I enjoyed the location and the room. The building was easy to access and clean. The staff was nice and helpful.

I loved everything about the hotel however when traveling the expenses needed to have a room even when not in peak is not ideal. I would love to come back on weekend or during the summer and with the rates, we just can’t afford to do that

Fantastic location - just across the road from a beautiful beach, 10 minute walk from the historic centre of Cape May and just a 5 minute drive from a good sized and well stocked supermarket (Acme). Rooms were a great size. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Clean bed linen, towels and replacement toiletries every day.

I felt for what we paid, the decor was a little tired. The bathroom had wallpaper around the bath area which was peeling and patched - no tiles. The tap was loose in the wall. Painted cupboards were peeling and flaky. The outdoor swimming pool was a great asset but again looked like it could have done with an overhaul (patched in tiles, flaking paint).

The location was perfect for us. The free bikes and chairs and umbrella at the beach were wonderful. The bar and restaurant were great. Staff was friendly. Air conditioning in the room was excellent. Carl and his wife were amazing! They are great people.

We paid 20$ a night for a rusty and lumpy cot. It was horrible. The springs were so hard. It was awful. The beach and pool towels were very thin. The thing that was most annoying was that in the morning people would go to the pool and put towels on chairs to reserve their loungers then they would go to the beach for the day. They did this so when they got back in the afternoon, they would have loungers by the pool. I saw people all day, not being able to get loungers at the pool because people had reserved them. It was very unfair and frustrating. I stay at a lot of resorts and they do not allow that. If you are gone for more than one hour, they will remove your belongings and take them to the front desk.

The woman who checked us in Tuesday about 3:40pm on June 11 was not welcoming - no smile whatsoever and c/o about us booking through booking.com. She seemed miserable. Observed her several times without a smile !

Front desk person... Juhan was excellent. Good listener, explained all well, professional and kind. Off season price was good. Loved the suite. Front desk including manager very responsive to our request for 12 o clock checkout. Left 11:30 am

After checking in it took us almost 90 minutes to get to room with items falling off the narrow cart. Difficult handling due to not only age but my wife could only use left arm due ti right shoulder. Anyway place is wonderful but navigating to the King Section was difficult We kept saying they should hire some young kids to help with cart and finding room I finally left wife to watch cart and went to front desk to get better directions to the other building/ room We missed time to go to beach and since it was dark we couldn't see ocean from deck. Other than that we were very pleased with accommodations and the staff

Close to the beach and very peaceful. I knew the room door opened straight from the parking lot, but it honestly wasn’t bad at all. It actually turned out to be a nice setup—I could sit right outside my room and see the ocean, hear the waves, and just take in the calm. The location made it easy to walk to the shore whenever I wanted, and the overall vibe was quiet and laid-back. I also really enjoyed the bar and restaurant on-site—the staff was friendly, the atmosphere had a great vibe, and it was a nice place to grab a drink or bite without having to go far. Definitely a great spot to relax and reset.

I think they should at least cover two parking per room.

Very nice hotel. It's a little far from the main drag by convention center stores, and the square. You can use their bikes to get a round but there's a time limit of 2 hrs. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Nice pools indoor and outdoor pools. Parking is limited. They need more spots when the lot was full, people were driving in circles looking for an open spot. You can't use beach tags, chairs/umbrellas on the day you check out even though you can park there until 2. Last day was a wasted day unless you wanted to pay $55 for beach fee, chair and umbrella rental.

Being so close to the ocean and also having 2 pools, I can understand why you didn't have any carpet or soft furniture, but the lack of these 2 features made the room feel very sterile and not very comfortable. The woman at the desk when we arrived at 10:00 p.m. (4/11/2025) in the POURING RAIN was not very friendly or gracious. Also, there was ankle-deep water near the door where I got out of our car (near the door near the indoor pool). The whole facility was IMMACULATE! Very, very impressive. Kitchenette was well stocked with cookware, etc. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Cleaning staff were friendly.

Lack of comfortable furniture in the room. No carpeting--the people above us must have had a child running back and forth and bouncing a ball. The woman at the front desk was rather brusque.

Location is right on the beach. They also provide lounge chairs & towels & put them on the location you choose.Indoor & outdoor pools with hot tub & bar available there also. You can also order lunch by pool or beach & they bring it right to you. On-site restaurant Hemingways is really convenient & food/drinks was nice.

My constructive criticism would be to make use of the single serve half & half or Milk, instead of that nasty powdered creamer. They're underestimating the good start to someone's day. One more thing with this and many hotels is the weak water pressure from the shower head.

Great location , nice view from our room . Enjoyed the indoor pool. Not easy walking distance to everything with a toddler but would be great biking for just adults. They have a bike rack. Parking was a little tight but understandable given the location.

When we booked we asked for a crib. It wasn't in the room and we went to the front desk and they charged us over $40 more for a pack and play. If we had known this wasn't included in the coat we could have brought our own. . Very annoying and seemed wrong but didn't want to make a scene! The restaurant was good and advertised room service but we were told that is no longer available since COVID. This was fine, just a short walk, but they should update their information! The TV remote didn't work well. We thought it was the battery. Maintenance came up and told us we had to page through the channels with the up and down arrow. . Still didn't work. Fortunately we were able to set up our Roku and all was well . ( Just wanted a little Bluey for the baby!)
