The owners are very friendly and nice people. Great location but Chiusi is small. Large and quiet room with minibar. Good, spacious shower. Very pretty and cozy garden, where you can have breakfast and maybe a glass of wine. Unstable Wi-Fi, comes and goes. The room, on the top floor, was like this. Downstairs at the reception and breakfast seemed better. Breakfast was good with lots of sweets, but also unsweetened yogurt, nuts and cold cuts. There was a lack of fresh fruit and more of the savory part. Difficulty: Stairs to get to the room: 2 floors. The owners give you several keys, and the one that opened the door that gives access to 2 rooms was difficult to open and made me give up going out at night. They had already warned me and I advise anyone who goes to ask to be shown what it's like, in person.

Price a little expensive for what it offers: I've stayed in good hotels in Italy with all the comforts for less. But there are not many accommodation options in Chiusi and this B&B is of above average quality. The service provided by the owners is a highlight, they are very attentive and helpful

The B & B is in a palazzo dating back to the 1600's, with original murals on the walls and ceiling of each room that date back to 1614, and are in excellent condition. The furniture and other decor are thoughtfully chosen to go along with that. Our host was the daughter of the couple who usually run the place, covering for them while they were away. She was eager to help, but a little overwhelmed. There are beautiful gardens out back, and free parking. The breakfast had the best croissants we've tasted on this trip.

Bathroom door wouldn't fully close. There was lots of street noise (a big festival was on the night we stayed). There was no comfortable chair in our room. The clawfoot tub had a sort of strange shower arrangement with a conical tent-like curtain.

This is a great place run by a lovely couple! It is very beautiful and relaxing because of the big garden with lazy chairs and a jacuzzi. We spend two nights in the junior suite facing the garden, it was very comfortable. Donatella is a pastrychef and the breakfast was completely amazing, it was perfect with beautiful cakes with a lot of love put in them. I would give them an 11 of it was possible and advise everyone to go here!!

Breakfast was fabulous. Large assortment of freshly made pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, croissants, a fresh fruit tart, juice, prosciutto, cheese, ham, coffee & tea. Beautiful airy breakfast room with linen service. A true delight and a treat to linger over and savor. The rim was spacious and appointed with a supremely comfortable bed, a view of the garden, and a spotless, fully appointed bathroom with plenty of hot water. The rooms are filled with beautiful antiques, original fireplaces, 100+ year old pieces of art, furniture, fireplace, and pottery. Do look up- the frescoes on The ceilings are not to be missed. Incredible host & hostess (husband & wife) are simply charming, and entirely at your service. Their garden is drop dead gorgeous filled with beautiful roses.

Everything exceeded expectations!

Exceptional breakfast, with daily homemade cakes, and delicious local produce, that we had in the villa’s most beautiful garden. The owners are wonderfully generous and helpful people, who made our stay very special indeed. I can’t wait to go back to Residenza Dei Ricci again! The location is absolutely perfect too. Truly wonderful stay.

 ONE OF A KIND HOSTS IN JEWEL OF A GUEST The hospitality and kindness of Donatella and Raphael has no limit. Every need of guests are handled with ease, special requests quickly satisfied. All of it comes so naturally to these consummate hosts. A ride to the train station, suggestion for a wine tour, a recommendation for a special restaurant made our stay a memorable experience. These are truly beautiful people who provide a memories not just a room for sleeping. Five star service! The historic guest house is as special as are the hosts. Every sleeping room, the lobby, sitting and breakfast rooms are appointed with wonderfully presented antiques. Bistro tables in the garden are an outdoor alternative for enjoying Donatella’s breakfast pastries prepared daily. A trained pastry chef her delights call for second helpings. Walking in the gardens cause guests to decompress. This is a peaceful and unrushed retreat located within steps of Chiusi’s primary attractions. Utterly charming B&B run by a lovely couple. Amazing property - spectacular garden where they serve the yummiest continental breakfast, all made in house. Charming traditional style rooms, super clean. The couple have 3 beautiful small dogs, very well behaved. The property is a 5 minute walk from all the key historic sites. Such a refreshing change to actually be hosted by owners you get to meet and interact with and who make you feel so welcomed.

Staying at this historic building was a delight. Our host Julia was especially helpful and accommodating. The room was beautiful, spotless and charming. The bed and linens were very comfy. Breakfast was a lovely presentation and delicious. Everything we could want. Building is in the small town of Chur which you can walk around easily. We had the most wonderful meal just a 5 minute walk from our room

This is a special place. The perfect antidote to the standard, chain hotels. This property has been in the same family for ages, it has been beautifully renovated with such style and comfort. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in years. The owners are charming and welcoming . I was very sad to leave

What a wonderful Residenza! Everything was clean, confortable. It is an very old house, palace, with old furniture, you can live like in a museum. Even a piano in the living room. Breakfast was amazing, with best quality cheese and charcuterie, tomatoes. And the best was pastry chef Donatella, the owner, who made excelent sweets, different, fresh every morning. Mr. Rafael was very helpful with informations, prenotations if you need. Parking in their yard, very conviniant. Thank you again.
