We love this Inn. It's an outstanding location close to the beach, Washington Mall and so many restaurants. The rooms are bright and clean. We were upgraded to a suite and we were happy we took it. The suite is large with great views. The owner/staff are so helpful and appreciated your business. We'll certainly return. We highly recommend.

We took a mini-vacation in January not realizing the sister hotel, Congress Hall was closed. The Star Inn guest have use of the Congress Hall amenities. This is a great benefit staying at this warm, cosy Inn.

The Star is in a super location - walking distance close to the beach, shopping, and great places to not just eat, but to dine. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. The staff, at all levels, bent over backwards to accommodate any questions or requests we had. They could not have been nicer. And being in Cape May - on site parking was a treat. The kind of establishment one would look forward to return visits.

Great location. Easy, quick walk to beach, in center of historic district and easy drive to other areas. Lovely room. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

Didn't realize we'd be on the 3rd floor with no elevator. We are able to climb the stairs, but they were a bit steep getting to the last level. It worked out though.

It was so close to the Washington Mall and still felt private when we were in our rooms. The ocean view room had a lovely view and both rooms we had were super comfortable. We were only there for one night so it was great to be so close to everything and have such lovely amenities. Having our rooms freshened before bed was such a nice touch

Everything was perfect for us

Booked a surprise overnight stay for our Anniversary. Spoke to Gigi in concierge and she helped me with setting up Anniversary balloons, chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco in the room to welcome my husband when we checked in. The woman at the front desk was very sweet and made sure the items were set up before we checked in. The town is adorable and relaxing with plenty of restaurants and shops to browse. Beach was beautiful. The Inn was clean and cozy and the perfect walking distance to everything.

Staff (Barbara) was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I liked that they were in contact with us ahead of our stay with a concierge line and kept in contact with us while we were there to see if we needed anything. Mostly though we loved the LOCATION! It was absolutely perfect!

It was a cold & windy couple of days we were there in the off season. Would've been just a little more comfy if there had been a better seating situation in the room.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The bedding was exceptional! Couch was comfortable & TV was a good quality. The LOCATION was great !! Brian & Barbara were the Best !

We didn't like that the toilet was VERY LOW to the floor. It made it difficult to stand from a sitting position. A COMFORT height would be the best & a OVAL seat.

This is an absolute gem of a property. Perfect location excellent accommodations everything about it was perfect.

I can’t think of anything to complain about or to even suggest the staff seem to have thought of everything. The room was well appointed comfortable, and exactly as described.

We really didn’t like the room. It was uncomfortably small and in the attic basically. Dormers cause low ceilings in parts of the room. It was clean and bed was comfortable. But otherwise it was just very cramped.

The Star Inn is in a wonderful location. They did a great job making the inn feel updated while still maintaining the Cape May Charm. We expected an ocean view from our room, but it ended up being more impressive than expected. Parking was also convenient. We forgot our phone charger, and they were nice enough to call and say they would mail it back for us. I would highly recommend the Star Inn.
