not in room 148.

Everything, from the moment we checked in, everything was really fantastic, the ladies at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and spacious and the bed was sooooooo comfy. We ordered room service and it was so tasty, so good in fact we needed up ordering it again the next night. I also got to try the spa while I was there and had an abuhyangha massage with Amber and she was so amazing, literally felt like she has ten hands. Gorgeous hotel for anyone to visit, Would definitely come back for a visit again.

Excellent welcome, friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much when asking staff for directions, a shirt press (at the 11th hour) or an umbrella. Lovely hotel. One minor downside was the gym, which could do with being a bit bigger. Opening times at the weekend were also not ideal.

There was nothing I didn’t like, but the gym facility was too small and seemed like an afterthought. Think that could be improved. Opening times (morning) we’re not great.

I loved everything about the hotel. The decor was lovely, the reception areas and all the fresh flowers. The outside sitting area was amazing and loved the coffee truck. The staff were so friendly and helpful even the housekeeping staff were greeting us as we arrived on our floor. The fridge and fresh water in the room - excellent. The staff obviously are treated well and you can tell as they are so efficient and helpful. One of them actually mentioned that it was a great place to work. Breakfast was varied and excellent. The beds are so comfortable with pillow top mattresses. Dinner in the Bar was also exceptional and great value.

Honestly, there was nothing I could fault or that I didn't like.
