Grandson loved the jacuzzi tub, pool was great, great kitchen if you want to cook. Staff kept us supplied with fresh towels and if we needed something they responded quickly. Location is very close to the beach. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Had a large family group next to us that took up several rooms and they overwhelmed the common walkways outside of their rooms and were very noisy. They also overwhelmed the pool when they were all in there together. It was difficult getting into the jacuzzi tub to take a shower since the sides were high and we are older. Rooms were a little smaller than expected and could use more drawer space for storing clothing. There were only 3 of us and it was tight with a weeks worth of clothing.

Location was excellent, so close to the beach. The staff at the check in desk were very friendly and informative. The beds were very comfortable. Having the kitchenette was so much better than staying in a hotel! It was very helpful having the luggage carts available at check in. I really liked how close the Shalimar was to the boardwalk as well as Cape May. 

The parking spots are horrible! It was virtually impossible to unpack the vehicle in the tiny parking spaces. It would be very helpful if there could be hooks on the back of the bathroom door as well as the bedroom door. Any hotel or resort that I have ever stayed in always has some kind of a binder on the table, letting you know of the areas activities , restaurants , entertainment etc… it would have been nice to have that at the Shalimar. 

I love the location, the staff was amazing from the reception desk to the housekeeping staff. They were outstanding, friendly, helpful, attentive. I was really pleased with my stay. I love the fact that they have grills so that you may bbq if you'd like.(they provide the gas)

Well, the downside was that all the machines in the laundry room were out of service. I'd be nice if I could dry my towels everyday (they do provide you with towers I must say). The second thing is the checkout time. I find it extremely early. By 12 it'd be perfect.

Elevator luggage carts spacious rooms. We have been staying in the crest for over 10 years and this was by far the best we have stayed in. We left the room around 11 and the cleaning lady asked if we needed anything and if we would like her to make up the room. So nice.

Our room was by the corn hole and they did not enforce the 10 pm quiet time which if we would have had a noise maker we would have been fine. And the towels were scratchy so we would just say bring your own if that bothers you.

Location was good and near the beach. Pool was fun. Beds were comfortable and had a pull out sofa. Also liked the full size refrigerator,

Our room was older so 113 definitely needs a new toilet. The whole thing moved. Luckily we don't weigh that much! :)

Everyone at the Shalimar was welcoming, friendly & ALWAYS there for their guests!! BEST place .. HIGHLY recommend. Front desk was very welcoming & informative. Management was superb .. always available to guests to assure their needs were met. Rooms were immaculate & housekeeping was the best. The grills were cleaned daily to impeccable condition! The pool was always maintained to immaculate condition. The overall grounds were very clean & well kept. A GREAT place! Cant wait to go back!!!

There is NOTHING negative about Shalimar. Will definitely go back there!

The staff were all (except for one upon check-in) super nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The Jitney bus route runs along side the hotel so there was no problems trying to find it

Every time the upstairs neighbor flushed the toilet you could hear in the sewer pipe that ran inside the wall in our unit, the Maintence guys decided 6am was the perfect time to work of the ventilation system, and had to find out the most time consuming way possibly that just because this hotel offers a laundry room doesn’t mean that everything works

From the moment we walked in on Friday night for Jeep Invasion, the staff was exceptionally friendly. The lobby was bright and cheery. Our room was a good size considering we weren't planning on spending a lot of time in it. We loved the balcony and my girlfriend especially loved all the towel folds each day.

The only thing I can think of is that the parking spaces were a little tight.

It was big and clean the only thing that we didn’t like there was a huge lodge that booked there the whole weekend and They had a dj and took up all of the grills is said their was a time limit but they said they had a different arrangement and they could use it how ever long they liked they played loud music all night long and we could hear it from the room like it didn’t stop until 3 am the whole weekend it would of been nice if we were informed that a large party was booked the same time as us

Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Location is great. Had all the amenities needed. Happy to come back.
