This is not in Taormina, but is a great location. Taormina is on a cliff, with no direct access to the beach, this is on the beach. Cafes and restaurants are better priced and bonus, the bus is only 2€ to Taormina. FYI. If coming in by train from the south, stop at Letojanni. The hotel is a short walk from there. If you get off at the Taormina stop you are too far south and will need transport to get to the hotel. Lovely hotel. Would recommend.

Buses stop in the evening and taxis back can be expensive.

We recently stayed at Hotel Rivage in Taormina and had a generally pleasant experience, thanks to the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to help us—even finding us a parking spot on the street, which was a huge plus in such a busy area! The hotel restaurant is truly excellent—we had a lovely dinner there—and the breakfast was fresh and enjoyable, though the in selection was a bit limited.

On the downside, our room was significantly smaller than it appeared in the photos, and the "mountain view" turned out to be a view of a construction site, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the hotel looks much bigger and more upscale in pictures than it feels in reality. In my opinion, it’s closer to a solid 3-star experience than the advertised four stars.

Great boutique hotel in Mazzeo beach area. Very quiet, clean and extremely friendly staff. We were greeted by Gabriele and he was lovely, showed us areas of the hotel, welcome drinks and took us to our room, explained the hotel and services as well which was appreciated. The hotel itself has a modern yet Italian feel to it, the rooms are average size but enough for 2 for a few nights, balcony has a sea view and directly across the hotel is the beach club - if you’re using the beach towels, it’s an additional fee which we found weird when the entry to the beach club is free.

Although there’s a bus to Taormina, it’s a 5-7 min walk from the hotel and only comes once every hour - really inconvenient when you miss one or in between weird half hours times - also the last bus running from Taormina is at 9:30pm to the hotel which is quite early, so if you’re planning to stay in town for late drinks and dinner, download Uber to get fixed prices. Breakfast is ok, very minimal options - mainly pastries, cereals and weirdly uncut fruits - you have to peel entire oranges or kiwis which I thought was strange..

the staff were very good, Tia, Gabriel and Asia were super helpful and the girl with the glasses in the restaurant. Had a pleasant stay and will definitely come back.

There was the main server at the beach club restaurant who didn't give me an upfront table near the beach but made me sit at the back because I was eating only dessert - tiramisu and a coffee. 70% of the restaurant was empty. He said the front tables are for food eating only for restaurant. That was a little upsetting. The Older f7B staff should be trained on how to be pleasant, the gentleman was a grumpy old chap. Once my mother called him for service and he pointed his hands rudely telling her to wait. This kind of behavior is not expected from a professional.

location location location! private beach with a snack bar and restaurant, lots of coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance, 5 minutes drive to city center. Staff was amazing! patient, attentive and helpful.

the elevator is soooo slow... :-) Restaurant on the beach - not great flavor wise. must have water shoes to go into the water, shells and pebbles hurt your feet.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much for them and provided lots of helpful tips for getting around. The hotel was very clean and modern. We stayed in the 'double with side sea view' room. The room was spotless and spacious with a balcony. Breakfast was included, a wide spread of continental and buffet options and very tasty. There is a bus stop about 400m up the road from the hotel which costs you 1.10 EUR to get into Taormina. The beach club run by the hotel is across the road and provides sun beds (at no cost to hotel customers), you can stay there the whole day. The restaurant at the beach club was well priced and had delicious food. You can hire beach towels from the hotel for a small fee which was very handy.

The hotel was lovely. The rooms were really clean and the bed very comfortable. The pool was a really refreshing experience with nice cabana beds. The hotel was small enough to feel quiet and relaxed. The staff were very helpful. It is a short bus ride into Taormina and only a couple of euros. There is a bar and restaurant overlooking the beach attached to the hotel. The staff work tirelessly and are all very helpful. The food was delicious and a high standard. There are also other bars and restaurants close by. Thank you to the staff for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

There is nothing that we didn’t like.

The hotel is located on the sea. This is the small town of Letojanni. Taormina is located on the mountain. We got there by rented car, but there are also buses. Our vacation took place in January, so the hotel was practically empty, like the city as a whole. There were also very few people in Taormina. We love this time of year for walks; it’s not hot at all, about 20-25 degrees during the day. Convenient access to places associated with the film The Godfather and Mount Etna. Everything is nearby. We'll definitely be back!

The sign at the reception said you cannot bring food into your room. We often shopped at nearby cafes. No one told us anything, I hope this is not a strict rule, otherwise it’s strange. ​

Lovely hotel, family feel, warm and welcoming team. The hotel reception couldn’t do enough to help with our stay, offered recommendations including a sunset boat trip (picked up from the hotel) definitely book this and we spotted dolphins!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very clean and cleaners were on it every day. We would book again and recommend to anyone who wants to see Taormina with the peace of a quiet location.
