Location, location and location! Quiet street right off Sukhbataar square can’t be beat. Property was clean and well maintained with good breakfast and helpful staff. Have stayed before and will return.

Weak Wi-Fi in room. Had to go down to the breakfast room off reception when I needed a stable signal.

The staffs were friendly. Met the manager Ms Betty during breakfast time and she asked how's the stay. I could tell that the hotel tried to show hospitality. The room was relatively small but everything was there. A work desk and a bench were very useful for people who went on work trip like me. Great location with lots of food places nearby. They provide sandwiches to go if you have to leave early in the morning (before breakfast begins), which was very delicious from my perspective. Air con was switched off during winter time but you can open the window for some fresh air.

The hotel gave me a room facing the main street. The traffic was terrible in Ulaanbaatar so people kept pressing the car horns all day and night. As the area was in downtown with bars, (young) people screaming, shouting and playing on the street until late night. My room was on the 4/F so these noises kept bothering me whenever I stayed in the room. Really, very, super disturbing and distracting. The sound proof of the room was very poor -- when I stayed in the room I kept hearing people talking when they were walking on the corridor. I arrived at the evening and it was a bit difficult to locate the logo and main entrance in the dark. Joined the breakfast on the first morning of my stay. The breakfast was very simple and I preferred the sandwiches.

Hotel location was excellent. Breakfast was good. A slight problem when it came to deciding on a room. I had been upgraded to a 'standard twin room' and from photos it seemed it would be a good size. But I also wanted one of the front 6th floor rooms with a view of the Square, etc., and this would be very quiet, high above the traffic. It turned out that the larger room was facing the alley/apartment at the back - so I had to make a difficult decision. Being on my own, I chose the high front room, and was comfortable, but it might have been a little small for two people. Were there other options to combine size, view and quietness??

See my comments above. The room was high up with a view and no noise from the traffic but it was small - and I would have preferred a bigger twin/double room.

Beds, bedding and pillows are good quality. Shower was very good - both in water pressure and settings. Bathroom overall had good quality fittings. Room had AC to heat or cool. Room was fairly quiet. Location is really central, few minutes walk to main square. Handy to have two restaurants just downstairs if you arrive late and don't want to walk elsewhere. Fair selection of reasonably priced food.

Breakfast selections were limited and could be improved by for example adding fresh orange juice, adding fresh fruit, greater variety of cheeses and dishes. No bathrobe in the room but this was supplied on request (although it took two or three reminders for it to be brought...). No safety deposit box in the room.

Stayed 7 days last March 2024 PERFECT LOCATION 10/10: right at the very center of tourist spots, few steps from Sukhbaatar Square. Has restaurant, cafe and bar downstairs and there is fronting convenience store. VALUE ADDING services 10/10: They have Mongolian Tours Company called Shaman Travel Agency by Mr. Augi, highly recommended for all tours in Mongolia. STAFFS 10/10: good, kind, approachable and helpful staffs. COMFORT 10/10: bed is super comfortable. I have everything I need in the room, it also has small fridge. Quiet room. CLEANLINESS 10/10: hotel, room, bathroom, are all clean. They have daily room cleaning if you wish. WIFI 10/10: strong wifi VALUE FOR MONEY 10/10: affordable and worth it with its great location. It includes nice breakfast buffet.

I like everything, all of my experiences here were all positive. I will be back this coming Naadam Festival and I will book this hotel again for my upcoming stay for 8 days straight…

I had stayed in this hotel before, so in my opinion their strengths - good breakfast, comfortable bed and pillows, availability of useful things in the room - kettle, refrigerator, etc. Room is not large, but sufficient in category "bed and breakfast".

Wi-Fi is slow, 2-4 Mbits/s only sometimes. In my next stay electronic key was not working, i was provided with mechanical one. Also if you have a lot of clothes and other belongings, there is no space to place them, so I had just put my travel bag on the floor and kept most things in it. However, taking into account room square, there is no other solution to it. So you shall be prepared to it.

The location was perfect, 100 mt to Gengis Khan square. Breakfast was various sweet and salty, more salty than sweet. One morning the bacon was cold and I reported it to the girl who took the container away to heat it up. The room was very quiet except when the neighbors close their door which requires force and consequent noise. The front office has always been proactive and a special mention to the manager Mr.Tsengeg, very kind and helpful with me.

At the entrance, on the street, an ashtray would be useful to avoid so many cigarettes butts on the road.

Clean, comfortable bed, and conveniently located in city center. Very good value for the price and awesome shower. Easily walked to many museums, shopping, and center square. A very good vegan restaurant near by. Breakfast is a plus, good selections, even though it’s the same things everyday. The staffs were nice and even offered a takeaway sandwich and hot coffee for my 4:30am taxi ride to the airport!

The bathroom had a loose door knob that can cause danger in locking one self inside if there’s not a second person present. I did let the staff know before my departure to fix.

Very friendly, client orientated and helpful staff! Special thanks to all 4 receptionists and manager are working there! This is real team! Breakfasts are good enough, not only eggs and beacon but fresh vegetables and soups included too! Location is just great! Room equipped with tea boiler, small frige, spacious bathroom, beds are good. The free Internet wi-fi is stabile and fast enough! Very recommended hotel!

Hotel Nine is in an excellent location, the square and various museums are nearby, as well as some restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I stayed for three nights overall, for two nights there was no problem, but one night there was loud music coming from another business in the same building. It made it difficult to get to sleep until very late, so if you're sensitive to noise, it might be a problem for you.
