The front desk manager, Melody and the night duty manager Alex was excellent in looking after my arrival. Furthermore, the breakfast staff is so polite and attentive, its beyond my expectations for a 4 star hotel, definitely getting a 5 star service.

The TV is a little too old, resolution can be higher.. All in all the overall deco is a little dated. and there is no proper lounge / executive floor. The lobby bar can be more comfortable. the Bed making needs a little improvement. the signage to get into the hotel from street can be clearer..

The hotel is fantastic. I loved it. The hotel staff - they are all brilliant! Helpful, lovely, friendly people, always smiling and great English skills! The in room dining was very good quality and well priced, I enjoyed two very delicious suppers! The facilities are amazing. The breakfast buffet room is stylish and kept very clean, staff are attentive and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Great western options. I enjoyed the fresh bread every day and multiple spreads, this hotel even serves cereal which is rare in China. Sausages, bacon, baked beans, grilled tomato, fried mushrooms. There was even cold meat options for my carnivorous parents were excellent, smoked chicken, salami, and others. Fresh fruit and tinned fruit, fruit and plain yogurt. Everything was amazing and if we ever go back to Beijing, we would choose this hotel. The area is actually very laid back, Soho is just a 10 minute walk away. Close to subway station. The rooms were warm (December I visited) and very clean, massive windows which took in all day sun. The bathrooms have been renovated, they look new and fresh, super clean! Instant hot water. Great water pressure! Large showers. The swimming pool is gorgeous, the water was not very warm but warm enough. The pool staff also are fantastic. There's a lifeguard on duty. Swimming caps are necessary for swimming, they have these for sale. This hotel was a pleasure to visit. Thank you.

The room I had (3023) was right next to the elevator which I didn't think would be a problem; but it did have a few issues; 1. the door sometimes wouldn't open using my key card. Three or four attempts to open it sometimes. Luckily I'm a patient person. 2. Also there's a slight gap under the door, so I could hear people talking near the elevator and hallway.

Breakfast was exceptional. Many comment were praising breakfast and it was indeed great (everything is true what was written). Overall nice hotel, clean, nice service (also English speaking staff), every day fresh water delivered to the room. We arrived sooner, but the room was available and we could go in immediately without any hesitation. Pool is nice and big (did not use gym facilities, but saw many people using it, and they seemed to enjoy it). Pictures are really representative and there were no surprises when we arrived. We liked the location, there is a food street literately behind the corner (we really enjoyed JDC HotPot Lab)

Location is not in a walking distance to the metro station. We were using taxi (DiDi service) all the time, so it was not a problem for us.

Right next to a great coffee shop where you can work all day. Staff speak English which is useful. I left a watch in the hotel and came back a week after my stay; the watch was returned. A close walk to Wangjing SOHO area, and not too far a drive from the 798 district. Good malls and other food within walking distance. Room was extremely clean. Room was serviced daily and kept tidy. Wifi was fast. Staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Excellent service. I'm more of a "do it yourself" type of person, so I had to actively express that I did not want help with things many times. They really try to assist and make the stay comfortable.

Other reviews made me think the breakfast would be superb, but I thought it was okay in terms of value (you can get equally great quality/ quantity nearby for a better price if you are okay with Chinese breakfasts rather than a Western breakfast). Food was decently tasty. If you value the convenience of it being in the hotel enough to not take a 15-20 minute walk to a nearby place, then perhaps this justifies the cost (probably much, much easier if you have children).

We arrived via train from Xi'an at the last leg of our self guided Homeland Tour. We had little cash and had found our credit cards blocked by our UK banks despite telling them we were visiting China and had been using them up until this point via Alipay and WeChat. The hotel were very extremely helpful, allowing us to check in with minimal deposit,(Thank you Melody) which then allowed us to use the room telephone to call the UK and unblock the credit cards - although only one was unlocked. Brilliant four day stay. Our daughters loved the swimming pool - used it every night. We ate in the hotel in the evening. Food was excellent value for money. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was excellent in terms of choice and taste. Ten minute walk to a subway that allowed us to travel into the Beijing tourist spots. Excellent city scape views at night from our room on floor 32

Light snacks in the foyer restaurant could have arrived quicker

The rooms are as described and very clean with good facilities. Location is close to amenities in Wangjing district and 20/30mins drive to Beijing Capital Airport. Swimming pool and gym are both decent size, clean and modern. You will need to bring a swimming cap with you or buy one at the gym's reception. Staff has been super helpful when it comes to helping me find a taxi on a rainy day, and finding taxi to the airport. Highly recommended!

The picture of the room on booking.com showed there is a bath tab in the bathroom although mine only had shower, not the end of the world so I didn't say anything. Good to save water anyway. :)

I'd like to warmly thank the staff of the hotel! You guys not only showed the best guest service and professionalism, but also turned out to be wonderful people! Thanks for finding my phone, it had pictures from all over our trip to China. I was incredibly upset when I lost it in a water park far from the hotel. You've made something impossible by returning it. Thanks a lot! You are my heroes!💓We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues.

We are very happy about the services and location of this hotel. The front desk people including managers and staff who help guests with room reservations and ordering taxi services are all very helpful and friendly. As we don't have Wechat payment app, it is hard for us to get a taxi ourselves. The staff have been ordering taxi for us every day with friendly smile all the time. Further, as my kids have peanuts, tree nuts and egg allergies, we really like that all the breakfast items at this hotel are clearly marked with ingredients. My kids did not get any food that could trigger their allergies during the entire stay of 8 days. We trust this hotel and would like to stay here again next summer!

The hotel and services are really great!!! The only minor thing I can think about is the curtain, which is a bit hard to close, and the inside part does not close all the way. It is not a deal breaker, so we never raised this issue to the staff here.

Hotel is family friendly, staff at reception helpful and even accommodated our request for late checkout. Room made up nicely every day, toiletries provided smelt wonderful. Quiet high floor, spacious family room with superb view of the city. Easy to get a cab into the city, average cost each ride only 30 - 45CNY. Some shopping and many food options available within walking distance.

We had booked a room with breakfast, but were told the child's meal had not been included. The guy at the reception sorted things out, but there should not have been this problem if breakfast is stated as included with the room! Large shopping mall next to the hotel had apparently gone bust, was a bit of a disappointment. Hotel is quite far away from the attractions in town.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. One of them went as far as help us arrange the next segment of our trip to Xi'an. We have to bother the concierge staff endless number of times as we were struggling to deal with the ticket bookings to places of interest while in Beijing and figuring out directions, and they continued to be very patient and helpful. The hotel is relatively new and very clean. The neighbourhood was also new, clean and quiet - not congested like central Beijing.

The only thing is the staff at the cafe on the ground floor were a bit stony face, and appeared less helpful than their counterpart at the reception and concierge. The buffet dinner there were not as impressive as the breakfast on the 6th floor.
