Beach and room.

No internet at all in room 218. I complained a few times about it. No update. The access point is not working as it should. Our phones could connect to the wifi in the hallway and on the balcony, not in the room. The employees at the front desk who I talked to were not very courteous. There were not enough lounge chairs at the pool in the afternoon.

Loved having the option to use shuttle that would take you anywhere in Avalon or Stone Harbor. I also loved that the Blessed Mother statue was visible outside indicating owners are proud of their faith.

Towels given at pool and beach are so small. They are much smaller than a bath towel. The pool AND hot tub are “crazy” with Tons of kids. I didn’t mind the kids, however if you are there for a ”spa” type environment it’s not for you. Pool water could have been warmer.

We love the atmosphere and the convenience of everything! The staff was wonderful. The beach staff did a great job setting up umbrellas and chairs

Making these minor suggestions: when the staff is aware of scheduled weddings onsite, reservations outside the wedding guests should not be on first floor. The first floor should be used for wedding guests. When booking at Icona in the future I will request not to be assigned a room on the first floor. Icona reception staff should also be able to identify returning guests! We were at this resort in June and booked again for September. We have been going to Icona for the last 3 years!

The facility was lovely, clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Meals in the restaurant were excellent and a great value for the price. Parking was very convenient. Pool had very convenient seating area with food delivered right to our chairs.

Facilities are inconvenient for older people. For example, the 3 chairs in the bedroom had no arms, so getting in/out of them was impossible. Had to move chair close to bed/furniture in order to stand up. Bathroom had no safety bars near toilet. I had to use the lobby restroom - even in the middle of the night - in order to urinate. I have arthritic knees and cannot stand without something to hold on to. TV channels impossible to access.

The amenities! Having beach service, the shuttle to shopping in stone Harbor, onsite restaurants and parking! Worth every extra penny you’d pay for a block away lol.

It’s a popular wedding destination location. The wedding crowds were drunk! They dominated the pool and were acting ridiculous. Some were rude. Some acted like they owned the place and it was ALL about them like no one else could vacation. So annoying

We had a King Studio, which had a sofa bed. The sofa bed was terrible and very lumpy, so one person had to just sleep on just the couch itself. The King Studio is advertised as accommodating four people, but not if only one person can sleep on the couch. We paid a lot of money for the room and it should have been comfortable and accommodating.

It was very clean and pleasant to be in the hotel. You could hear the sound of the ocean in the room, it was incredible. There was delicious food in the pub next door. Near is an incredible beach! I recommend this place for travel!

Breakfast was delicious and loved eating outdoors!

It would have been nice to get complementary water bottles like we did when we stayed at the ICONA Windrift. $5.00 a bottle was ridiculous

Rooms are a good size and beach access is great. Pool bar is very nice and service was very good.

Beds are mushy soft. I asked for a different mattress as the front desk said some mattresses are old. They did not have replacements unfortunately.

The food from the Pub was absolutely delicious! The rooms always seem fresh and new. The staff was wonderfully attentive, and the beachfront location was extraordinary!

It was perfect—always is!
