We enjoyed just about everything about the hotel. Breakfast was great. You order the main course and have yogurts, cereals, fruit and pastries to choose from. Great start to the day. We ate at Porto one evening. We enjoyed our dinner and our server, Shane, was great. We had a beautiful carved four poster bed with lovely bed linens and very comfy bed and great robes. The shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel is also in a great location, close to shopping, pubs and restaurants.

The towels could be better. They just were not the quality you expect with everything else offered. The car park is not great. Parking is located underground and the only access is outside and down a stairway. The parking places are very tight so it is difficult to park. If it is raining you have to cross the driveway and maneuver the stairs. Handicapped individuals and older people would not find parking easy. Valet parking was not offered to us.

The hotel 's location is perfect for Westport and also conveniently located for any place you want to explore in beautiful county Mayo. The staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. We had a lovely room with a fourposter bed, the room was pristine. Breakfast was cooked on demand and the food was really of good quality. We did not use the restaurant so we cannot comment on the lunch/ dinner but if it is anything like the breakfast- it will be amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. PS. The mattress is the best one I have EVER experienced in a hotel. So comfortable, I even asked for the brand so that I can buy one for my home.

It's a beautiful hotel, very luxurious. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast was great, staff on the ball. We had dinner in mays bistro and it was 10/10. Very chilled, loads of places to sit and have a coffee and relax. We loved the courtyard with the coffee van. The staff were all nice. There's so many. You're never waiting, like most places. I'd definitely go back.

The room. Well the view actually. The window was completely blocked by a roof, which is right up against the window. I'm a bit claustrophobic, so this spoiled the experience a bit for me. Especially as we were staying 2 days. So, make sure you're not in room 148.

Everything, from the moment we checked in, everything was really fantastic, the ladies at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and spacious and the bed was sooooooo comfy. We ordered room service and it was so tasty, so good in fact we needed up ordering it again the next night. I also got to try the spa while I was there and had an abuhyangha massage with Amber and she was so amazing, literally felt like she has ten hands. Gorgeous hotel for anyone to visit, Would definitely come back for a visit again.

Honestly, nothing.

I loved everything about the hotel. The decor was lovely, the reception areas and all the fresh flowers. The outside sitting area was amazing and loved the coffee truck. The staff were so friendly and helpful even the housekeeping staff were greeting us as we arrived on our floor. The fridge and fresh water in the room - excellent. The staff obviously are treated well and you can tell as they are so efficient and helpful. One of them actually mentioned that it was a great place to work. Breakfast was varied and excellent. The beds are so comfortable with pillow top mattresses. Dinner in the Bar was also exceptional and great value.

Honestly, there was nothing I could fault or that I didn't like.

Beautiful rooms. Friendly staff in hotel. Lovely atmosphere in bar. Great entertainment.

Terminal suit limited. Staff in spa not great - cleaner was cleaning the relaxation room loudly (in and out, changing bins, etc.). Then they turned off the music as a sign to leave - we were the last slot of the night for massages and went to the relaxation room after, as per our therapists instructions. We were not told we would only have a few mins. Found the experience quite rude and lacking from a 4 star spa.

Breakfast and dinner in the Portos restaurant was very good and service was excellent. We really enjoyed the spa and the swimming pool. The hotel surprised us with a card and chocolates for our anniversary and updated our room, which was really nice. It's a very well managed hotel and the facilities and the location are great, we highly recommend it.

It was a little noisy during two of our nights there, due to a group of guests being loud until morning.

Great hotel and location. Pleasant staff. Added bonus of breakfast and pool / gym facilities included. Was really nice to sit around the courtyard for a drink before dinner which had a nice atmosphere. Food in May's Bistro was 10/10 for us. Had a great selection for all tastes.

We were informed check-in was not until 4pm. Luckily this wasn't an issue for us as we walked around Westport for a bit and got lunch. A major plus was that the hotel called to say our room was ready well over an hour and half earlier then expected.

Loved our stay here. Underground parking which was ideal since it snowed quite heavily in the night! We had a gorgeous room on the 3rd floor, spacious and wonderfully light and clean. Plenty of USB chargers and plug sockets (very important for my husband, less so for me the technophobe!). It was our first wedding anniversary and we arrived to a little box of chocs and a card, which was super sweet. The shower was AMAZING - I'd happily stay there again just to use that instead of the awful thing we have at home!! Literally couldn't fault the place. The staff were lovely, the bar was nice, clean and friendly staff again. Breakfast was busy but had plenty of stuff to eat (which was much needed after celebrating a bit too much during the evening before), they even had a fully gluten free option for the Full Irish breakfast which was a massive bonus for me.

The only thing for me was that finding the car park and then how to get out once I'd found it was a bit tricky to know exactly where it was. There was (as far as we could see) only one small sign pointing in the direction of a car park. Regarding the underground carpark, don't go in there if you have an issue with tricky maneuvers with pillars or have a massive car as it can be a bit snug but if you're ok with them (which I was, after shouting through the windows at my husband to help me!) then that's grand. But other than that nothing at all was amiss at all.

It was superb. The hotel had an upmarket feel with impressive décor and ample car parking space. The room was very clean, very modern and very comfortable. The breakfast in the Porto Restaurant was superb - there was great choice from the buffet plus a great selection of cooked food on the menu. The leisure centre was excellent too - it had very clean facilities, a great steam room, sauna, hot spa pool and swimming pool. The hotel was in central Westport with shops, restaurants and bars less than 5 minutes walk away. I would love to return...

I have been thinking a lot but I cannot fault anything. The Hotel, Spa & Leisure was superb. I did not use all the facilities (e.g. gym, Spa) so I cannot comment on those but the facilities I used were excellent.
