What a fantastic place to spend Christmas! We spent only one night and we wish it would have been longer!!! The Hotel is decorated is a very appealing tasteful way, each room has a theme; ours was London, New York and a Pirate ship. Each floor has a theme, which I explored with delight... BUT Nothing is over done and very very CLEAN! there is a game room for adults and kids, a movie theatre room, bar with wide variety to choose from. Beds were super comfy and Breakfast was very good (assorted breads, cheeses, scrambled and boiled eggs, jams, variety of drinks. ) We arrived on Christmas Eve and expected not to find any where to eat, BUT the host suggested a lovely Italian Restaurant, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Next time we'll stay for a week!

Some very ignorant customer defaced the elevator door. Needs painting over and this person sent a bill!!!!

The hotel fully meets the description - what you see is what you get. As described, the hotel has unique decoration: quite eclectic yet interesting to live once in. Spotless clean everything, good breakfast, good WiFi. Room has modern design, beds, bath, furniture are of high quality. Clearly above average "just good enough" hotel level. Here you feel that owners are not saving on your comfort. Well heated, very warm and cozy inside - an important point as some hotels try to save and freeze you with 18 degree cold atmosphere. Location close to the several Thermal resorts incl. Baden-Baden. 40 min driving to Roppenheim Outlet city. The owners are very welcome and supportive. They also recommended us two great restaurants near by: Alte Mühle and Toscana at the Golf Club - both must visit.

All good, just minor thing. Room was as described but a bit smaller than I though and with lack of windows. Yet we were looking for two separate beds in separate sub-rooms so it was exactly what we needed.

Hotel Rossle is a family run hotel-it is quirky, eccentric, fun, comfortable and incredibly clean. It was the perfect weekend get-a-way in the Black Forest with hiking and biking trail heads within few minutes walk from the hotel. For our family-our teenage son and his 2 friends there was plenty to keep them entertained with ping pong, air hockey, fussball, & a media room. There is a lovely garden with seating (the kids managed to get schoolwork done in the garden). The staff were warm, welcoming. The breakfast was typical European, buffet style but so nice to have given that many of the restaurants/cafes in the local area were either not open (on Sunday) or were closed due to vacation or because of the nearby village’s street food festival. Also right across the street is the Sport Hall with outdoor climbing wall, trampoline, swing set and outdoor fitness circuit. There is a grocery store, Imbiss, cafe/bistro, bakery within walking distance. Plenty of parking at the hotel. We loved the self service bar as well.

Next visit we will request a room facing the garden (quieter location-church bells are a charming part of the European culture BUT not at 0600 and every 1/4 of the hour). The family room is perfect for young families-for teenagers it lacked privacy and the bathroom is off the main bedroom (a bit awkward given that 2 of the teenagers were our son’s friends).

This hotel is truly special and unique, offering many different types of rooms with various decorations and themes. I believe kids would particularly enjoy staying here. The breakfast restaurant is also quite special. From the hotel's ambiance and decor, it's clear that the owners have put a lot of effort into making guests feel happy and ensuring their stay is memorable. The owners are incredibly friendly. The male owner helped my family with our luggage, provided a detailed introduction to the rooms, and explained everything clearly. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms are also spacious, though the shower could be a bit larger. Breakfast was good, and it’s evident that the hotel welcomes kids, as there are food options for them and even a playroom. However, what I loved most about the hotel were the "big bosses"—the cat and two dogs. The cat is just too cute and elegant, and I can't forget them! (The owners are very nice too!)

It is a very unique place, full of character and charm with spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and the check in and check out process is easy. We had bed and breakfast stay and the breakfast was exceptional! Starting from a dinning room décor to a great selection of hot food as well as continental breakfast options. It was a feast for mouths and eyes. We would love to return there in the future.

The hotel is designed and furnished with love. The personnel found extremely welcome and ready to provided any assistance at any period of time. That was a long trip for us travelling around the Europe during the Christmas holidays and we’ve noted this hotel as a best option found. The room was very clean

We did not note any negative remarks and planning to visit this plaice again during the summer season. Beautiful place. All was good exceeding our expectations

Along Westweg, in the middle of Dobel. The family room was clean, large and spacious. Sleeping area for parents is separate by a dividing wall from the kids‘. a kettle to boil water to make tea or coffee. A fridge was in the room but we didnt use it because we only stayed for a night. Our kids(6y and 10y) were fascinated by the decoration in the room and also around hotel. It was like a museum for quirky/amusing things. A variety of food at breakfast. We were allowed to pack a sandwich as lunch, saved us the hassle to walk to bakery to get lunch before we continue our westweg hike. The hotel owner and staff were nice, they would ask every time if we need anything.

The hotel does not provide lunch/dinner, but we could get dinner at Dorfstüble across the road, which was opened until 7pm or so.

We loved everything about this wonderful hotel. It’s like staying in a museum. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Well equipped with lots of electrical outlets and space for belongings. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat. Free covered parking right outside the door. The proprietor and his wife were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. Price was very reasonable. Don’t hesitate reserving here, you won’t be disappointed.

Property has a hunting lodge theme, rooms are clean with a balcony. Breakfast was good, the host was very friendly also for our fur babies. Next time we are on our way to Italy, we'll definitely stay here, as it is on the way to Basel, here again.

We arrived by 8pm on a Friday evening and no food available. Anywhere. Not in the hotel, not in the village, not in the next village. Luckily we brought some nuts and cheese, otherwise it would have meant going to bed hungry.

We travelled with a baby and we felt really comfortable with our room (good size, clean, with a nice balcony, baby cot free of charge). The breakfast was included, we enjoyed a lot the selection of bread and charcuterie. The hotel has private parking and is really easy to hit the road to keep visiting the black forest.

I really missed a lobby space to hangout while the baby was sleeping. There is a very nice cinema space, but was closed at 22 hs. We found difficult to stablish communication in English with the personnel. The restaurant was closed during the 3 nights we spent there (at begging of September) Finally, the bathroom facilities could be improved to fit the general excellent state of the building.
