The room was clean. A nice two room suite. And no sand on the floor which is always a plus when staying at a beach location. Front desk staff was accommodating and provided us a place to change into a bathing suit until our room was ready so we could hit the beach.

While the air conditioning worked fine, it really only covered one room unless you crank it up (making it too cold in one room). Some way to keep the second room a little cooler while not make the bedroom area super cold would be a plus.

Great price for basic room with all comforts we needed. Booked cheapest option, the breezeway room without balcony. Good shower, TV, coffee maker and mini fridge. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking. Short walk to downtown and beach is across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

It's not the most modern or pretty property. But if you prefer practical, good location and the best price, I recommend it.

The Sea Crest is a nice, well-kept facility staffed by friendly, helpful people and located conveniently close to the wonderful attractions in the heart of historic Cape May. We were blessed to receive an unexpected room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise!

In our particular room, when other guests were outside in the hallway and speaking loudly, their voices carried right through the air conditioner vent, making it sound like they were in the room with us.

Last minute decision to go to Cape May and able to find a room at a reasonable cost. Staff is amazing and very friendly.

Room was a bit small but served our needs for the one night stayed. It wasn’t a deal breaker. Also, just a note. Actual keys and key chain with the room number and hotel name on it could pose a problem if lost and picked up by a stranger who could then access the room for nefarious reasons.

Location was great. We had the small breezeway room. It was very pretty, clean, quiet and comfortable. It was okay for our overnight, but would have been too small for longer. It had a fridge and coffee maker. Plenty of parking while we were there. My husband and I both remarked on the nice sheets!

We knew this, so just FYI: If you have the small breezeway room, don’t bring luggage. We had two carryons that barely fit in. I am sure the other rooms are bigger. No breakfast. We had no interaction with staff except messages. The office was closed when we arrived and when we left.

This is our third stay. The owner and staff trewt you like friends. We love the higher floor view from the balcony looking at the ocean. Dolphins every day. Sun rises and that wonderful salt air. Rooms are exceptionally clean. It is a no frills decor but most rooms have some sort of kitchen and coffee maker. The location is at the end of the beach towards west cape may. Our favorite part of town.

Property is very well cared for. The room was a suite with kitchenette that had everything we needed and was extremely clean. I have slept in beds and had pillows that were a little more comfortable but they were fine. It’s is right across from the beach and about a 15 minute walk to Washington Mall area. We would return and everyone was nice we encountered.

The room we were in was small which we knew but they didn’t really make a smaller room feel special. No microwave. It was just an after thought room. However, we got a good deal and we were never in the room other than to sleep. So it was good for what it was.

My wife and I have been staying here since we first started dating. I proposed to her in this hotel and we just celebrated our 2 year anniversary this past summer. The entire staff, ESPECIALLY John, made us feel like family. We were even surprised with a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room. As far as I’m concerned, there is better place to stay in Cape May! The hospitality at the Sea Crest Inn is like no where else I’ve ever been. We love it there!!!

Great location and just what we were looking for. We really enjoyed sitting out on our balcony looking at the ocean. It was great to have the kitchenette for breakfasts and lunches. The staff were very helpful whenever we contacted them.
