The location is spectacular. We had lovely weather so we woke up to sunny skies, mountain & sea views that were beautiful. The staff from reception to bar/restaurant are all very warm, friendly & accommodating, going out of their way to make sure our stay was very special. As I was travelling with my elderly parents, this meant a lot & I know they enjoyed the trip immensely.Loved the old world feel of hotel.Loved the couches beside the fireplaces.Very comfortable.Food in both bar & restaurant were very good.A special mention to the very friendly staff member at leisure centre reception.
Strength of coffee could be a bit stronger at breakfast. Also,a very small thing but maybe a coffee pod machine in rooms would be a nice extra.Besides the coffee we loved everything else.

This is a nice hotel looking out over the bay and Croagh Patrick in the distance. A lovely area to visit with great scenery and walks from the doorstep. I've stayed before and like both the hotel and atmosphere. Staff are good and I've found the front desk staff great. A nice menu and quality of food was good. Terrace style seating at the sides of the front door has unrivaled views on a sunny evening. It's worth stopping for if passing.
The spa shower area needs a little attention.

We stayed in apartment with great view of sea, great breakfast - full irish, we loved fruit & porridge options as well and were facilitated with alternative milk for coffee, staff in hotel very welcoming and helpful, we ate two nights in hotel bar with snacks one evening and full dinner another night -good options for both, we really enjoyed our food in a very relaxed atmosphere, the pool and leisure centre are great - we really enjoyed time in same, would recommend the hotel, great walks from hotel
We were pretty happy with hotel overall

Our room was wonderful - spacious and complete with a tee-pee for the children, they thought it was magical. The bathroom was bright and clean, with plenty of fresh linen. There was also a small platter laid on to acknowledge my wife's birthday, which was very much appreciated. The pool was great, though the changing rooms were very warm! The breakfast was first class, especially the mushrooms!! Finally, the view from the hotel was amazing - we hope to be back in better weather to enjoy it all even more.
The changing rooms for the pool were very warm, although the children definitely didn't mind this. Also, the need to purchase and wear a swimming cap felt a bit unnecessary, although we're aware this seems to be common practice among many hotels. Small grumbles against an otherwise memorable stay.

Love the staff , comfortable rooms , great breakfast .
I love lap swimming . There was no supervision of zillion kids in the pool including the one lane for swimmers . Also to get to the sauna the people had to cross the lane I was trying to swim in .?Impossible for me to enjoy . The dinner in the bar was atrocious . This was our third stay in this hotel and the bar food was just as bad on previous stays .

I've been wanting to stay in this hotel ever since I first visited the area. It's located in a very scenic spot, some of the rooms facing the beach and the ocean. We were given a room upgrade and had a delightful stay. Very relaxing atmosphere, close to Achill and Westport and other Mayo gems. Good breakfast, very helpful staff

The pool is in great condition and was great for some down time. The corridors are well decorated . The room was in good condition but would benefit from mounting the televisions on the wall and removing the desk it was on to improve functionality and space of the room. The bathroom was brand new and very nice. Views of Clew Bay are sensational . Breakfast was served buffet style in the restaurant, which was tasty.
The food in the bar was overpriced (which is a recurring theme in the west of Ireland based on our trip). Standard pub food at approx €22 per meal for a main with a soft drink, which is as if not more expensive than Dublin. The pub decor and furniture needs to be updated, but the hotel had signs to say that refurb works were ongoing throughout the hotel, so I guess it will happen in time.

Breakfast and bar food was very good. Staff were very friendly providing great service. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful towards children providing picture and colouring markers to my niece to colour in when having bar food. Location was great for going on the greenway, only about 50 minute drive to Belmullet where I went on two tours of Erris head and Blacksod and only half an hour from Westport where I went to Westport House.
There was nothing I could say regarding any faults. Everything was great regarding hotel location, facilities, the views and location.

Great stay, great view lovely style and decor. Kids loved it great breakfast and bar food, lovely swimming pool and facilities. Overall just what we needed
I highly recommend these apartments for their incredible views. To enhance the already wonderful experience, would suggest placing a bit more priority and effort on keeping the patio doors sparkling clean. This small enhancement would make the spectacular views even more enjoyable.

Very frenedly atmosphere in the hotel. Staff were very polite and very helpful. Everything we needed was catered for. Being so near Mulranny beach was a bonus for that early morning sea swim if that is your thing! Breakfast was lovely and the retro charm of the hotel and the views just added to the experience. Had a lovely seaweed bath; with bubbles as a Valentines Day treat for my hubby; followed by a hot stone massage. It was great... so relaxing. Felt great after the weekend of fresh air and relaxation.
The window in the room could have been bigger so we could have more of that amazing sea view! It was not the same as the room advertised on the picture when I selected the room when booking; so that was a disappointment.
