Hyland staff was great even when Booking.com tried to cancel all of our rooms. NEVER use Booking.com.

The room was great. Booking.com & especially their customer service agent Lorence A. were TERRIBLE. Agent Lorence A. called me 4-times, 3 times he woke me up calling after 11:00 PM. I asked him if he knew what time it was here in the USA & his response was "Yes, I am doing it on purpose". He even called the hotel directly & tried to cancel ALL of the rooms. Flip this upside down Lorence & read it back to me. "l"

Hyland was affordable and convenient. I decided to stay overnight for a 2day cheer competition with my daughter. This was my 2nd time visiting here so I knew exactly what I was getting. The building is dated and so is the decor but the water was hot and the microwave worked and there was a fridge in the room so I was content. I didn’t care for staying on the lower level because there is a small vestibule between the 2 rooms and someone came and stood there in the middle of the night for an extended period of time it creeped me out a bit. Then someone came with an audio book on speaker in the middle of the night and stood in the door way. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU COULD POSSIBLY BE DOING STANDING IN A PITCH BLACK TINY DOOR WAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT FOR 15 MINUTES lol!🤯 Are you putting yourself in timeout?? Perhaps I will never know…

The office lady was very nice. Our room was very clean and super comfortable. The pool area was beautiful with plenty of lounge chairs. They have grills and picnic tables for you to use as well. They provided a small coffee pot and coffee in the room. We had real coffee cups with saucers in the room. That was different but charming. Would stay here again.

No complaints

Location was central to other areas on the Jersey Shore. The swimming pool was fabulous (very large, not crowded and extremely clean). The maid service was excellent and friendly. The grounds were spacious and clean with plenty of picnic tables. You could also walk or ride bikes to town and the bike trail was a 5 minute ride from the hotel.

Really clean room, strong Wi-Fi, full-size refrigerator, pleasant grounds with lots of trees. Real ceramic coffee cups and saucers! Bottle opener with built-in corkscrew! Despite being right on the Garden State Parkway it was very quiet.

A bit short on shelf space in the bathroom and no USB outlets.

Check in and out was fast and easy. The people were pleasant and I would take that over a 5star hotel. The pool was very clean and peaceful. The rooms were a little old fashioned but very nostalgic for me. The price was right for a last minute booking. I would definitely come back. I brought my husband and 4 children and we all slept very comfortable.

The Hyland Motor Inn is wonderful. They are so accommodating. They make sure your stay is wonderful.

This is a family owned Jersey shore motel. They remind me of my childhood, staying at a mom and pop motel where they appreciate your business.

This retro motor inn was conveniently located 15 minutes from Cape May, and quiet despite it’s roadside location. Our room was clean,spacious, and comfortable, and had a full size fridge and microwave. As long as you aren’t expecting luxury you should have a decent stay.

Nothing bad to say about this place.

We hit road trouble and could not make it to the inn before check-in was over. The staff were kind and helpful, making a way for us to get into our room after a VERY BAD day of travel.

Friendly, accommodating, within walking distance of hospital- convenient location. Pool open. Large fridge. Short drive to Stone Harbor.

Ask for a room with no carpet. The carpets are a little skanky but they are working on replacing them with flooring. Next to a highway which you may not like but it worked for me.
