The view from our balcony was incredible and so peaceful. The pool was lovely. The room was great with everything you needed. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was lovely, plentiful and the lovely Chrissie kept it topped up always with a smile, and the tables clean. The reception staff, especially wonderful Sophia and Pollonia were so kind, friendly, loved people and were the nicest people to be around. Nothing was too much and if there was a problem, it was sorted straight away. Also the wonderful man, so sorry I can’t remember his name, who helped with jobs around the hotel was great. I want to say thank you to you all. You made my birthday stay very special and I will never forget your friendly smiles.

Excellent location - 5 mins to a sandy, fairly quiet beach with beach bar (we went end of May/early June.) A 5-10 min walk to main bars/ restaurant (lots of steps which was fine for us but could be a consideration if not very mobile.) View from room was amazing (over the bay and town.) Sophia is an angel, super welcoming at check in and helpful throughout stay. Breakfast was decent, not outstanding but a good amount of choice. Overall great base to explore Batsi and Andros!

Some parts of the hotel are slightly dated but not really a negative as think part of the charm - a modern hotel would be incongruous to the stunning traditional surroundings!

I really enjoyed my stay at Mare Vista Hotel - Epaminondas. From the first minute everything felt welcoming and warm, like being at home. The hotel is beautiful, with authentic Greek style: simple, clean, comfortable, with everything one might need. The location is also great, I had a room with a beautiful sea view. The hotel is very close to the beach. Breakfast had a wide and tasty selection: fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, and fresh bakery every morning. Special thanks to Sophia, the hotel’s administrator — she brings so much light and good mood into everything. Would definitely come back.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the most angelic person- Sophia. To say she was helpful is an understatement! She went over and beyond to help us with issues that weren’t even related to the hotel. Never have I met someone so special who made us feel happy each time we saw her. The hotel is exceptionally lucky to have someone so exceptional representing them. I would go back for that reason in itself. Absolutely amazing! Thank you SO much Sophia!♥️

Overall the hotel has a vintage essence and great design. Location in Batsi so close to nightlife, restaurants and beaches. Plenty of parking spaces for safe parking in the property. Rooms with stunning view from the balcony. The staff was very polite, friendly, helpful and catering our needs

The hotel would need a renovation in some aspects. The music from the bars in Batsi plays until late night so if you prefer quiet sleep you need earplugs.

The breakfast was delicious with many options. We had an ocean view room and it was incredible! The room was small, but we had the patio and overlooked the entire bay, so it was nice waking up in the morning and seeing the sea shining!

The hotel is at the top of the hill and there are many stairs. If you have accessibility limitations, I would not recommend this hotel. We definitely got a work out every time we left and came back!

We had an amazing time at Mare Vista. We stayed for three weeks and it was absolutely perfect. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. There was plenty of water in the bathroom which might be rare on an island (last year we stayed in an other hotel and they would often run out of water). The room is cleaned and fresh towels are provided everyday. The location is great, right above Batsì, one of the main centers of the island. At breakfast there was a wide variety of choice and all food was delicious. All the staff was amazing. A special mention for Sophia who works at the reception. She’s a very kind and friendly woman whom now we can call a friend. She has a lovely dog, Leonidas, we would have taken him back home with us but he loves his mama too much and so does she 🤣 We’ll always cherish the wonderful moments we had at Mare Vista. Eukaristó, everybody!

They upgrated our room and we had a beautiful spacious room with all our needs more than satisfied. An amazing relaxing huge balcony with an outstanding view of all Batsi. And a very welcoming and helpful receptionist! Thank you! We are coming back for sure!

The breakfast was poor and the food that supposed to be warm, it was cold. However that doesn't ruin at all our beautiful accomodation. Everything else was great.:)

This hotel was perfect. Everything was amazing. The staff, Sophia made our trip amazing. The hotel is in a perfect location and has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was included and had lots of options. We would come back and stay here anytime.

Sophia was amazing! Helped us with any questions and with hiring a car and giving us advice on where to visit on Andros. The hotel also organised a taxi to collect us from the port. All the staff were really lovely. Good breakfast, large pool, beautiful views and a short walk down to the town and beach - great!

It would have been nice to have had plates and cutlery in the room for preparing food as there is a fridge and microwave. The room (budget family apartment) didn't have a tumble drier and there was a limited view but it was great for us for 3 nights.
