The endlessly warm welcoming all the time. The divine views. You feel like Home. Like hugged and pampered all the tine. You can’t get that in the picture. I can’t express all that beauty, taste, care what was there. Kindness from everyone. The Manager is there and all the time taking care about the guests, playing piano, drinking wine and lets You swim in the pool in the night under the stars with quiet music. ❤️ This is the place where I can say - You can have the universe, if I can have The Italy. Go there and stay there at least week, cause You will want to stay there, and just feel the nature, views and calmness.

Staying at Porsenna felt like stepping into a fairy tale. It offers breathtaking views of rolling grasslands, a tranquil lake, and the kind of peace and quiet. The surroundings were absolutely magical—lush green fields stretching as far as the eye could see, with the gentle sounds of nature all around.The atmosphere was calm, soothing, and deeply refreshing. It’s the perfect escape for anyone seeking rest, inspiration, or just a break from the noise of daily life. I left with a heart full of peace and unforgettable memories.

Cannot say enough good things about Porsenna! We felt so taken care of the whole time (a most special shout-out to Meli, Ana, and Rocco)! The backdrop is so dreamy, quiet, peaceful and breathtaking! Driving distance to so many beautiful towns and wineries. The restaurant was absolutely delicious, we ate there every night! Rocco playing the guitar and singing every evening was a highlight of our trip! Can’t wait to go back soon!

The view all around was spectacular, the breakfast and dinner selection was very tasty and good. Very friendly owner and staff. The young lady (I forget her name) that initially checked us in was the best part of our stay. She spent time to talk to us about life in that area and gave us a wonderful perspective on daily life there. She made our stay. The room was perfect and we can tell that the owner pays close attention to make sure his guests have the best experience. You should stay here. You won’t regret it!

Nothing not to like

The breakfast at Porsenna was amazing! Coming into breakfast was such a highlight of our morning as there was so much to choose from. There was a variety of fruits, yogurts, pastries, and breads. I especially loved the bread pudding and yogurt cups with berries. You could also get some juices as well and the view when you sit to eat is so beautiful and peaceful. The staff is always so accommodating and friendly. We had mostly a younger girl with a low ponytail that was always super nice. Thank you so much. You can also order eggs and other things for breakfast and enjoy a coffee or tea with your meal.

We really have nothing bad to say about Porsenna. It was our first time there and the entire experience was a dream. We even stayed an entire day lazying by the pool area and it almost felt as if it were our private stay. Already waiting to come again next September!

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The location on top of a hill, with 360° views is stunning. Beautifully manicured grounds, lovely pool and the room was spacious, very clean and elegantly furnished. The breakfast buffet offered lots of variety including homemade cakes, fresh fruit and eggs made to order. Served on the terrace, it was a great way to start the day. We also ate lunch and dinner here twice during our stay and everything was delicious. The real highlight for us though was the staff; they are so welcoming and incredibly gracious. Paula and Harald deserve special mention, as nothing was too much trouble for them. We are so grateful to Harald especially for driving us to the train station when our taxi failed to arrive for our VERY early departure. Thank you so much! Needless to say, we would stay at Porsenna Resort again without hesitation.

Everything was fabulous!

Porsenna Resort is an amazing place. Fantastic location if you prefer calm and peaceful spot to spend your holidays. It also has a great location for trips to Rome or other smaller cities around the area. The resort has beautiful views looking over close by lake and green fields. The rooms are big enough. The pool is great and has sufficient sun-beds and little pool house to hide in shade. The food served in the restaurant for dinner is really tasty. The staff is exceptionally nice, helpful and friendly.

Little storage spaces in the room, almost none. That was very disappointing. Also there is no fridge in the room which is sad especially in the hot Italian summers. Also despite the good breakfast there was only sweet stuff you can choose from and the rest, for example ham, cheese, eggs needed to be ordered from the staff and the food you then received was little poor quality and very small. On the other hand the sweet stuff such as pastries, cakes etc., were really tasty and great. I would suggest also to have selection at least of basic vegetables and ham as well as cheese for the guests to just take rather than asking all the time to order.

Lovely place! The staff was very friendly, the facilities were great. We spent a very relaxing few days with our baby and would definitely recommend it. The outdoor pool also had a covered area, which made it ideal to host our 2 months old baby in the shade.

Nothing to highlight. I would just recommend the hotel restaurant to have a few lighter options for lunch such as sandwiches, salads, dips or bowls as Italian food might be a bit heavy in the summer temperatures.

This place is amazing!!! Everything is green all around, there are a lot of seating areas with the best view. Everything is designed to the smallest details, the rooms are big and comfortable, the food is great, the staff are the most welcoming and so friendly! The pool is amazing in the sunny weather. The environment is so relaxing, classical music playing around the shared spaces. We loved everything about this place, truly 10/10!

A great place to stay in the middle of tranquil Tuscan countryside. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, the food was great at the restaurant too. Rooms are spacious and has everything you need.

It is quite remote so having your own car is a plus as taxis can be difficult to arrange. The spa was closed for refurbishment, otherwise there isn't much to do at the resort except relax and enjoy the views.
