We stayed at the Crusader over Memorial Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised how close to the beach we were and that it was only a 15-minute walk to the Boardwalk. It has a nice clean outdoor pool that is well-maintained and provides clean towels and lounge chairs. Our room for a family of five was just right with two queen beds and a pullout couch/bed in the living room. Our room also had many of the towels folded into adorable flowers and a great view of the beach/shore. Parking is available right around the building as well as on the street, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. One night, there was a very heavy rain storm. Since our back door was facing the beach, some water crept in through the bottom of the door. We were able to stop the leak with towels and called housekeeping who provided a door guard that soaks up water in case it happened again. For the price we paid, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others as well.

Staff is very friendly, always attentive. Facility is always kept clean and organized.

The rooms on the street side need a little work. The air conditioner is so close to the beds that they blow right on you and makes it uncomfortable. The refrigerator make a humming high pitch noise that got a little annoying but tolerable. This is me knitpicking because this is our favorite hotel and we love it so much. We got this room last minute on booking.com so you get what you get.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful. Traveling with two young boys having a playground so close was great too. The pool was clean and our entire vacation was great. Another big plus was having the restaurant on site with good food.

Nights were cool. I pulled out a blanket to use one night and it seemed to me it needed washed. The blanket probably could be replaced, next time I will bring my own.

The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, and everything you need is within easy reach. The convenience of having shops, restaurants, and attractions so close made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway."

My only complaint is how small the bathroom is in your room.

The property was close to everything! Walking distance to the boardwalk and right in front of the beach! The staff was absolutely amazing, so accommodating, and kind. They were so helpful, and just made our stay 10x more amazing. The room was super clean and comfortable. The pool was beautiful. The crowd was nice. Overall the trip was a 10/10. We loved the Crusader! It was our first time staying there and definitely won’t be the last!

It’s close to the beach, boardwalk and other restaurants. Even the marina for a dolphin cruise was within walking distance. The pool area is huge. The staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day.

The beds were hard to adjust to. They were hard and not the most comfortable. Not a deal breaker, my husband and I are used to softer beds.

We loved the office staff, they are always there to answer any questions we have, I thought I lost my knee brace, but when I called them back to check if I might have left it there, they checked, and the cleaning staff had found it in our room, and I asked them if they could hold it there for me because we would be coming back to stay early June 🤗can’t wait! The rooms were cleaned, the beds, and pillows were comfortable, the cleaning staff are always friendly, and helped us with anything we had asked, loved the sauna, and heated pool, and will definitely tell my family, and friends Crusader’s should be on there list to stay when visiting Wildwood Crest NJ❤️❤️👍👍

They could use comforters on the beds, they would be warmer, and cozy for there guest too👍

Exceptional location, near the beach, bike rentals, tennis/ baseball courts, playground and walking distance to the boardwalk. Restaurant on site for breakfast and lunch. I prefer lunch over breakfast ( tastier)

I don't like that you must booking ahead of time for your vacation because it get hard to find room for specials dates. Mostly of the time ,no vacancy.

Room was clean, staff was great, the. 2 full beds were very uncomfortable both left with our backs out of wack and water pressure was terrible in room 116, and the restaurant attached was closed, lots around 2 do, still good value for money.

The little cafe on the lobby level had fantastic food. The pool, awnings, and room were all very clean! Location was excellent.

The faucet in our bathroom must have been loose; it sprayed a little bit of water. Nothing concerning enough to tell someone about it. Beds were also a bit too squishy for our taste, but that may just be a preference.
