we found this hotel to have spacious rooms, quiet for sleeping, comfortable beds and seating in room and a nice lobby area. the staff was very friendly and helpful. our teen kids enjoyed the indoor pool which is huge and wasn’t busy at all in the winter. the nearby Smithville village is a great spot for cute shops, walking around and restaurants (including an amazing bakery!) we did eat in the seaview dining room and all of us enjoyed the food!

the showers could use an upgrade but honestly it was clean and functioned well so can’t really complain.

This was a great choice for a family vacation with our children and young grandchildren. The hotel is in very good condition and on the posh side, but not so posh that young families do not feel at ease. It was especially helpful to have booked a gigantic premier suite so we could all hang out together in private at night. The hotel also allows dogs, but I was amazed at how dog-friendly it was! We were even able to have our dogs sit with us at the outdoor pool (although not dive in, of course!) The a la carte breakfast, not included, was very good, but the breakfast buffet (available only on the weekend for $22 starting Fri morning) was SENSATIONAL… a chef making omelettes to order, along with a vast, mouthwatering selection of fresh fruit, pastries, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and other delicacies all made in house, I presume! There was an adorable ice cream parlor called Lindy Hops only a short drive away. Also several great family restaurants, including Oyster Creek and Romanelli’s Garden Cafe nearby. We do not golf, but we had so much fun, and so did the kids. Cannot wait to return next year!

The outdoor pool was very large, attractive, and never crowded while we were there, but the water in it was actually much too warm — like bath water. Maybe it was due to the heat wave during our stay. It was also a bit of a drive to get to the beach (Brigantine Beach, the closest one, was about 20 minutes away). At least free beach passes were provided by the hotel… and to our surprise we were able to let our dogs off leash on the dog beach at the very far end of Brigantine because almost no one else was there during the week.

The resort was beautiful and clean and comfortable. The golf courses were gorgeious and in great shape with amazing views of the Bay/ocean and Atlantic City. Food was delicious but a bit pricey. Pool bar was a nice added touch! Disappointed the hot tub/spa was closed.

More food/snack options would be nice and if the hot tub/jacuzzi was not going to be available that would have been helpful to know. Recommendations for outside food options would have been helpful as well.

From the moment you entered the grounds you felt welcome and at home , the whole staff from the valet to the concierge was professional and courteous. They made you feel at home . The food from breakfast to dinner was spot on and very reasonable. I hope my son has another baseball game in that area so we can stay there again !!! Can’t say enough good about this hotel . All of the so called high end hotels should take a lesson from them !!!!

Wish I stayed more than one night !!!!

Hotel is well situated for our needs. Beautiful grounds.

Hotel is primarily setup for corporate meetings. Those meetings take full focus of staff. Individual guests are secondary concern. Not a complaint but main dining room closed, drunks by the pool, construction of platform for meeting going on while relaxing by the pool.

Location is great. All the benefits of being close to concerts, shows and casinos of Atlantic City and beaches of Brigantine - while staying at a top tier golf resort with a rich history and outstanding staff/team.

Customer service was top notch. Everyone asked many times if they could do anything for me. I had a small bag I was carrying and was asked many times if I would like that carried to my room. The valets were friendly and quick with my vehicle.

Not much. Honestly, I understand the high price-I wish it wasn’t so expensive as -I would drive the 4 hours to have a weekend away with my husband or girlfriends at this location.

Loved the location and facilities. Very clean and the staff is great. We had a delicious breakfast both days.

The bed was not comfortable at all. My lower back killed me. In addition, the smell of weed and cigarette smoke was present as you walked on and off the elevators. Other then that, it was great.

It's a beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly and the food was delicious. The room was perfect and the bed was extremely comfortable. We have booked our next stay there already.

It was a little expensive. This time of year they should be offering deals.

The hotel is beautiful, good location. Located near a golf court, boardwalk and ocean city. Our room is pretty spacious, especially the bathroom. It is important for family with kids.

We had breakfast in the dining room, but very disappointed for the food quality. I ordered a Lox sandwich, it comes with cucumber, lettuce. The cucumber spoiled obviously, it was very slimy and disgusting. The lettuce and the smoke salmon not fresh at all. I had a bite and needed to spit it out. One of my kid ordered the avocado toast, he tried one bite of the toast and said the toast smelly. End up we didn’t eat anything from our dishes. Very disappointed. Our room is basically clean but there was soda stain on the door and also some cluster in the shower floor.
