Breakfast was exactly what I expected from a hotel. It was good and on point for the price. Knowing the location of the hotel and that there are other "LOCAL" facilities to have a meal, it was good.

Upon arrival, i noticed the light outside my door was not functioning and the door strip on the main entre door was in shambles with large gaps where you can see the outside. Understandful, the hotel is gearing up for the summer season and they have many projects going on but I was a guest for 4 days and the issues weren't resolved.....the door gap is a big issue just to think of bugs or say critters isn't get in a room.

The location is good for walking across the street to the beach and walking just a few blocks to the Washington St. Shopping area and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was nice for breakfast and the bar was fun on Thursday night Trivia night. Parking at the hotel was easy, spots in front and back with easy access at both. The hotel beds were comfy , the bathroom and shower were clean and modern with easy step in shower. It was a bit too cool and rainy to enjoy the hotel pool and hot tub during our stay, but it looked very nice. The balcony view of the beach was great, too bad the weather in late May didn't cooperate too make our time there more like summer. We will definitely book here again during a warmer month.

for one wing of rooms , you must go outside to access your room. It was messy on a very windy, rainy day.

Stayed one night for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The room was very clean. The view of the ocean amazing although we had some fog. There was music playing until 9pm at the bar below which we enjoyed because we were celebrating. The full size bed is a little small. Felt like my feet were hanging off and I’m 5’6”. I love that there were two beds with a separate room with a sofa with a queen sleeper bed to hang out in. I tried booking through the hotel website. They wanted a minimum of two nights. I am so glad booking.com allowed me to book just one night which is all we needed especially at a price of $500 a night!

It was clean and was in a great location right across from the beach. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The bar/restaurant was great and the singer was amazing. The pool was clean and well maintained. It was a nice vibe on a Saturday night.

The sink was not located in the bathroom which was weird. The headboards were noisy whenever we moved around in bed. They should just be attached to the wall.

Location is excellent, walked everywhere. Staff very friendly, helpful. The room and hotel were very clean, and beds super comfy. Kitchenette looked stocked (pots/plates/glasses etc,) but did not use much. Liked the rocking chairs on balcony. The pool/restaurant looked nice, but did not get a chance to use.

The balcony, was very small , pictures made the balcony and sitting area seem a lot bigger. We were able to walk everywhere, but seemed limited on parking, so did not want to lose our spot.

When checking in I absolutely loved the two people who checked me in- friendly and helpful and acocomdating and I felt at home right away! They were wonderful!!! My room was awesome and my balcony overlooked the ocean- I could have stayed forever! Last year on Christmas I stayed at a different hotel and hated it! Would never go back! I would come back to Lafayette any time! Thank you for the great service and beautiful room!

Nothing!

The location is exceptional. The beach is right across the street, almost all of the restaurants we tried were literally a 6-8 min walk. We enjoyed two trolley tours (day and night), a mansion tour, dolphin sunset cruise, Washington St. mall and the Wildwood Boardwalk. Even squeezed in a trip to the very efficient Rio Grand NJ Motor Vehicles office. This hotel's location makes all of these adventures a breeze. We appreciated always having available parking too. My highest compliments go to the staff. All front desk people were super friendly plus, I had made a mistake in booking my reservation and the front office bent over backwards to fix this for me. I greatly appreciated how graciously they handled this (especially since the messed up reservation was my fault). Combination of excellent location and exceptional service makes this a place where we will return to in the future.

I felt that the price was high - I understand the value of the great location but the room itself was just ok.

Love the Barefoot Grill that is attached to the hotel. The hotel is perfect. It is in the middle of everything and so clean. Even the pool and spa was impeccably clean. I enjoy this place. Wish it was a bit cheaper. Price is right for the area. But I can only afford one night.

Price is high. Which it was a little more affordable. I understand because of location and the great service and cleanliness but can only stay one night. Little steep. Especially in the summer.

Outdoor bar towels elevator food all were good. Staff helpful. Issues encountered but hotel management refunded 1 night charge for inconvenience.

The in room phone didn't work was told keeping a list of rooms with same issue and will be fixed over the winter. Common area had condensation dripping from ceiling. Needed to leave overhead fan running and set to 72 degrees.

October 2023

The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was so nice to have a heated outdoor pool and hot tub available even in October. The air was slightly chilly, but the pool temperature was perfect. The location can't be beat - ocean views from every room yet just a short walk away from all the shops downtown. Breakfast is very reasonably priced and you can bring it to your room to enjoy on your balcony. We'll definitely be back!

The parking situation might seem daunting at first, but there are actually 2 lots behind the hotel, one is further back behind another building. First floor rooms are pet friendly, so you might hear occasional barking.
