Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Dinner both in the bar and in the restaurant were both very good. Breakfast was also of high quality and service was excellent. The staff at Renvyle are extremely helpful, even taking time for the manager to show us where was best little cove to swim in the sea. Overall it was a really nice stay and we look forward to returning in the future.
Renvyle is pet (i.e. dog) friendly which is admirable. However, consideration should be given to those of us who choose not to have pets. There are times when owners brought dogs into the lounge later in the evening, which we felt was too open and not giving consideration to all residents. Perhaps restricting dog access to certain parts of the hotel, particularly in the evening, could be considered.

The staff were so friendly and helpful.
The gents toilet smelled really badly on passing. The ladies toilets are in need of improvement as the access is compromised with the positioning of the toilet roll holder. A pet dog was left alone in one of the rooms and barked all night. I felt concerned about it. Me and my husband enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, however we both felt unwell after eating on the night of our arrival. I couldn’t sleep that night nor be able to leave our room for most of the the following day.

The hotel is at the sea end of a long drive where you can leave stress behind. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens , the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My single room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom, spotless and with an amazing view. The outdoor heated pool was a bonus in the glorious weather. Food was of an excellent standard. There were numerous places to sit by the fire or overlooking the garden. A real gem.
Nothing.

Beautiful location beautiful old home lots of amenities the dinner and breakfast were excellent. The food is amazing. Staff is very nice. Met with the manager a couple of times she walks around and greets people very hospitable. The rooms were nice. Cute little bar.
The property was definitely a little bit dated a dining room was very nice. That room was not dated the parts of the hotel. We definitely dated the carpeting upstairs. The pool area looked very worn. Send the furniture was very updated but other than that it needs a little TLC, but it’s a beautiful place.

The property is absolutely stunning and the grounds are just beautiful and so well maintained. The food was spectacular from breakfast, lunch, the dining was amazing and the bar good also incredible. The pool was heated, very clean and gorgeous to be in. The hot tubs are also extremely well kept with the most stunning view. The staff were all fabulous and could not do enough for us. Such a gorgeous location for a relaxing break with beautiful food and service. We absolutely loved our stay and will most certainly be back.

My Mam and I came for a night for my Birthday and we had a wonderful time. The outdoor pool and hot tub was amazing. Dinner was exceptional. We spent a cosy night int he bar with an open fire and slept so very well. Then started our next day with a delicious breakfast. I could not fault the place in the slightest.
That I had to leave, my stay was far to short but I will definitely be back again :)

The location was so beautiful! All staff were welcoming and friendly. Meals were delicious. Live traditional music in front of a peat fire was magical!
Some parents of multiple young children allowed their children to tantrum and scream through breakfast. Of course this was not the hotel’s fault but it really made breakfast miserable for us.

The location of the hotel is lovely and I went for a walk before breakfast along the beach to the castle ruins, which was a good start to the day. My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. There was a huge choice of food for the cooked breakfast including some items which appear infrequently eg kippers, liver. For dinner, I ate in the bar and the food was very well cooked.
The hot water ran out in the shower.

Very calm relaxed hotel, friendly staff and amazing location
The set menu in the restaurant doesn’t allow for those who do not want have it in a group, in a 5 course meal for €65 there was an exception made if you want 1 course for €35, seemed excessive. Bar food is available though for less formal meal.
