Great location and great bagel/smoothie place downstairs, nice porch with chairs looking out. Beach is right across the street and the hotel has beach towel rentals. Rooms were cleaned daily but usually not until past noon. Room is a good size for 2 people and I loved how there were many mirrors which made getting ready at the same time easier. I also liked that there were two of those things you can set your luggage on. Staff were mostly friendly some people at the front desk were nice especially the nice lady who checked us in. She asked if we would like a storage shelf hanger hung up in our room since the closet space was small and set it up for us. Our housekeeper did a good job tiding the rooms. The room had like 3 trash cans I was impressed but I do think that since the hotel emphasizes recycling they should just designate one of the three as a recycling only bin instead of asking us to keep it out of the bin entirely. Also we had a little window AC. There was also a big AC above the room door on the wall but we couldn't find the remote so we assumed it wasn't for us to use. Window AC worked well but it is noisy. It doesn't bother me as I lived in Boston and survived off of these kinds of ACs but if you're a guest who is sensitive to sound it could bother you

Definitely pricey but so is entire Cape May. Only thing I'd say is our bathroom had some 5 or 6 ants pop up over the 3 nights we stayed there. I think there must be an opening somewhere in the bathroom near the sink but personally it didn't bother me we were barely in the room anyways and they were never in the actual bedroom.

The staff was great, very friendly. I purchased a bottle of wine since i was not feeling to leave. It was a little pricey but then the experience and confidence paid off. They brought it out to me while i was relaxing on the deck in a cooling container with glasses. The taste was great and ambience. The location was great. You can walk right across the street to the beach and places to eat. There is a coffee /breakfast/smoothie place right downstairs in the hotel. The hours are limited so if you want more coffee then there is a place a block away. About 15 min walk to the downtown cute little area with mom and pop shops and restaurants. I would love to come back. Plus the price was GREAT!

Wish the coffee small restaurant was open longer. There is a nice fancy restaurant too there but pretty pricey. I only rated a 9 since i do wish there was a microwave to heat up food since we eat in as well take out food.

Excellent location & friendly staff. Overall very clean and maintained. Bagel time was packed and plenty of dining locations nearby. Easy walk to town for people watching and directly across from beach entry point and tag purchase stand ($10). Adequate parking in side lot and rear.

Room could have been cleaned better. Found dust and food wrappers between bed and hallway wall. Small ants in bathroom on floor. Air conditioning was robust to the point of being cold. Be prepared to walk up 4 flights if that is where your room is.

The location was close to town, and the free parking was convenient. The inn itself had charming decor throughout the property. The room was extremely clean and beds were comfortable. The evening staff person was very friendly and hospitable, and the price was very reasonable.

There wasn’t an elevator so you had to bring your belongings up and down stairs, which was inconvenient. There was an ice machine on the 1st floor only. If you’re on the 4th floor of the inn, it makes getting ice a bit inconvenient. The bathroom was very small, but clean. The morning staff person was not the friendliest, but did allow a later check out time. The original check out time of 10:00 am is too early.

My daughter & I stayed in Room 2 - the best room in the hotel! It has doors you can open wide onto a gorgeous huge balcony that overlooks the main road and the beach and there was a gorgeous breeze coming off the ocean. The bathroom was big with 2 windows - even 1 in the shower you can open so you feel like you're showering outside, which we love. The bed was comfy, the AC was cold, the TV had plenty of channels (not that that matters). There's a cute bagel shop downstairs that even had a gluten free option. The location of this hotel is also perfect...you can walk to everything...even the Washington mall and mad batter. And the Cezanne (I think that was her name) at the front desk is awesome.

Great staff, clean, great location, convenient parking, no elevator which was fine because we are still young enough to do stairs. Just wish there was a counter in bathroom . We would stay again.

Needed a counter in bathroom, maybe a desk in room. Stairs and no elevator. It was no problem because our legs are still good and we packed light. Staff was very accommodating. We liked the place.

It is old maybe over 100 years which which is appealing to us. It’s quaint. It’s well kept it does not have an elevator which we don’t mind. It has Parking, which is awesome and her bike rental is right behind it.

It can be a little noisy because probably the insulation is not as good as newer buildings, but not that bad at all. I wish they had provided us with water like water bottles or something.

The appearance of the Hotel from the outside is nothing from what you get in the inside. What you get is a very homey and warm feeling. The Front desk person went over and beyond in welcoming us. She had the best energy for the customers. The rooms were amazingly comfortable, clean and cozy. But the icing on the cake was the view of the beach front. I not only will stay there again but will also recommend.

Awesome quaint little establishment that is right across from the ocean and in close proximity to everything in cape may. Also has a great restaurant located in its ground floor.

Only downside of this establishment is that there are no elevators. So if you are not one for climbing stairs this may not be the place for you. This was seriously the only downside to this place as it has so much charm.

We had the Cornelius room and it provided and Ocean View and was fabulous. The room was comfortable and a nice size and King Size bed. The room was nicely appointed. The location was great, right across from the beach and close distance to the mall area. The Union Park Dining Room was lovely! Great food!

The bathroom didn't have a vent. I turned on the switch and could hear a vent but could not find one in the ceiling. I think we could have opened the windows but it was raining so we did not. I think the bathroom needed a vent.
