This is a jewell of a place! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not luxurious, the room and bathroom was a bit dated, as is the whole place, we don’t mind that and everything is spotlessly clean and functional. The location is perfect: on the main street but set back from the road with room for a carpark and the restaurant/bar terrace. There is very much a ski chalet feel about the front of the hotel. The large Plane trees on the roadside keep the whole place nice and cool in the summer without it feeling dark and I couldn’t ask for a better terrace to sit out drinking on a hot afternoon. Reception was super friendly and familial. The older man was very helpful with my rubbish Spanish and the younger guy was eager to practice his very passable English, all done with smiles and laughter. I wish I could tell you their names. A vast difference from our later experience in the hotel along the road!! We had a very chilled hour on the terrace with a cold beer before a cool siesta followed by a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We stayed here on our way to Barcelona from our home in France. Sadly it was fully booked for our return trip.

Rustic hotel with comfortable enough rooms right along a rushing river. Our room had a balcony, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The room had a big closet and lots of space to put things in the bathroom, too. Some of the decorations were very tasteful, although generally the hotel is getting on in years. The hotel is very close to a street with different shops, cafés and bakeries.

The hotel staff do not speak English very well, so there was a bit of difficulty with communication. There were a lot of spider webs on the balcony, which could have easily been cleaned away by the staff. The front door was often locked, which was inconvenient since we were two people with only one set of keys. Breakfast was mostly just cold cuts and bread.

Great location - especially if there for hiking. Right in the middle of this small town; river directly behind - best to get rooms at the back as I think the front would be a bit noisy. Comfortable bed, decent shower and heating still on in mid April which was very welcome - would have benefited from the entrance stove still being lit I think as chilly in morning. Wi fi very patchy. Decent breakfast. Comfortable, no frills and very good value for money.

This hotel is in a great location on the edge of town with a small parking space that was good to park our motorbike. I’d call the hotel quirky in the best sense of the word. Clean and comfortable. Nice hot shower, window looking over the river with mosquito nets in place.

Thin walls made it a bit noisy.

The hotel is very convenient for short stay in Rib-de-Freser. It is bit aged and old-fashioned but well managed, clean and comfortable. Free own parking located at small yard just in front of the hotel, but number of places is limited. Breacfast was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately hotel restaurant was closed for dinner (probably because of the low season), but there are several good restaurants nearby.

Cosy relaxed atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Perfect location for good wining and dining just 5 mins walk away and 20mins drive to Campdevanol to start the beautiful 'els 7 gorgs' walk. Our room had a small balcony with a nice view over the river.

Noisy couple in the room next door!

The location was exceptional, the little town is nice, the sound of the river over our windows was magical. Everything was so clean and great. It has restaurants and coffee shops close, also you have options at the hotel. Its very close to the cremallera and also 13 min by car to Queralbs.

The only think i would change is the bed, that was not very comfortable and quit little for us.

Great location, cosy place and nice view over the river and mountains which we enjoyed sitting on the terrace, dinner menu was delicious and good value for money and staff was friendly and helpful!

The only slight critique if any would be the small double bed (it was 140 max) that could have been bigger

Don Lino and the other staff were very friendly! We spent New Year there, and they struck a nice balance between putting on events and a party, while keeping a family-friendly environment.

The room was a little bit small, but still very good for the price.

The water from tap is pure with very nice taste. The position is excellent. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The space is beautiful.
