this was our two year old Yorkies first hotel experience and he was so welcomed and the vibe was so chill .. he loved meeting the other pets and all of the owners were such a good vibe, which I can only attribute to Ms Leslie who ran the front desk when we arrived there. my son and I loved the pool and that we could both take a dip together while our pup rested in the room. some accommodations are pet friendly but wont let you leave yr pet for even a small period of time so this is a huge plus for the beach colony. I loved that its literally steps from the gorgeous five mile beach and a $3 car ride to MudHen or a walk to the Avalon coffee and bagel shop at the Jolly Roger. it was just an absolute magical experience and a total bang for yr buck. we got a last minute room that could have comfortably suited four adults for the price we paid for myself and our son - and it still felt like a deal for us. Leslie is just wonderful and it really felt like we were staying in a small chill beach villa as opposed to being strangers on the road.

we loved everything about it

Leslie, Property Manager was awesome to deal with on all accounts. The location was close enough to so many things yet far enough away to be quiet at night for relaxing and sleep. Can not say enough good things about this place AND pet friendly. For all the families with or without pets, guests were friendly, all pooches under control. The pool was a nice size and sparkling clean. The housekeeping staff was fabulous. They really kept the whole property clean and not just the rooms. Can not say enough about this facility. It was an all around wonderful experience.😃

Clean, dog friendly, good location

One of the three rooms was supposed to have an ocean view and they gave us a different room. When we asked we were told there are no ocean views at all which wasn’t correct. There are two rooms on the second level where the catwalk leading to those rooms face the ocean. We asked to switch and were told if we put our bags down we weren’t allowed to switch. Very disappointed otherwise it was an okay stay.

It is very clean, close to the beach, has a pool and that it’s pet friendly!

It needs a little upgrading!

The pool was nice. The owner was very nice. I didn't have my dog but saw that people who brought their pups with them were given free treats. The room was mostly clean.

The room was waaaay over priced. The A.C. was ok but would shut off and the room would immediately become stuffy and warm. So weird. The sheets were extremely thin and stained but it's a motel so, whatever. The fridge wasn't plugged in so that took time to get cold. The microwave was plugged in and the cables were just dangling. The TV remote just stopped changing channels all of the sudden. Didn't touch it. Just wouldn't change for anything. Thin walls and floors. I heard everything. Not really their fault though.

Beds comfortable and good water pressure. Check in was pleasant. Received call and was concerned we were later then expected. Lots of space in the room.

Lighting with one lamp that was outdated. Had to unplug to charge phone at night. Larger refrigerator would be nice. Had to use coolers. Lots of rules I was unaware of until arrival. Coffee would have been nice with the coffee maker. Cost was much higher then expected based on 192 a night.

We could bring our dog with us. Very clean pool. Staff was great so close to the beach the room was outdated and because our 2 older son and nephew did not want to share a bed we rented a cot that worked would stay again since pet friendly

Rooms are outdated and since it was the 4 th of July weekend paid 500 one night I did not think it was worth that

The pool was very nice, good size and quiet. Loved going to the beach and loved that it was easy to walk to. The beach was very well kept, clean and the people around me were nice, mostly families. I loved that the hotel is dog friendly. I liked all of the people i met staying at the hotel.

I would have preferred a check out a little later than 10 am.

Staff and facility made it a positive experience. Management was very accommodating as I was traveling with young child. Had to book an additional room last minute. Leslie worked it out and arranged both rooms next to each other. Totally eased the stress of the trip.

It was clean and near the beginning of the boardwalk. Once we reach the boardwalk, we can take the tram car. It also has a pool which was a nice size and well kept.

Nothing really… the people staying there were not a rowdy crowd, and the staff was nice
