Quiet location with big beds in a big room, good bathroom facilities, friendly staff. Good breakfast too. Plenty of choice with freshly cooked eggs and pancakes.

The room on our second day was not presented as well as it was on our arrival. The beds were carelessly made up, they were left looking lumpy and the red covers weren't replaced across the foot of the beds. They were both thrown on the middle of one of the beds. A disappointment when we arrived back to the room on our second day. Also, there were no biscuits on the second day. A small detail that lets the hotel down. If we pay for 2 nights it's fair to expect that the standard of the room on the second day is the same as it is on the first. Not 4 Star hotel standard.

The noise from the room above us kept us awake most of the night on our first night you could clearly hear people moving around, talking laughing, giving out at some points moving furniture, sounded like there was a bit of party going on up there as if the were right beside us so that that kinda ruined our stay the first night in that respect they obviously checked out next day because we slept like babies following night 😁but besides that georgeous hotel friendly staff and great location hotel is stunning beds are amazing pillows heavenly couldnt fault the bed, shower was luxury didn't want to come out of it and could take 3 ppl at a time easily, so overall would definetly recommend

Spacious and comfortable room, very quiet, ideal for a good nights sleep. Excellent cooked breakfast, but pays to get there early if any coach tours are staying at the same time. Free use of the Leisure Centre which has excellent facilities and very clean. Good size carpark.

No specific footpath from carpark to entrance so vehicles and pedestrians are dodging each other. Grouting on bathroom tiles was grimy and black at the edge of the bath/ shower, could do with more vigorous cleaning or re-grouting. Only one lift with small dimensions that can prove difficult depending what luggage you're carrying.

Visited between 4th and 7th of October 2024 for a family. Everything was great - very comfortable room and great self-service breakfast set in a beautiful room with view of the woods. Approx 20 minute walk into Westport itself or down to the quay but this is hilly both ways so a taxi recommended if you're not so good on your feet. This isn't expensive. The Guinness is of a good standard. Cash and card taken at the bar, with often card only later in the evening.

Nothing I can think of - bar prices fairly typical for a hotel of this type.

We found the room good for our needs,as my wife is partially disabled,the layout in the room was ideal,it was warm and comfortable and clean.when we arrived the receptionist saw my wife's condition and immediately changed our room to a ground floor 1. I thought she was very professional as I hadn,t asked for this.all the staff were brilliant and very helpfull..the good was very good and well served.I had 8 years experience as catering manager in a 200.bedroom hotel in the Isle Of Man so I have a fair idea of what to expect.my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer due to other commitments but we really enjoyed our stay and will be using your Hotel again in the near future..Kieran&Mary.Austin.👍👍👍👍👍.

This isn't a negative comment,and I Know times are not easy in the tourist industry but to stay competitive you may wish to consider a bolder colour scheme in the reception area! First impressions are important and today's tourists have been around? Thanks .

The breakfast was all you could desire to start your day. A lovely scenic location with lovely walks. The room was spacious with two full size queen beds and perfect luxurious blackout curtains to allow for morning lie on to complete your relaxation break.

There could have been information available in the room re breakfast and dinner arrangements or contact info for the front desk to book spa treatments or organise a taxi for travelling into town.

The friendly welcome was a great start after a long journey. Our room was clean and comfortable. Delicious meal and good Guiness served in the bar by courteous staff. Refreshing spa. Vibrant town and interesting, historical quay, both within walking distance from the hotel. We have stayed here before and will, hopefully, be staying again.

The location is perfect, between Westport town and the harbour. Within walking distance of both. The hotel itself is fine. Spa was a lovely treat!

Restaurant and food was basic. Top floor became very very warm.

Staff were fantastic, food was great, bar was good fun. Swimming pool was excellent. Always willing to help. Good location, easy to park.

Some parts are a bit old fashioned. Front door should be electric so that you can walk through with suitcases easy. In the bar I caused a panic by asking for a cocktail. I would recommend making the cocktails Daquiri and Pisco Sour.
