The location was absolutely perfect within walking distance to everything. The shopping food and entertainment was all right there. Lighthouse was a short 9 min ride away and the beach was a five or less min walk. The Inn keeper Katie was so friendly and polite and always available if we needed anything. The view and relaxing areas in the wrap around deck were all beautifully separated depending on your mood.

Even though there was a refrigerator to share within the rooms on the same floor that was ok but would have loved a small one inside of the room. Also the shower was very small. A large person would not have fit in the shower.

The host was wonderful. It is a beautiful property. The location is great. We were able to walk to the beach, the restaurants, and the stores. We did not use our car while staying there.

We knew when we made our reservation that there was no breakfast, and that was a little disappointing.

Kind staff, close to the Washington st mall and beach. Beach chairs and towels for guests beautiful wrap around porch and best thing no children allowed. So it was a peaceful stay with no crying or tantrums

Shower was a bit small but it’s an old house so understandable.

The location was great, the house was very nice, the one staff member we met was delightful we enjoyed our stay

I think the only thing I could say there was the shower was a little on the small side but that was due to space in the room and a good breakfast would have been the finishing touch

Although breakfast is no longer provided, the dining and living rooms were available 24/7 with full and free access to ice and glassware for adult beverages which you brought with you. Also, same access to magnificent china for a limitless supply of coffee, tea, cocoa, etc using the automatic Keurig machine. The antique furniture and beautiful period Christmas decorations were a delight. Guests from the upper 2 floors were lots of fun and we shared time with them in the shared spaces as well as outside on the wrap-around furnished porch to watch the Christmas parade. It was a perfect and much-needed getaway.

Time in our schedule to have stayed much longer.

Location was great! You could walk to just about everywhere. Clean and accommodating. We really enjoyed the large porch. You could sit and enjoy beverages at a table or in the comfortable cushioned chairs. Beautiful hanging plants. We sat out there morning, noon and night!

We were aware our room had a private, detached bathroom and it worked out okay. Some guests would not like it. We stayed in the only room that accommodated 3 guests. All other rooms have private baths. We were very pleased with the Inn overall.

The place was beautiful, immaculately clean, staff was friendly, and the location was great. Only 2 blocks from the beach and one block from town. We appreciated the Keurig and wide variety of teas and coffee available each morning, water cooler, ice machine, and beach towels. It was a great place for our getaway!

We brought our bikes and needed to lock them up each night. Our only critique for this property is that the bike rack needs updating. The old, wooden one on site is not secure. A metal bike rack would be safer.

It is a cozy Victorian house very well located. Only two blocks from the beach and one for the Main Street. Very clean, nice staff.

it was very close to everything, we didn’t move the car from the time we checked in until we left.

Only minor problem. The queen bed in the room was too high. we had to use a step stool to get in it or try to climb onto it. It was a great for laughing considering the 3 of us are in our 60’s, lol!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay at the Captain Mey Inn Bed & Breakfast. It is such a beautiful property. Rooms are spacious, the customer service amazing, fellow guests are nice and the owner is so incredibly kind.
