Our stay was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Claudio made us feel right at home - his hospitality is truly unmatched. The room was spotlessly clean, with beautiful hardwood parquet flooring and thoughtful touches throughout. We loved the scenic views from every window in our room, and we enjoyed the great continental breakfast. The bathroom felt luxurious, and having a fridge in the room, the extra long bed, and USB charging sockets near the bed added a layer of comfort and convenience. The hotel’s commitment to sustainability impressed us, and the recycling bins in the room were a great touch. Our room was a smoke-free, soundproof family room with air conditioning, which made it perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Fast, free Wi-Fi and a sleek flat screen TV kept us connected and entertained. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for comfort, style, and superb service.

Claudio, the owner and manager of Antico Sipario, is contagiously enthousiastic and very, very hospitable. In addition, he's full of tips about the surroundings. You can ask anything you want to know about the region. Breakfast is a mix of local specialities (including the family's own olive oil) and contintental breakfast. You can ask for more or less of any of the ingredients and vent your own wishes.

Beautiful location and surrounding areas. Claudio was an exceptional host and gave lovely recommendations and told us about the history of the area. Went above and beyond for us. Stunning room with an amazing view. Delicious breakfast and excellent value. Overall our favourite place we stayed on our travels and I hope to be back again!!

Great hotel with friendly staff Claudio who can help you with anything you asked, such as restaurant nearby, place to visit, even my rental car issues. It was great experience stay in a very peaceful hotel which I never imagined before. By the way, the breakfast was super, Claudio made best scrambled egg I ever had in my life. So we requested for second time on next day and he gave us more…

Wonderful artistic hotel in a small beautiful village. Claudio is the best host ever, he helped us with a lot of information - where to go, what to see, in which restaurants to try the local food. Our room was always clean and very comfortable. It was our first time in Umbria and really hope to come back again some day!

Everything was just perfect!

The Antico Sipario Hotel is full of character and charm (and air conditioning!). Claudio was an exceptionally welcoming and helpful, serving delicious home cooked breakfasts in the leafy garden and making sure that he was available for anything that I might need. Highly recommended.

This little hotel is a hidden gem at the border of Tuscany and Umbria! There is so much history behind the building in which the hotel is located also. Claudio and his family make the most welcoming hosts - very friendly! And the breakfast is all fresh and made by local produce - delicious! Would definitely stay here again when visiting the region.

Parking, just outside of the village walls, wqs easy and just a short distance from the hotel. The decor was very interesting, linked to theatre and music...which reflects the history of the building. The owner is extremely friendly and eager to share information about the hotel and the village. He speaks several languages. Where you have breakfast (excellent, with home made jam), you can also have aperitifs in the evening. An added bonus is the lift. It is a very attractive, historical, village. There are a couple of restaurants in the village and we had a very good meal at Manfreddis. There are many interesting places to visit nearby, including Panicale, Castilione del Lago...and the lake.

There are few words that can describe, just how fantastic both the owner, Claudio and the hotel are. I have been to 50+ countries and this hotel and staff have placed number one in my travels. I almost cried upon departure ... Beyond my own expectations. 6 stars if possible.
