I had a truly wonderful stay at your hotel. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which was excellent with a wide selection of fresh and delicious options. The location was excellent, making it very convenient and enjoyable during my stay. What really stood out, however, was the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Everyone I encountered was very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made my experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to others and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Staff, breakfast, location, pool! Staff is still nice and kind, all of them, receptionists and people in dining room.

A little bit dissapointed this time. Two years ago we spent 2 nights in this hotel, and it was amazing, from staff, to room and breakfast, I gave them 10. This year, staff and breakfast are still great. But we got very bad room, I think this room they give only when they need to. The room was cramped, dark, it had an exit to the balcony that directly looked at the roof, also people from the hall could use that same balcony. It was noisy in the evening as a group sat and talked late into the night just below our balcony. The bed was quite uncomfortable, one could say that it was an extra bed and not a normal bed. Toilet seat was broken.

The breakfast is buffet-style, with a plentiful selection. The room is period-style, cozy, retro. There is no air conditioning, but there is a fan, and this is pointed out in advance. The bathroom is modern and convenient. In the yard, there is a pool and sun loungers. The staff (the family) are very caring and attentive to everything. Parking in the yard is free of charge. The castle could even be seen from the window.

For me, the wood and the period style were a bit too much, but I really can’t complain about anything. Maybe a bit more light (stronger lighting) would have been better.

Drear Hotel Aquilla, You have changed my life. Your staff helped me and my best friend more than you will ever know. Helping us check in to your hotel built in the 1500s, showing us around, giving us free treats when we checked in. When all hope for a train taking us to Florence was lost, your hostess got us a last minute taxi. My eyes swelled with tears when I ate the Tiramisu offered in the complimentary breakfast. Each bite of every food was heaven. I felt like a princess, but also like a soul granted access to heaven. Humbled by the unfettered beauty and grace of the Hotel Aquilla. Like an oasis in the desert, it's gates guided me back to the town after running down the mountain after seeing the castle. The cooking staff took one look at our sad drip coffies and brought us the best cappuccinos I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. I spent my morning painting the castle in the morning sun from the balcony. The door to the balcony doubles as a window thanks to its ingenious design! That I had to leave

Beds and bath were super clean. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and included in the price. There was everything you can dream of. But there was one big problem.

I would have given 10 Stars but there was one extremely anoying thing: because of the wind somewhere some loose window shades were banging all night against the walls and back against the windows. It was incredibly loud and from 1.30 a.m. on I couldn't sleep a minute. Because one of my window shades couldn't be fixed to the wall I had to close both which I usually don't since I can't stand complete darkness. And because of the extremely loud noise I had to close the window, too which I also dislike.

The view : great view of the castle from the hotel. Location: central location , easily reached by car. Room: wonderfully wood crafted room floors, ceilings, furniture. Mesmerizing hand painted canvas adds a cozy feeling. Internet: strong Internet with 80/20mbps connection for any work, even some business stuff. Swimming pool: decent sized pool to relax in a warm day. Breakfast: finest selection of croissants, pancakes, several types of cakes, bread. Overall a delight to start the day. Staff: extremely friendly and making an extra mile to keep the guests happy.

Bathroom: quite narrow and under renovated comparing the quality of the room and other amenities.

First of all the receptionists and the ladies in the breakfast area Sara and Diana are so kind, hospitable and smiley and they are happy to answer questions and they are doing their best to make guests feel comfortable. The room itself is very comfortable and clean and my room also had an amazing view of the Castle. The breakfast was also very rich and it had pretty much everything, salty and sugary options. I feel that this hotel deserves a much better rating because it feels they are all making a very serious and professional effort to provide a class service. I will definitely be back!

Nothing negative

The staff were really nice, welcoming and helpful. Gave us advice about restaurants and gave us forks to eat our lunch away in the dolomites. The breakfast was great with: scramble eggs with bacon done just for you! The lady’s were super nice and were always smiling. The room was very comfortable and warm and towels were changed every day.

The shower did not had a full protection so when taking bath it was a bit cold We stay on the ground floor next to the stairs so depending on the persona we could heard some noise when someone went up or down and also heard the pipes/water when the room above us flushed or showered

The room was beautiful. Had a recent renovation. The view from the bed looked out into the stunning mountains with a view of the castle. The pool was great. The breakfast was exceptional. Staff super friendly and helpful. Local pizza recommendations proved great. Cocktails and drinks brought to the pool, convenient parking at property. Overall fantastic

The fridge wasn’t cold, seemed to be too hot in the cupboard but really not a problem.

We liked it a lot: super nice people, great breakfast, location, pool availability, free pets, our stay on general was very pleasant and we look forward coming again

The balcony floor was very noisy when being stepped on; the rooms are not well isolated as for the noise; the voucher for dinner gave us around 5% off which the bartender at that restaurant made up as we paid (maybe this should be clarified as an agreement between the hotel and the restaurant); the showerhead needs replacing; I guess the following is price marketing strategy - we got booking last minute offer for 88,- instead of 230,-. For the 88,- it was great, the 230,- however would be a long shot considering the mentioned above. However in general we vere as said, very pleased.
