the impressions of the hotel are wonderful! the hotel staff is very friendly, kind and always ready to help. we were informed about all possible types of transport to the airport. the hotel itself has a bus schedule. all employees know English and speak it fluently. the hotel interior is very cozy, it feels like home. everything is very clean. the rooms are cleaned every day. the hotel provides towels for personal use in the rooms, and also provides towels for the beach. air conditioning, TV. the TV shows TV channels of other countries. The hotel is located close to the sea, about 1 minute walk, there are grocery stores and a pharmacy nearby. The pool in the hotel is clean and the perfect depth. There is also a children's pool. Next to the pool there is a shower, and also an underground toilet (to get to it you have to go down the stairs). Everything is very clean. There are a lot of sun loungers, very comfortable. A good selection of products for breakfast. There is a bar. Externally, the hotel looks very authentic, in the Greek style. I really liked this place, we will definitely come again. Very kind and good people, wonderful place.

breakfast is good. you can find most of the thing for breakfast. hotel is old but they made renovations some part of the hotel location is perfect. beach is close to hotels are very good. most of other good beach's are also 10 minutes by car. there are very good restaurant around the hotel ten minutes by walk. they have car park. we didn't use but they have also bar inside of the hotel and price's are good owner of the hotel is very kind. thanks for the gift and good restaurant suggestion cleaning is very good. they also have pool but we didn't use. for wifi connection we didn't have any problem. on breakfast time, connection is little bit slow but during the day connection is stable enough to make some meeting on computer

The location does not get any better than this… it is right in the middle of Kefalos. This hotel is one of the cleanest we have stayed in, the bed was huge and super comfy (the best we’ve had in Greece). Great pool with plenty of sunbeds, lots of parking and just a really chilled nice vibe. Breakfast has everything you could want to eat and drink. The owners Nitsa and Vasillis (and their staff) are people that can do anything without a fuss, we had the most excellent time here and will 100% be returning (if we can get in, it’s very popular with returners) which to me says everything you want to hear. 100% recommended❤️. This hotel is up there with some of the best.we popped in a week before we were due to stay.from walking into reception you just felt this is a nice friendly hotel absolutely spotless.we were offered a drink and this is before we had even stayed there.so off we went a few days later to nisyros.for a 4 night stay.on returning to the hotel to stay we knew how comfortable we would feel and we did..shown to our room 24., double balcony front sea facing and rear balcony.fridge kettle iron air con tv in room.washing machine in downstairs laundry room.ideal €1 euro 20 mins so ideal if you want to wash anything through before returning home or to wear next day.breakfast room really pleasant and absolutely spotless.a good selection of food on offer.and just a tip when you have finished with your plates dishes etc carry them into the kitchen.why because it keeps the cost down of having to employee Xtra staff.which in return gives the the residents a better price.bedroom was cleaned regularly and towels changed.at night on return to the hotel there is a well stocked bar so relax have a drink.there are house rules and why not respect that this maybe a hotel but also a home.this hotel has year after year repeat customers.one I believe over 20yrs years.on the whole I cannot recommend this hotel enough for us it was sad to leave behind such nice owners and a beautiful hotel.with the promise.we will be back god willing.

Hotel Kokalakis is situated in Kefalos and has a prime central seafront position. A few steps from the hotel you can choose to turn left to the ancient ruins or right to the harbour both walks seafront with spectacular views!! Or you can choose to explore Kefalos village up the hill too!! Hotel Kokalakis is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are bright and spacious and the reception/ bar area clean, bright and airy. The terrace area is spotless as is the good sized pool perfect for relaxing and taking in the sea view!! Breakfast is a selection of continental with plenty of choice, many items homemade or home grown delicious and presented beautifully. All items covered or displayed in a cooler fridge making sure whatever time you choose breakfast it remains fresh. Nitsa, her husband and all the staff work very hard to ensure all guests have a wonderful stay!! We can’t wait to return😊

The lady at the reception was very friendly and attentive. On the first day, I had an allergic reaction on my leg due to a sunscreen, which had never happened to me before. I went to the reception to ask if there was a pharmacy nearby and showed her the affected area. She kindly gave me a cream, and it truly healed the allergic reaction in just two days. I’m very grateful. The hotel’s location is great—it’s right across from the bus stop. There are markets, a beach, and restaurants just across the street. If you want to go out for a drink at night, there are plenty of nice places within walking distance. If I were to come back, I would definitely stay here again. I've already recommended this hotel to everyone looking for a budget-friendly holiday. Thank you for everything!

Very nice small family run hotel near Kefalos beach. The rooms were cleaned every day.Also the pool area was always clean. Breakfast was good. The hotel is looked after by a very nice couple who are happy to advise anyone if needed. Parking at the hotel was free for hotel guests. There is a bus stop right by the hotel for the airport and Kos town. The buses run very infrequently. You need to check the schedule right at the bus stop. There are many good traditional restaurants nearby and also 2 supermarkets are right next to the hotel. We were very satisfied at Hotel Kokalakis. I hope we will go back there again, but for a longer time.

From the moment I arrived I was welcomed and made to feel like a valued guest, born out by the fact that I didn't have to pay extra for air conditioning (essential) and safety deposit box. Nitsa is so helpful and always happy to assist with any advice or information. My room was comfortable and cleaned every day, along with a view to die for across kefalos bay. Breakfast was a substantial buffet (try real greek yoghurt. You'll never want supermarkey greek'style' yoghurt again!), always fresh every day. The hotel is spotless along with the pool area with enough sunbeds so you don't need to put your towels out before dawn (although there are always some muppets who feel they need to!) Location is central for all the local bars and tavernas but quiet come night time for a relaxing night's sleep.

The owners were absolutely amazing, greeting us with warm smiles and a delightful welcome drink that set the tone for our stay. Their hospitality didn’t end there; they also offered us a refreshing leaving drink, making our departure just as pleasant as our arrival. Throughout our stay, the owners were constantly working hard to ensure we felt at home and had a memorable vacation. Their dedication to guest satisfaction is truly commendable. Our bungalow was perfect in every way. It was incredibly spacious, featuring not one but two outdoor spaces just for us. These private areas were ideal for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was everything we needed to start our day on the right foot. The variety was impressive, catering to all tastes with fresh fruits, creamy yogurt, perfectly cooked eggs, a selection of pastries, and an array of juices. A special mention goes to the delicious Greek bread – a must-try! The owner was always attentive, promptly replenishing items as soon as they ran out, ensuring everything remained fresh and abundant. A traditional Greek hotel with an authentic warm welcome from Nitsa and her small team. The hotel was exceptionally clean both inside and around the pool area. The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is continental with fresh fruit, breads, yoghurt, boiled eggs, preserves, cereals- plenty of choice. The hotel location is perfect for the beach and restaurants with the bus stop right outside.

The filter coffee at breakfast wasn't great but I'm fussy and it was a minor thing really.
