I highly recommend the Desert Sands. An absolutely beautiful place in a stunning location. My stay was perfect from start to finish. Lovely spacious unit with great facilities. Right next to the most amazing beach. I went to recharge my batteries and left floating from relaxation. Thank you so much to everyone on the crew who made my stay so memorable. I Loved Everything

Nicely updated kitchen space inside the queen suites. Comfortable beds. Clean facilities. Helpful staff. Nice living room space in queen suite. Very good living space. Parking was convenient, if a bit crowded on a holiday weekend.

I had to walk to another hotel, a block away to get an espresso. Not the end of the world. Prices, like all of Avalon are high. Not as high as some.

I’ve been staying here for over 30 years. The staff has always been fantastic and if there was ever a problem, they did everything they could to rectify it.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like about the property

Room was laid out well. The pool. Staff was accommodating service was good.

The machine in the locked closet, our accommodations came on throughout the day and night and was very loud. Loud enough to wake us up at night. There should be a grab bar to get in the bathtub. Should have higher toilets.

Room was clean and comfortable. The bed was nice. Had some basics in the kitchenette. It was fine for what we needed

It would have been nice to have a coffee station for guests and maybe some continental type breakfast for the price of the room.

Been coming here for over 12 years, always clean. We enjoy the area. Always a nice time.

New resort fee added to stay. No access to changing rooms as they keep them locked now, and won’t give you code till you are fully checked in.

The location is great, close to everything.. Jessica the front desk lady is awesome. She's super helpful.. Great stay all the way around. We will be back very soon..

Nothing ..all was good

we had to book the place for the night. my son was admitted to the hospital. we were quite pleased with the room and the facility, and both my wife and I both thought it would be a nice place to go for and extended stay.

Location

The suite was not the one we selected when we booked it originally. We are familiar with the room number and main room set up.

The rooms have just the accommodations we need. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning.
