We missed having good internet, but it turned out to be a great chance to switch off and relax away from the busy world.🤭

Who wouldn’t want to stay in a beautiful castle in Italy. In the (almost) one week we stayed, we had it mostly to ourselves. The rooms were well decorated and clean. We enjoyed the pool and exploring the grounds. Breakfast was fresh and traditional.

The ants… there were many ants on the grounds. This place could use some TLC, it’s truly a gem just waiting to flourish.

This place has a special vibe, you really get back in time. Place is closed from the "outside " world, so you have a lot of privacy. Our room had bad insulation, so be ready to hear noises from the outside, but you know, it's 13th century castle, so your experience should be respective. Gast women was amazing 👏 we got best home made breakfast, best mocca and felt her hospitality. Territory around the castle is also amazing. Definitely worth visiting!

Gabriella Is a great host. She gave us all the recommendations we needed. The Castello is in a perfect location just outside the chaos of Otranto in August and still close to drive there if you want to go or to rural places around with nice places for dinner. I will come back!

The location was off the beaten path in a small village. The castle is on the main square with a cafe and store across on the other side. We used it as our home base to travel to beaches and other towns along the southern coast which was perfect. The castle itself was unlike others we've stayed in because it seemed more like a palazzo than a traditional looking castle. It was full of character and charm. Our room was quite large with a balcony overlooking the grounds and a sliver of the village. The grounds are lovely with a beautiful little pool towards the back of the property. A good breakfast was served on the upper terrace with lots of local items.

The faucet for the tub didn't work and a bath would have been nice however, the shower was in good working condition. There were a lot of stairs throughout the castle so if you have any knee issues be aware.

Beautiful home in a quaint town. Loved seeing the men gather every night to chat. Locals were very welcoming. The house and surroundings are beautiful. The garden needs a lots of work but has good bones recommend

shampoo and conditioner would have been good There was no hairdryer

Everything was lovely! The castle is a hidden jem, you must go there! And the stuff and breakfast are just perfect!

Loved our stay here, it felt like living in a museum. The castle is wonderful, and so is the family taking care of it.

The absolute beauty of this amazing place (which was literally like a fairytale) was perfectly complimented by the beautiful team. Everyone was so kind, welcoming and helpful. We’d booked very last minute, so hadn’t had a good chance to fully research the area, but the owners helped us find everything from local car hire, to beach clubs to COVID tests and made our lives sooo much easier. The family who take care of the space and breakfast were absolutely wonderful. So warm and helpful. Our bedroom was absolutely huge! The grounds were like a dream. 100% looking to stay on our next Puglia trip.
