Staff was accommadating for room on ground floor when calling them to confirm the reservation (note - I called 72 hours before the trip out there). The tone of female staff member over the phone conversation was sincere and empathatic which was settling, especially my (adult) sons traveling on their own - one being in a wheelchair. Area was next to CHP office, freeway, Asian supermarket, alot of fast food and variety of restaurants (Thai, American, Mexican/Spanish, Indian/Pakastani, Filipino, Vietnamese, Seafood). Discounted retail stores also near by (dollar Tree / DD discounts) and auto parts store, in case a quart of oil is needed.

The room's TV was not working, so my sons were able to watch TV in the room during the stay. They mentioned something about the TV had no connection to the WiFi, however their phones / laptops were able to so they just used that to watch shows. Room was a bit tight - which luckily my son used his manual wheel chair instead of his motor one, but they didn't mind it too much and made do of the siutation.

Me and partner arrived in separate vehicles. She got lost, called the Inn, and was guided turn by turn by the night clerk. When each of us arrived separately, the night clerk was just the sweetest, nicest person to both of us. She was 6 stars on a 5 star scale.

I would have liked more blanketing on the bed. Not enough towels for the 2 of us. The absolute worst part was you couldn't turn on the shower unless you were inside the shower stall because the sliding door only opened on one side. That meant that you got a blast of cold water before you got hot. The worst engineered shower ever.

For what I expected, Elk Grove met my expectations. First of all, Anish at the reception was very polite and helpful in any way possible. He was very inviting and very quickly helped me get some eating utensils when my food delivery came without any. The room itself was fine. It wasn't big at all, but I needed nothing more. I think the mattress was possibly a little old; maybe they could try rotating it. There was a bit of a dent in it from never moving it. Breakfast was fine. You should be able to find the usual expectations for a breakfast at this kind of hotel. The room was not big, but I expected this. It was just me and I only needed a place to stay for the night. But the shower was good and all the towels bright white and very clean.

The bed. Or, at least, the mattress. There was a dent from the numerous bodies that have laid in that spot. I suspect the hotel could try rotating the mattresses more often.

I appreciated how clean it was. Liked the modern style shower & huge flat screen smart t.v mounted to the wall. The complimentary breakfast was also a plus too. Front desk also communicated to me about around what time i'd be checking in which made me feel confident about my room still being ready for me.

I didn't like the interaction with the front desk when checking in. It wasn't terrible but also wasn't great. However I kept open minded about it probably just being a long day & it being the end of their shift. Something that caught me off gaurd is if you have a guest with you you'll need to provide their i.d also which I guess is understandable knowing it's in a highly human trafficking street, would've just been nice to prepare to have it ready> the inconvenience of going back to the car to get another i.d. The location is also very noisy but what do you expect it is on a busy cross street.

Breakfast was definitely just mediocre. The room had no place to sit down other than an office chair or bed, & to take a shower, you couldn't test the temperature of the water without having to get wet with cold or too hot water. It would help that the shower door closest to the faucets was able to open. The room was on the small size than what I'm accustom to in comparison to other locations that I've stayed in.

This hotel is very clean and has friendly staff. The location isn't the best. If you are from Sacramento, then you would understand more. The location makes you not want to go, but surprisingly it's so peaceful and quiet. Definitely give it a shot!

Nothing I didn't like. It was a perfect stay.

Breakfast was more than I expected . It just needed some hash browns to go with the eggs and sausage they had waffels , cereal, orange juice and fresh coffee. The area was very clean and exceptional. The lady that was taking care of the breakfast area was very nice and helpful. The front desk as well.

location is convenience stuff is friendly

No water provided , when I check in in the evening around 8pm, lobby ran out the water . When I check out around 9am, lobby still no water Staff told me that this location will be closed within 5 days .

I liked that there is an option for a smoking room, I use incense to clear energy and being able to energetically clear my room before I occupied it helped make my stay better

Parking was a bit rough because it was over the weekend and lots of people were partying. Despite that is was still rather quiet

room was super clean, bed was comfortable and staff was kind. Parking was good.

Insulation in room was space therefor you could hear people/tv in other room. Freeway was close (which is great for convince), yet could hear cars.
