Great hotel, location and breakfast.

Staff not the friendly.

We liked this hotel enough to go back to it a second time. We stayed there in April 2018! Breakfasts were fine. Perhaps a better selection of cereals would have been appreciated. The Garden Room with potted trees, plants, etc. provides a very pleasant setting for a meal, especially as it backs onto the seafront.. The quirky nature of the hotel is a change from some soul-less modern hotels. The staff are also helpful. The balcony, if tight, was appreciated.

A problem for many hotels is they often lack a certain amount of comfort, i.e. armchairs! - either in the rooms or in a common lounge (where one might meet some of the other guests). Very helpful when the weather is not so good! Mattresses were a little hard, but we slept well.

Charming place with lots of character. Wooden beams in the ceiling, stone walls, heavy, colorful metal chairs in the breakfast area, etc. I still don't know who Peppe is, but he apparently made a lot of paintings and they're all over the hotel. Are they beautiful? No, lol. Do they make the place feel more homey? Yes, and I appreciate that Additionally, the breakfast was great and the hotel is located very near the beach.

We didn't get the room we selected on booking. The room we got was smaller and kind of boring. Luckily the staff were able to get us a new room, which was larger and had a long balcony overlooking the breakfast area. That's why I'm giving the place such a high rating. If we got the other room it would probably have been a 6 or 7 out of 10.

It is the vintage hotel telling the story about history of the hotel, the people, families. In this modern times, it is a gem frozen in time and we will remember it as such.

Some features can be renewed or replaced, but I understand it can be costly. Car parking is a plus for guests with their own car or ren-a-car, but it should be clearly stated that it must be booked up front or the free car parking is not so close...

The hotel is a gem, it makes you feel like you are in a book by Agatha Christie. It is very close to the sea and you have paid parking behind the hotel. If you want a quiet stay and avoid the crowds of Taormina, Letojannni is the perfect place. And if you want to stay in a place full of history, I recommend Hotel de Peppe.

Location, near the beach & all the commodities.

No parking, with all the luggage’s was hard to park on the street. We had an extended van, so after all the turn , the lady let us park in their private parking, which all of the sadden surfaced.

Location is great. Room was large, very basic. The shower was good. AC average. Breakfast was decent; some croissants, automated coffee, some cold cuts/cheese.

There's a charge to use the beach, 15€pp. Didn't see that on the listing. Parking is extremely hard to find, and costs 15€ /day. Receptionist was a little frosty.
