Room 303 was very comfortable, and the box balcony was cute . Sauna was very nice to do in the evening. The pool was excellent and spent an hour swimming doing lengths. The only negative was that the room did not have a kettle or coffee making facilities and no nearby cafes were open before 7.30 am so had to wait for .breakfast restaurant to open up.

There is no kettle in the room.

Main coridor and lobby smell nice and very clean and staff very friendly and approachable.

Some of the breakfast was not fresh and had some stomach issues. The meat was cooked and probably heated over several days and some of salami and bacon didn’t look good. However, overall it was ok but I expected more freshness and more variety. The water in the jacuzzi should be changed regularly and the chairs by the swimming pool looked dirty and filthy.

Our room was on 1st floor, with a balcony leading to a closed terrace (indoor, no view). There was no smoking allowed in the rooms or the balcony. However, cigarette smoke smell came into our rooms from somewhere, even with the windows closed. We notified front desk, but it still happened again, all through our stay. Also, the spa area a bit small fo the hotel capacity, with very little seating to relax or even to put your towel/robe on around the pool/spa.

The hotel is very clean and nice located. Rooms are cozy and well equipped. Breakfast ok, poll ok.

Unfortunately too noisy till late night because of a party held in the restaurant. Was impossible to sleep at the 2nd floor. All good points of this nice hotel are minimised by this primitive habbit of having loud music because few people want to party. I am a customer too and I paid for my accomodation. Why am I obligated to accept all this? I totally dissagree this practice of making customer accept anything because he has no choice. It is lack of respect.

Bathroom had a bad odour. Very difficult to reach an empty parking slot. IMHO it’s an overpriced hotel.

Everything was perfect !! We had chose this hotel also last year ! Big rooms and clean !! Nice view!! Delicious breakfast ! Very kind and quick to help was Mr.FLORIN DECA from the reception staff !!

To start with, I was really happy to be in Predeal. It was scenic and serene, and had a great hiking trail and a easy connection to Brasov and Sinaia and other places. This hotel just made my trip perfect. The hotel was very close to the train station and easy to locate. There were several shops, pharmacies, restaurants etc around. The room was clean, quiet, scenic and very, very comfortable. The spa was nice: the sauna was big enough to accommodate 10 or more (but it was mostly me there) ; the swimming pool was warm, clean and big; there was a luxurious jacuzzi and also a fitness room. I made use of all the facilities and thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfast was warm and fresh, and had a range of healthy and tasty options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Last but not the least: the staff - all of them (from reception to restaurant to house-keeping) - were incredibly sweet. My special thanks.

A coffee machine or kettle in the room would be amazing. I would pay a bit extra for that option.

Large room, clean, all facilities, comfortable beds, helpful staff, rich breakfast and good position.

The pool was small in comparison with the number of guests. Not enough lounge chairs and towels.

Personel was very friendy and sensitve to our needs. The cheerful smile was a plus. Room was spacious and well lit, with very comfy beds. Cleanliness was spot on. Breakfast was generous, fresh and tasty. Never seemed to run out of food. Also, it is very close to the trainstation, and that is a plus if you have to haul large luggage.

Not a fault per se, but being so close to the main road the noise level was a bit higher than would have liked. Not someting to be considered a detriment in staying at Carmen, unless you are a very sensible about above average noise caused by traffic.
