The most beautiful stay in Ireland. The host is very friendly and morning breakfast is really good. I wish I could have stayed for longer. The property is at seaside and you can go hiking nearby. It is a 10min drive away from the town so you should definitely get a car.

The direction to get there can be a bit confusing.

Fantastic location overlooking the islands in the bay. Good sized room and en-suite bathroom with reasonable walk-in shower. Our room even had a balcony which we didn't expect. The cooked breakfast was really nice and plentiful. Cereals, fruit, yoghurt and cheese was also available. We had access to a fridge too (not in the room). We particularly enjoyed the walk out from the accommodation across the causeway over to the islands. We even saw a sea otter on our way back! It's a great location for exploring the Wild Nephin National Park to the North, and the Connemara to the South. And of course there in Westport just down the road for excellent evening dining and entertainment. Carol made us feel very welcome and we'd love to return again some day.

Our room had a queen size bed and we would have preferred a king. A nearby property does obscure some of the view from the room.

The home is very secluded and quite far from amenities. But it is very tranquil and overlooks a bay and the beautiful countryside. It is close to the Greenway, which is a lovely biking path separated from the road, which my brother and I used to get from Westport to Seapoint House. It was such an enjoyable ride. Carol, our host, and her son Joseph, were super hosts and took great care of us sharing useful and delightful historical information about the area, and all about things to do nearby and in Westport. When we wanted to go into town, but were not up to a round trip cycle, Joseph drove us into town and then we got a taxi back, which was super helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Maybe have additional water in the room and an option of mugs for tea or coffee.

Carol was most welcoming and helpful. She was very knowledgeable about places to visit and eat It's a wonderful location and we had double aspect views from our bedroom windows. Great to have fridge facilities to keep our perishables overnight.

We had some difficulty locating the house however when I phoned, Carol was most helpful in direction us.. Better signage and description e g. near the GAA grounds, would have been helpful. As my husband and I have mobility issues, it was unfortunate there were no downstairs bedrooms and the stairs were very steep.

Seapoint House is tucked away by the shore of Clew Bay near the town of Westport. Our host graciously greeted us at check in and gave us a short explanation of the area and a description of a highly recommended walk to one of the many islands in the bay. The view from our comfortable room was lovely, the room was comfy and roomy. There were a wide variety of delicious choices for breakfast, from cereals, fruits, and soda bread full Irish Breakfast, Everything about our stay was wonderful.

Extensive and high quality breakfast with great selection. Carol was happy to accommodate a variety of concerns including one person who was low gluten and two children. Amazing scones and irish soda bread fresh from the oven, gorgeous smoked salmon, local butcher sausages and fresh yoghurt were some of the things we enjoyed. The rooms were comfortable and very quiet (as is the location). Walk out the door and you're on a very quiet local road with gorgeous views of fields and bay.

It was perfect -- nothing to not like. You do need a car or taxi to get around as it's about 15 minutes drive from town.

Everything!! From the host to the location to the services, everything was perfect! It was the perfect getaway for me and my partner and it was her birthday! Carol made sure that we had the best experience and also told us so many things about the places nearby and explained us everything on the map! She’s just awesome!❤️ Would 1000% recommend this if you wanna connect with nature closely!😍

Everything about Seapoint House was first class, the house. the bedroom and the breakfast were everything you could wish for on a break. The location deserves a separate mention, it's spectacular and I could have looked at it all day! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at Seapoint House and hope that we get the chance to stay again on our next visit to S. Ireland

Seapoint Hiouse is in such a beautiful location; both tranquil and atmospheric. Claire & her family were so hospitable with their friendliness & assistance. Every effort was made to accommodate our requests. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending this property & hope to return someday.

There was nothing to dislike.

Gorgeous location (better than booking.com photos) with sea wrapping around the property and the horizon dotted with islands. The experience had the friendliness of a b&b but with respect of privacy. Great breakfast and more importantly coffee. Carol accidently received the booking so extra points for getting everything ready!

I would have liked to stay longer :(
