Wonderful accommodation and a true oasis of peace. We enjoyed spending time here. I would really recommend it to everyone. The pool is clean, tidy. It is a quiet place. Near the center of Monopoli. Beautiful.

What could be better is the smell in the rooms. I think the furniture in the bathroom should be changed because it has a strange smell of moisture that spreads throughout the apartment

The pool area is fantastic! Really nice poolbeds, bar with freshly made juices and lunch, which is perfect if you want to have a chill day by the pool. The breakfast was also very extensive with everything you can wish for! The location is close by monopoli but you need a car to get around. They have pool towels available.

The area around the hotel is not the prettiest and close by a big road so less romantic, however within the grounds of the hotel you don’t notice it that much and they have a beautiful garden!

A great place. A huge very comfy, quiet room with good facilities, excellent choice of breakfast, a lovely pool with more than enough beds for the the small number of rooms and a great pool bar . It is far enough from town to be very quiet but a car is essential especially in the evening unless you plan to eat in your room. Very helpful and accommodating staff

The tranquil music around the pool was a little tiresome but not offensive

The pool area was lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide variety available. The staff were very helpful and approachable. The room was well air conditioned and catered for all our needs.

It’s located about a 20/25min walk from the town. The start of the walk is not well paved, however taxis can easily be arranged.

Absolutely amazing staff, everything so clean and tidy. Katherina especially was just the most lovely, welcoming and helpful staff member. The breakfast every morning was amazing. Overall we had such a great experience and hope to come back one day.

Where the property is located wasn’t ideal and right next to the power station but they have made sure when you are at the pool you don’t even notice it.

The location is 10 minute drive from Monopoli town, away from the busyness and just what we needed. The service is excellent. The staff were friends by the time we left after a week of relaxation. Loved the pool area and the breakfasts and grateful for a spacious free car park. Shout out to Antonella, Maria, Catarina and Mateo.

A lovely, lovely place to stay. Great facilities - the pool area and cabanas were a great place to spend the day and meant you could get shade and sun depending on how you were feeling. The staff were all super-friendly and helpful. We felt very secluded at Residenza il Sole, which was nice, but then great being only a 10 minute taxi from beautiful Monopoli old town as well - the best of both worlds!

Property is beautiful. Swimming pool is excellent and staff are absolutely spectacular. The breakfast was amazing too! Staff so kind and considerate helped when one of us was unwell and collected us from the train. They were just exceptionally good and made our stay!

Rooms could do with a little modernisation. Everything was very clean and there was nothing broken. Taxi required to travel to and from Monopoli town. If going in the summer too hot to walk to town.

Residenza Il Sole is a fabulous little gem of a place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which was a highlight of our visit to Monopoli. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Swimming pool was lovely and clean. Breakfast was lovely. Our room was spacious, and very comfortable.

A small coffee machine in the bedrooms would be a nice touch........ There was a local taxi service available, but they charged €15 each way into Monopoli town centre (a distance of 3km), which, to be honest, is a complete rip-off.

This hotel was totally gorgeous. So relaxing with a stunning pool area and gardens. The breakfast was delicious with a few choices and the staff couldn’t do enough for us with plenty of recommendations.

We didn’t mind the walk into town but it was around 15 ish minutes as there wasn’t a bus close by but wasn’t a major for us as we enjoyed an evening stroll.
