The experience for the family was great. The two pools are very well kept and very enjoyable to swim in. The surrounding area is so quiet and peaceful both inside and outside the place. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well taken care of and nothing to complain about neither. The receptionists were always very helpful and welcoming.

Unfortunately the two things that really disappointed me were the attitude of the staff at the restaurant. It felt like they were doing you a big favour to serve you and when asking for something or to explain in more detail/or further information, they wouldn't really be pleased to do so which is a real pity! The other one is that the pool closes quite early and opens a bit late in the morning, when you'd wish that you'd use it more since we spent most of the time there.

Beautiful facilities and extremely professional and friendly staff. They also spoke very well english. A supermarket is within 10 min drive, even with a fast (90 kW) e-car charging station on the parking lot. The hotel restaurant is also very good.

There is not so much to do in the direct vicinity but in a minimum of 20 min drive there are options. It is an excellent base for day trips, or just staying a full day at the lovely pool.

Marian from the reception was super nice and helpful- she gave all needed info, responded to all questions. We loved that the pool, garden and other facilities were open for usage

There was a bad smell in the room, faucet in the bathroom was not clean. There was no even one glass for water, which was free in the fridge. Kids complained about bed bugs, that we actually found in the morning. We had really bad experience with personnel at the restaurant. The main waiter didn’t speak english, we had to scan the code for the menu which was in Italian only. I opened the menu from Badiula website in english and the personnel said it was outdated:( All waiters and additional personnel were waiting for a large group of guests to arrive, so we really felt not welcome, if course less profitable than the large griup coming. Breakfast not too impresive, no vegetables at all, only marinated olives.

Beautiful location. Two lovely pools to choose from. Our room was amazing and exceptionally clean. The staff were wonderful. Thank you Marian, Stefania and Martina on Reception - so helpful. Chef Mose was amazing and went out of His way to cook amazing dishes. Antonio ran the Restaurant like clock work and was ver attentive. Thank you Everyone at Badiula! We will return.

Nice and spacious room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Beautiful hotel area, very calm and relaxing. Good breakfast. Nice swimming pool area. A lot of options to plan during the day (citrus grove tour, cooking class, ...).

You need a car if you want to do some trips (Catania 20-30 mins, Syracuse 45 mins). Some more facilities around the pool area (bar with adapted plastic glasses, ...) would have been nice.

Proximity to airport, restaurant facilities, pool facilities, spacious family room that accommodate four people. Restaurant was of top quality, we dined in every night, as there was no reason to look for an alternative. It was the start of our vacation and it set the bar high. We will be back.

Nothing, it was perfect!

The property is quite large and well maintained. 2 good sized pools, tennis court and plenty of shaded parking spaces. Room was spacious and clean. Staff are very helpful.

This place is wonderful. The personel is amazing, very friendly. Even stayed a bit later to check us in and help with everything. Food in the restaurant is amazing and not expensive at all for the quality you get. The private pool is great.

Wellness is on reservation. So a tip is to reserve a massage 2-3 days before arrival. Sadly scrambled eggs had to be paid extra 5 EUR if you want that for breakfast. Important to know that the reception closes between 23:00 and 7:30. It is mentioned on the website and booking.com Probably most guest oversee this information.

I cannot recommend this accommodation more. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff. The room was huge, renovated historical building. There were 2 pools available to us which we used and enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious served from 7am which was handy as we had a flight from Catania to catch (25 minutes drive from the accommodation). Just keep in mind that this is a farm, away from shops/restaurants. If you'd like to dine/shop elsewhere then be prepared to drive.

All was perfect, not a single complaint.

We loved everything about Badiula! The surroundings are peaceful and the property is gorgeous. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The private pool area was absolutely lovely. The fact that it's a very short drive from Catania airport was a big bonus! The staff all round very pleasant and made our stay that bit sweeter.

The only comment would be to have a closer bar to the pool, or bar service to private pool. That would make this place perfect!
