We LOVED everything about the property! The location, the hospitality offered, the decor and the standard of the food. Everything was of an extremely high standard ( we were even offered an exchange of pillows if they didn’t suit!) Jon and Alex are consummate professionals, dedicated to providing the perfect experience for their clients. They really went above and beyond to care for their guests. The decor is pure theatre as are mealtimes with Jon as the ringmaster! It was an amazing experience and we have never been so well looked after. Incredible food ( really extensive choice), wonderful views , wacky, wonderful decor and an altogether magical experience at an extremely reasonable price. Thank you both very much for your hard work and dedication, we were delighted to have found you and will definitely be back. Many thanks!

It’s beautiful! Clean and fun both. Our bed and pillows were so comfortable. It was easy to find and close enough to walk to pubs and the beach. Great views of mountains and the coastline both

I wish of stayed longer. They provided too much food. This food is so good that you cannot stop eating. Honestly the cooks are to blame! I recommend the French toast with happy bacon as it’s the best I’ve ever had. :)

Jon and Alex were extremely generous hosts who welcomed us warmly into their unique and stylish home. We stayed in the luxuriously appointed Venetian suite which offered us every possible comfort, including a super comfy super King bed, wonderful pillows, with a choice of firmness, and luxurious high thread count cotton bed linen. We both slept incredibly well every one of our three nights there. The room was very spacious and included a very comfortable sitting area, tea and coffee making facilities (with complimentary Lindt chocolate!), a well equipped bathroom, excellent shower and separate jacuzzi style bath. Breakfasts were freshly prepared to order with a huge choice of dishes all made with high quality ingredients, many of which locally sourced. We were also able to have dinner one night which was delicious and generous and once again there was a large choice of dishes on offer. It was a short walk from the B and B to the beach and Keel village. All in all it was a great experience and we look forward to visiting again on our next trip to county Mayo.

Well!! Genuinely dont know where to start as - even before we reached the place - we realized the exceptional service that was awaiting us. Not only did they accept us even post the their normal check-in timings - Alex for genuinely concerned about us - which was visible as we arrived - which was much more than anyone could ask for, and John going 'Above and Beyond' to help us with some wonderful Dinner - I dont think I would be able to justify in words how exceptional their service was and for sure would Visit again - and recommend others too :) Alex and John - Can't thank you'll enough!

Jon and Alex weren't anything short of amazing, everything was really good and the attention to detail is unbelievable. We got an upgrade to the roman suite upon arrival, which was really great, since the room was bigger and had nice views. Breakfast was an experience on its own, the food was freshly cooked and with so many options it was hard to choose only one, the views from the dining area were breathtaking overlooking Keel beach and Minaum mountain peak behind it. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and had all amenities we could wish for. The decoration was also really cool! Be sure to come with extra time to just sit down, relax and enjoy.

Fabulous accommodation, beautifully appointed themed room. Superb comfortable bed and lovely linen. En suite facilities first class; jacuzzi bath and separate, fabulous walk-in shower. Gorgeous towels. Incredibly beautiful views from our room. The food was simply divine. Simply the best I have ever tasted on any holiday. The hosts (Jon & Alex) were so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They honestly made us feel very special on our 40th wedding celebration holiday at Ferndale. Within those three days they have become friends for life. We could not recommend this glorious B&B highly enough. Pure luxury. Thank you Jon & Alex. We hope to see you again soon!

Booked on the spur of the moment when I decided to stay on Achill, having only been planning a day trip. John and Alex are incredibly welcoming, attentive and show great attention to detail. My room with its Roman theme sounded a bit comical in the description, but in fact it was luxurious, and so much fun, from the complimentary gelato served in my sensational private lounge overlooking Keel Beach (the view is sensational), to the jacuzzi and decorative bed. Lovely linen, pillows, all the tech and chargers you could dream of - there is really nothing they haven’t thought of. And the breakfast - well, I challenge you to find a fresher fruit salad or a more extensive list of home cooked food, with Chef John offering breakfast choices from all over the world.

I was traveling on a long distance journey via bicycle and I had a problem with tire that needed replacing. John helped me figure out a workaround with local mechanics and a taxi driver who was able to get me to Westport for a new tire and continue my journey. However the best part of it was that the staff was exceptional in taking care of their guests. The place definitely has a wonderful feng shui and it's just a short stroll down into the small town for dinner and drinks and the stroll back in the evening air was especially nice. I would definitely stay here again and bring friends.

Nothing it was absolutely perfect

Alex and John do everything in their power to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Decor is truly unique, with the room is equipped with everything you need. Beautiful scenery around the B&B. An very impressive breakfast menu! The hosts also were very helpful for food recommendations on New Year’s Eve! Lastly, I really appreciated the 1 pm check out :-)

Room was just a tiny bit chilly for our preference- but the hosts did provide a plug in heater in the room, which was appreciated.

Our stay was beyond spectacular!! I didn't want to leave!!! John and Alex were beyond friendly....my daughter and I felt like we were visiting long time friends! They were so welcoming, so warm and very attentive. The rooms are exquisite and unique to anything I've ever scene. They are decorated in extravagant themes....we stayed in the Roman Holiday and LOVED it!! The views are amazing!! It was the best sleep I had in all 16 days of our trip! And the breakfast was a delectable gourmet spread! We were definitely spoiled!!
